It was rainy this morning but it has cleared now. Got out to the large market this morning. It was a small shop. Doing some paperwork now will meditate later and probably call my sister-in-law later. My brother died in August so I keep in contact with her to see how she is doing.

bbbearsmom, so sorry for your loss Good of you to keep in contact with your sister in law. It's been drizzly and cloudy all day here, but that's helping to keep the ragweed down at least.

There is a story in the Washington Post about winter depression meeting pandemic depression. They are concerned it is going to be rough for people this year. The article said that 6% of the population in the US has severe symptoms of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and 14% have mild symptoms. I figure I'm somewhere between severe and mild, closer to severe.

Interesting, but probably true that we could be depressed from both pandemic and SAD this year, would you know the difference?

mac, I'm not sure I would know the difference. I can feel the winter depression come on, the not wanting to do anything, the overeating, the withdrawal, but those are general depression symptoms. I think the pandemic for me adds stress, worrying that things might run out at the stores, not getting out as much as I would like, worrying over the news about it, worrying over my husband and/or I getting it and how we would handle it.

It is raining here today, leftovers from Zeta. It is going to be real rain which we need. Haven't had very much rain at all since last winter. Got busy this morning and got some things done, haven't decided what I will do this afternoon.

We had rain overnight and this morning. In the last 48 hours we got over two inches and we really needed it. Even had some big fat snowflakes for a while. Suppose to be even colder tomorrow, may get down in the 20's overnight. Packed up the Halloween candy in small plastic bags in case we get Trick-or-Treaters. Will be wearing a mask and gloves.

Ugh sneezing my head off the past few days, so I have to take some antihistamines and decongestant at night. Between that and the political/health/etc I'm trying to keep positive.
