Good Morning Challengers!
Yesterday I did all 6 of my main HHs, stayed in my green zone of pts. I did both of my microhabits - â50 pushawaysâ and âno seconds with snackâ I did nordic track 40 mins, counted as 2 miles; didnât walk because of the rain.
AMY - So good to hear from you! Glad youâre doing well, staying safe, and getting back to healthy eating.
Waving at everyone! Have a great day!

It's SATURDAY!
KELLY -- Good job with the loss and the positive self-talk! That's so important!
CAIT -- I spotted the eagle (or goshawk), but I can't identify different eagles or juveniles. Just the totally "bald" ones! Excellent job keeping track of your HHs and micro-habits.
AMY -- Good to "see" you again. Did you work the polls? I would have been too nervous; it's bad here, too.
I told my BIL that we won't be joining their family for T-Day; their kids and grandkids are working and at school, and we would put the number of guests over 10. I offered to make cranberry sherbet for them (yum!), but they are on their own for homemade rolls!
I last posted on Wednesday, so I'll add 2 miles/day for 3 days, and I just finished stretching.

Good Morning Challengers!
Yesterday I did 3/6 of my main HHs, stayed in my red zone of pts. I did 1/2 of my microhabits - â50 pushawaysâ I did nordic track 40 mins, counted as 2 miles; didnât walk because of the rain. Itâs raining today also.
Three deer were grazing in front this am, nibbling on our baby cedars đ Probably Mom and her youngsters. Rain didnât seem to bother them at all, but thereâs some tree cover there.
CAROL - GFY with 2 mi per day for 3 days and stretching! You seem to have adjusted to losing the Aquafit. Good decision re Thanksgiving get together. We usually go to our community hall get together but nothingâs been said about it. I doubt weâll go even if they do it outside. Cases are increasing here in our rural county and we just had the first death. Our part of the county is the lowest infection rate in the county. The county just moved up from the lowest tier - âminimalâ - to the 2nd lowest tier of restrictions and severity - âmoderate.â The high school in town was open alternating days, but went back to remote when someone tested positive.
Waving at everyone! Have a great day!

SUNDAY!
I joined a Zoom discussion with the author of the book our library chose as the "One Book, One Lincoln" selection. Ann Napolitano wrote *Dear Edward,* and it was fun to hear her talk about writing it, the characters, people's reactions, and so on. There were about 90 of us! We are so lucky to have an active and engaged library community here!
CAIT -- I have not adjusted to "no pool!" Walking often tweaks my back, and I'm a "fair-weather" bicyclist, but I have decided to wait until we are out of the "red" (danger) category to look into the Y. So much uncertainty and so many changes, roll-backs, and flip-flops. I'm glad you have the wildlife to enjoy!
It was a sunny day here, but windy! I was planning to finish a project today (refinishing metal plant stands), but the temperature never got warm enough for me to paint. Hopefully, it will get into the 60s tomorrow and I can work on them.
I didn't walk today, but I just finished stretching.

Good Morning!! Busy Saturday was on the run all day and eating was not good. Yesterday was a better day. I added 2 miles Friday and 1 mile on Saturday. Yesterday was a day of rest.
Amy: Glad you posted and are doing well.
Cait: Funny on the regular desktop I can see the Eagle(goshawk)clearly. Good job on the walking/ exercise.
Carol: I don't blame you for choosing to avoid the the Thanksgiving get together. I am sure you are missing the pool workouts.
Waving to all. Happy Walking!!

CAROL - I donât fault you for being a fair weather bicyclist. Just the thought of cycling is scary to me because of the risks, with my bone issues and lessened balance. Just as with the Y and family gatherings, safer is best. Funny, when you said âflip flopsâ I only thought of the sandal variety. Itâs a SoCal thing đ Re the Phillip Kerr Bernie Gunther series - now Iâm thinking itâs better to read the prequel âMetropolisâ first. Iâm re-reading âThe Pale Criminalâ now. I thought I hadnât read it but now I realize I did read it a long time ago before I started logging my books in an app. Iâm totally engrossed. Itâs set in 1938. I think âMetropolisâ is set in 1928. It takes me a lot of time to read these because I look up places and people that are mentioned. Itâs pretty cool that we saw a lot of the places last year on our trip. There are quite a few of the series that I havenât read so Iâm going to try to fill in by chronological order of the narrative, instead of publication order. www.howtoread.me/bernie-gunther-books-in-order/amp/KELLY - GFY with the good day Sunday. The iPad probably has better definition. My DH couldnât find the eagle/goshawk on the phone display either, and he took the photo!

MONDAY! KELLY -- I know Sunday felt good after a busy week and Saturday! CAIT -- thanks for the P.Kerr idea. I bookmarked the website. Re: flip-flops. Well, we used to call the sandals "thongs," but that's not such a good idea these days! I swept the driveway today, and so I'm counting 1 mile. We have a Flowering Crab that shades our brick patio (so we NEED IT), but this year it produced a ton of "apples." It's suffered through many storms throughout the years and is very misshapen, but I'm afraid it's sending out all these seeds as a last-ditch effort. Fingers crossed! Our patio would be unusable in the summer without this tree! So, 1 mile for sweeping, and I just stretched. 258/250 miles 69/75 stretching Stretching: 2018: 141; 2019: 192 2020: Jan:14; Feb:16; Mar:16; Apr:15; May:16; June:14; July:16; Aug:11; Sept:15; Oct:17; Nov: 10/30
