Sunday - Accomplishments:
Great day for me! I managed to get a number of items done in the yard. - Finished the fence project. Hooray!!! - Managed to get all four of the Butterfly bushes cut back and also removed debris - Finished raking the pine needles on the right side of the house - Cleaned up the bird feeding area. - Did a very good job watering trees
I have a list for tomorrow that isn't too long. I am extremely motivated to get as much done as possible before winter comes back. Especially if it requires crawling around on the ground.
Hope you are having a relaxing weekend!!!

Wowza! Great job you on your continued functional fitness, continued weight loss and your streak! That is soooooo FANTASTIC!!! Huh, your brother could be famous! I'll have to see if I can do a search on that video, sounds cute! I hope your AA plan works out!...lol....good thing you and me know what that means! GLad you enjoyed your decorations. We were cross posting. Great work today on your outside areas!
Yes, I had pulled out a few Halloween decorations and had them set about. The dining room table, formal living room, entry way and family room were a bit of a nightmare though, so that all had to be worked on in addition to pumpkin carving, cookie baking and food shopping. It was all worth it, things went well, the get together sounded like all had a good time, it was 7 people, inluding DD. Lots was accomplished yesterday.
Etsy/Craft: Sorry yesterday was soooooo long. So, I go the rest of the 12 days tags posted, picked up my angel cards, got those posted and posted the original Snowflake Paper Mosaic. So now, ALL is posted that will be for at least a few months. I will not be making new things, painting new things, etc. I also got my notebook out and wrote down every idea I have to do, want to do later. So that will be good to look back on later. THere is one thing left I have to do because I committed to it and that is paint the three sets of coasters for my friend that she ordered, and it is over. One interesting thing is it's probably good that I did not put all energy into finishing puzzles cause I'm not even sure what I have will sell, plus doing the variety of other things I've done increased my overall "catalog" and library of desciptors and tags and that is very good for increasing presence and visability.
New HOuse: -I ahve papers about me now and will begin three hole punch, labeling, put in binders. DH I have communication issues, he will tell me how miuch he things something costs, then I will tell him what I "saw" they cost, then he will say it's not right, too high, but then will come back later and say, Oh, I guess they do cost this much. So, I need to just make my own reference list and put it in the binder to avoid going round/round about every item. Plus I could print out spec sheets and costs of Items as well.
TaDa: -blew the leaves in advance of DH mowing so he could mow them up.
That's about it. Hope you've had a good day.

Z, Great job keeping all of the new house paperwork under control! Glad that the get together was fun for DD and friends. It's just so hard for young people now..... Don't ever think that sometimes your posts are too long! It's all so interesting!!! Sometimes I get going and on and on and don't give it a thought anymore--except I do edit the dreary blah blah blahs LOL
Monday's Accomplishments: - Seven large bags of leaves and debris from the river tree. I had to crawl around and use my hand rake to get most of it since the leaves were stuck in large piles in the native vegetation. I raked up last year's leaves this summer so I am hoping that dealing with these types of things now will reduce the workload next spring/summer. - Eight bags of river rock hauled out of the front planter and many more bags to go. But I am just going to focus on the fact that I could tell that the back 12 inches of about 25 feet is going to work for raking now that the rocks are gone. So I was happy about that. - Gave myself a complete haircut. I am getting really good at this and will probably just do it myself from now on. Sometimes I still get some bare spots from over zealous chopping since my hair is so short. But I have had some really bad haircuts over the years so I know that my technique is fairly rad!
Time out--Buttercup is crying because she wants someone to play with her and that someone is me.... She is very verbally expressive but I like to pay attention to her since it is kind of very cute dog talk. All of her opinions abut things like according to here she did not get enough dinner--- Bark Bark Bark!
- Changed dogs pool water
- Got UPS done.
- Not much else got accomplished. It was a slow motion day since I was dealing with the start of a migraine which so far has not gone on the rampage--Thank goodness.
Tomorrow the plan is more crawling around dealing with the river rock and also tiny pine needles in the back planter of which there seem to be a lot.
Hope you are having a great evening!!!

Hello,
That is a lot of river rock you're hauling! Where do you put it?
Today TaDas: -called the plumbers back to fix the new sink that was leaking, they came, done -unloaded DW, REloaded, Washed sinkful hand wash, put counterful away -went to appliance place again after discussions with DH to finalize, o at least I think pretty finalize our appliance selections, this should make that meeting go more quickly with appliance people cause we already know what we want, we just tell them, brought home print outs to put in binder. -returned the faucet that didn't arrive in time to Amazon thru the drop off center.
Craft: -went to print place, I got to looking one set of the cards noticed the text was off center. I believe when they were focusing on centering the image on the card, they forgot to also shift the text box underneath it to match, which caused this. This is on me tho because I should have just measured it at the counter and I did sort of notice it to begin with. But of course I brought them home, and the more I looked at it, the more it bothered me and so... But, they should know if they moved the image, they would need to move the text box underneath it too or it would end up off. This is not something I should have to explain. But I did not have many printed, and I was very nice, will pay for all, I can use them or gift the off ones.I think the gal who worked on them was new. These people are still so much better than the other place. -someone ordered a 12 Days of Christmas card pack today!!!! Whooopee!
That's it for now.
Z
TOnight I am putting together the new house binder.

Z, I checked out your Etsy site again. Wow!!! and double Wow!!! I was so excited to see many of the items you have shown me and I just loved people's comments about your service and quality of merchandise. You get more than five stars************!!! 12 Stars for the 12 days of Christmas.
Tuesday Accomplishments:
I realized that I needed to hustle to get another project done so I worked on getting the leaves off a bunch of bushes, raking them up and then putting their protective enclosures around them so that the rabbits don't chew on the bark and kill them. I managed to get all the leaves raked up for all bushes and put up protective enclosures until I ran out of supplies. I will have to talk to DH to see if he wants all of the rest of them done. I can't remember if the rabbits eat certain plants but he will.
Tomorrow I have to go get my annual physical so I won't be able to do any yard work. This is good. I need a day off. I am glad the 27 bushes are gone and I wouldn't mind at all chopping down the rest of them. There is a serious work over load situation in the gardening department. However I am determined to do what is supposed to be done with a cheerful attitude which I notice I have unless I get really tired. The lemonade in all this is that I am in seriously good shape and also have increased my self discipline so I am glad for all of it because of those reasons. Also I sure do love being out of doors. Thanks for reading this.
Hope you are having a wonderful night!!!

Wednesday Accomplishments:
-Four loads of wash--the rugs
-Got the backing put down for all the rugs that needed it
Doctor appointment and then stopped by the new pharmacy to make sure they understood about my prescription which they didn't so I am glad I got that taken care of.
That was about it for me. I skipped all of the complexities.....
Hope you had a great day!!!

Good Morning,
I may have forgotten we came to the city to do two days worth of meetings picking all of our house sfuff out.
I'm glad you got your time off from yard work and hope the physical went well. You have gotten so much done out there. The work of 10 men!!! Hope DH appreciates you!
New House: -met with appliances people, got all of that picked out as had done research in advance on most, that went quickly. -Then we met with another store that does flooring, shower tiles, countertops, back splashes. We got the flecked style carpet everywhere, but only the color I wanted in the master. I compromised and we got what DH wanted everywhere else, which is stairs, downstairs and down stairs bedrooms. IT is still flecked, just lighter color. Bedrooms: For the master bath, I'd say we went with color scheme that was DH's preference, which is more gray/blueish, shower tile, quarts but pretty even looking light grayish, counterop, no veining to speak of and the flooring which is called a "LVT" luxury vinyl tile" (this is fine for us) has a bit more color in it, like some blue/gray along with creams and browns. For the guest bath upstairs it was more my choice, so I picked the flooring that was more cream, tan, golds, warmer with no touches of cool really as in master bath. -kitchen counters and guest bath counter will be Silestone, "Silken Pearl" wich is a creamy, tiny thin white veigning with grayish mottling tones. -kitchenn back splash we piced a slightly larger than normal subway type tile, except it has grayish, blue, cream, white striations, subtle in it, there will be not accent tiles -for both upstairs shower walls, there will be a 6 inch band of 2"x2" tile that is same tile as rest of the shower tile for the accents. So it is very tone on tone, mono crhomatic type look, not super busy. -downstairs baths have vinyl flooring, natural nueutral faux tile look, formica counter tops, tile back splash...both of these are very much earthy tones. -Wood floooring..upstairs only is a 6 or 7" plank, darker, but not chocolate, it is gold, redish, warm looking I believ it is engineered hard wood.
Today is cabinets, and pre construction meeting, must get ready.

Z, It all sounds so wonderful!!! It was such a smart idea to have done research before these meetings. I can't wait to read about your cabinet choice in the K. It is going to be stunning!!! Thursday Accomplishments: I worked on the back fence for awhile and then started cleaning house. Got two loads of laundry done and also cleaned that room thoroughly. Otherwise just cleaned, dusted, vac'd wherever it needed to be done. It sure was nice to be in the house for a change! Hope your meetings went well.

Friday's accomplishments: I spent a long time raking inside the yard that goes around the house and got five bags of leaves and some pine needles. Also put up two more enclosures to keep the rabbits out. These enclosures actually look quite nice!
That was about it for me. Did the usual picking up and general house cleaning. Today was the first day I have worked in winter conditions. There are some advantages to this such as not having to worry about heat stroke.
Tomorrow, I will do the dusting. We had a few tiny raindrops so there is hope. If it would rain enough to help tamp down the dust that would be so helpful. Today we had a dust storm which was actually fairly incredible. I have some other things in mind and am excited that I may even get to the shelf liner project.

Saturday: Great day for me! I am starting to feel like I am getting ahead. Also SNOW! I was just thrilled to see it this morning even if it was just a light dusting. Possibly we will get more tonight. I have a list of monthly items that I worked on today.
Accomplishments: - Two loads of laundry - Dusting especially all silk plants - Got through the stash and dash papers that I put in the K. Now it is all organized again - Mended one of DH's winter coats - Groomed Sam, this is always such a big job but I am hoping that now it in on my monthly list that it will be easier. - Did some organizational work in the Laundry Room, and also my little sewing box, decluttered four clothing items - Cleaned the leaves off the deck which should help keeping the little debris out of the house - Thoroughly cleaned the basement, another monthly duty - Made sure that the headlamps in our vehicles work
That was about it for me. I did manage to get all items done on my monthly list. Tomorrow DH is going to help hang some mirrors. I just have a few items so I will be able to work on the shelf liner project. I am going to skip working outside since it is supposed to warm up later in the week.
Hope you are having a great weekend!!!

Sunday- Best news! It snowed over night. DH and I were outside in 20 degrees shoveling like crazy. Hooray for this snow!!! I sure enjoyed this day without the extreme fire danger I have been living with these last months.
Also worked on the shelf liner project. Got 8 drawers done. Those drawers had already been organized. Then I ran into a couple of problem ones. Dumped them in two boxes and stopped the liner project. I will continue after I get these boxes cleaned up.
Chilly here!

Good JOb on your jobs there and congrats on the snowfall.I'm glad you're happy about it! You're doing well with your emergency Preparednesss work and supplies.
Sorry I was MIA again. Upon returning home I was in full on cooking, house, information, on and on overload and we were celebrating DD's birthday on Friday, I baked a Chocolate Strawberry cake, a nice dinner, we celebrated. Saturday I had church commitment for sound system for special service, the BIshop was there, only one mistake, but it was LOUD!!!!...oopsie...and that took the whole middle part of the day. Then I had to go do sound again this morning for my regular gig, no mistakes, no Bishop...lol. Oh well. I did a leaf blow and rake, walked, blew again today, no rake, will do it tomorrow.
I'm breaking my own rules and this is not good! I must, must must get those coasters prepped and painted for the Tiki Coasters my friend asked me for Christmas Presents! I will, will, will start these tomorrow!
HOuse, I cleaned up some of the kitchen and rebooted laundry x1
New House: We had the cabinetry and preconstruction meeting. THere were comments about my binder, I can't imagine I'm the first customer to show up with an organized binder? All good natured. That went smoothly. DH led the way with flooring picking and cabinetry, which thankfully I agreed with. We are going with the standard packages of what they include in many areas, because DH doesn't want to spend overspend, over improve the house. THis I agree with but I have held firm on some kitchen cabinet things I wanted, roll outs, big drawers, and stuff having to do with how this hutch thing looks. Like having the wood grids on the outside of the glass that align/hide the wood shelving edges inside the glass. We went with the standard Hickory (shows some grain) and a darker stain on it, like it's not black, but it is fairly dark, shaker door and will have brushed nickel hardware on it. This cabinetry goes everywhere in the house. Also we decided against putting a second fireplace downstairs, DH wanted that to begin with, but he also wanted a bar. I said I was fine with no fireplace but wanted the bar to look like a finished normal thing with builtin beverage fridge, and whatever else he wanted in it, to get it from appliance store, get it ordered and everythign done through the builder properly. No short cuts, bypasses, to try to do do cheaply or setting weird stuff in holes/cutouts DIY er blah, blah, blah. I think this was understood. Also I did research, found pulls, knobs we like and will talk to cabinet person about that tomrrow cause they're on Wayfair.com....I don't think the link she gave me carries this brand. We are supposed to hear how much over our allowance we are on house and cabinetry this week I think. BUt DH is finance person and together we have done good job guestimating where we're at with my research and his spreadsheet. We were right on our estimate with appliances. We will be a bit over flooring, countertops upstairs, and few bells and whistles on the cabinetry, not many. We know we'll be over in a few areas, it's really a matter of finding out by how much. ALso I will be able to meet with lighting company here near me and the plumbing company they like to use actually has a showroom literally 3 minutes from our house, so this will all be very convenient. Thanks for listening.
Craft: So, I came up with another card design, and I'm doing it. It will have 6 cards in a pack, 2 of each design. Or I could just offer three and they pay the shipping, so what do I care? Hmmm. I will post a picture of example of it. So you know I did three celtic knots/crosses on the wood slices. So I did my photo filter, app thing to these and they came out so cool, even better than the angel really, I did not stop myself from moving forward with them. What is neat is they do have the celtic patter, but as they're on a woodslice, you've got a circle and rings of the wood color, bark color, paint color, design, bark, and then with the app thing, it adds the circles, but then it also looks like a geode at the same time. They have many aspects to them that people like looking at and the colors are good. So I worked these up today and will get the test prints tomorrow. I will post picture. Now, I KNOW..I cannot and shoudl not use that filter app on anything else...and I won't. I've done enough with it, but I think these are really neat. Those 12 days of Christmas tags ..I made 4 sets cause that's all I had supplies left for, three of them are sold!
Avatar: This is one of them. This is a Celtic Pattern from the Rodney Stone in Scotland. I did rotate this photo so the darker border, brown will be on the bottom, not the side like it looks here.
WHew, it's been a day. I've been awake since 4:00 AM, the whole time change has me messed up.

Z, Your meetings sound so successful! Great job getting prepared in advance!!! I love your latest avatar.
Monday - Accomplishments - Two major ones were dealing with the boxes that I dumped the stuff from the 2 K drawers in yesterday. One of them I managed to take care of 100% of all the items. The other was organized and file folders set up which was Phase one of that box. - Load of laundry - Two dog walks. I can't use my quad to run them since there is snow on the ground so it is dangerous. - Fixed the dog veggie packs for two weeks - Tried to fix a door and at least it is better - Got all items to the recycle bin for Wednesday pick up - Started working on the heated bird bath. Hopefully I can figure it out myself - One light bulb and one battery changed - Mini Home Blessing - Bedding in guest bedroom -UPS dealt with
I'll finish up the day with around 14,053 steps which is down a couple hundred from what I have been doing most days. Also they weren't intense labor functional fitness ones so it was an easy day.
It was zero this a.m. which is rather chilly. I am in a mood lately and will be glad when that goes away. The time change is knocking off an hour a day of my sleep so that is probably adding up. I have managed to not complain once to DH about it--or anyone else. But this is sort of a complaint .LOL
That's about it for the day for me.

Good Evening,
Good job working through that box of stuff from your drawers. You are so good at following through on jobs! You got lots done today! Those birds are living the life at your property!!! A heated bird bath? Wow! I hear you on this time change, it is messing me up a lot!
I am very stressed out right now over a multitude of things.
Craft: So, I realized I can sell prints (which were left over from previouse year's craft shows, because I can mail them in a 12.5"x12.5" rigid mailer, that for some reason I didn't think they'd fit in, or realized existed, for shipping cost of about $4.00. Duh. This will be easy because they already exist so I just have to photo them and post them. It will be interesting to see if anyone buys them. I edited my order to the print shop and put it in., and I am done I am done printing for this year.
I did some of the kitchen. Then I blew, raked, and bagged leaves. I played dueling blower with the neighbor's landscaper, maybe I shouldn't have, but they don't do what they're supposed to, makes more work for me and I was annoyed.
