Associated Press: "Trump administration moves ahead on gutting bird protections".
Scales back federal prosecution authority for deadly threats to migratory birds from industry. This is about the 1918 Migratory Bird Treaty Act. Trump adminstration maintains that the Act should apply only to birds killed or harmed intentionally.
I'm sure they have been ignoring enforcing this anyway the whole four years, but, Jeez Louise, why this parting shot? I know they're evil, but don't they ever get tired of being evil? Good gets tired; evil seems to have inexhaustible energy.
This is not the worst thing this admin has done by a long shot, but it just got my goat today, bigly.
Biden needs a new cabinet post strictly devoted to undoing Trump's bad actions.

Oh I can see him doing a "how can I f'over Biden" daily now. It's in his nature. Forget that it also f's over the American people, as long as he can get back at Biden for having the audacity to be more well liked and all that...

DotRen, He's now trying to throw away ballots in the two counties in Wisconsin that had to do recounts. There's still a lawsuit in Pennsylvania that the mail-in vote law from 2019 is unconstitutional so all mail-in votes should be thrown out. I really shouldn't look at the news.

Current polling shows 77% of Republicans surveyed believe Biden "stole the election". I was watching some pundit trying to draw an equivalency with Democrats thinking Trump's presidency was illegitimate. He was fact checked by the moderator that only 32% of Democrats thought Trump stole the election after 2016 results. I am so tired of them with their false equivalencies!
Another on air person was thinking that the Senate (assuming Repulicans maintain their majority) will confirm most of Biden's cabinet, and just pick one or two to deny to show that they are not knuckling under to the Dems. I hope he is correct in this analysis. It sounds possible since so far Biden's picks have been quite mainstream. Everybody likes Yellen for Treasury.
A lot is riding on the Biden/McConnell relationship which goes back decades. Can they at least get together enough to get some stimulus relief passed? I sure hope so.

Lani, the polls also told us Hillary would be the President.
Btw, has anyone on here ever been polled?
I never have.

Lani, the polls also told us Hillary would be the President. Btw, has anyone on here ever been polled? I never have. First, no I've never been polled.
Second, what I was told by a professor of political science was that the polls were correct. They measured the popular vote, and the amount by which Hillary won the popular vote was correct.

I'm sure I've been called by polling groups but since I never answer an unknown number... I'm just speculating here, but perhaps post-election polling is more accurate than pre-election? There's less at stake, people are just either grousing about, or happy about the results. Biden twisted his ankle playing with his dog. The opposition will say it shows he's fragile, I'm sure. Funny tweeters are saying phrases like "his dog" and "playing" haven't been associated with the president for 4 years.

The opposition will say it shows he's fragile, I'm sure. I was thinking this too. Can't wait to read what Trump tweets about it. Funny tweeters are saying phrases like "his dog" and "playing" haven't been associated with the president for 4 years. I was so happy when I heard about the two dogs that were going to be living in the White House. Another reason I think ill of Trump is he doesn't have pets.

Or friends. He has family and employees. I guess he wanted to be friends with dictators. Yes, many have remarked on the fact that he apparently has never had a pet. As far as I know.
