I think it's great that Biden sprained his ankle doing a completely HUMAN thing like playing with his dogs! And he won't try to use that to be a draft dodger

From reading all the stories about the votes and the challenges I do think that state legislatures should pass laws that clarify the parts of absentee/mail-in ballots that have been questioned and have the laws implemented the same across the state. I also think that the Republican legislatures should not have a knee-jerk reaction when doing this. There may be a time when mail-in voting is their friend. In our state I guess the towns/cities that have the personnel and time get voters to come in and correct their mistakes, but our city doesn't have the personnel or time to do the corrections. They make a list by party of the ballots that have a problem and give it to each party and it is up to the party to contact the people to come in to correct their ballot.

bbbearsmom, you're right. A lot of this had to do with the pandemic related fear of in person voting, so many states that had never done mass absentee voting had to organize it relatively quickly without enough time to prep.

lani, In Wisconsin the State pointed out that the Republicans were challenging things about the mail-in votes that had been done for years and were in place in 2016 but they didn't complain then.

lani , In Wisconsin the State pointed out that the Republicans were challenging things about the mail-in votes that had been done for years and were in place in 2016 but they didn't complain then. Yeah, I was referring to any actual confusion and glitches that occured, not that any of them affected the outcome. Republicans are just upfront about maintaining power by any means with a minority of voters. You can't shame them, you can't reason with those that vote for them.

Some Trumpers are tweeting about starting a new Freedom Party and leaving the GOP. This would be the best thing ever! Split that vote! C'mon Trumpers, go for it!

That sounds like an excellent idea! I hope they go for it too.
I wonder if there are any real Republicans, not Trump cult zombies, who have tried to reason with these cult members.
I know they won't listen to us, but perhaps they'd be open to others who were, at one time, a kindred spirit.
Trump worshippers remind me of the three monkeys. Even though the truth/evil is right in front of them, they see no evil, hear no evil, and speak no evil.
Like little brats caught with melted ice cream all over their face, hands, shirt, and the kitchen table before dinner, stuffing their sticky little fingers in their ears shouting, "I can't hear you!"
They are exhausting.
