Tuesday: 154.2 - up .2 bbbearsmom hang in there. Great strategies are firmly entrenched in your daily living. Stronger days are coming. Whip out your response cards. Sending hugs π€ for dessert. mac Maybe you could do some tracking forensics and see if thereβs an area that you could pull back on? Maybe less points for sugar or carbs? Maybe more protein and veggies? Perhaps you can change just one thing in your daily menu? Add a 10 minutes of non-negotiable intentional movement ? Iβm cheering π£ you on no matter what mac!

luvvinlife, Thanks. mac, You might try drinking more water. I read that recommendation. Also see if you can change around the food you are eating.

After last night's indulgence...up 2.6 pounds on the scale. It may go up a bit more tomorrow BUT I don't think you can REALLY gain 2.6 pounds overnight unless it is water weight. SO, am back on track today and with weeklies still remaining know the pounds will leave as long as I stay OP. <176.6>

Wednesday, November 11: 125.8 - up 0.4 lb. Not sweating it. My post-election relaxation has gone with the wind. I have been faithful to my plan for quite a while, so I am giving myself slack for stress causing body to hang onto the calories. My measurements have not changed one iota. cathygeha, you might want to take your measurements when you experience those big swings. However, you are handling it fine, so probably not necessary .

Thanks ann1953 ! π Itβs been a real struggle these days but patience and perseverance will win. I had my checkup with my Cardiologist today. My reports were good but my resting heart rate is a bit low and Iβm experiencing some fluttering from time to time. Iβm on a wireless monitor until Saturday. She may need to reduce my meds. Sounds good to me!

<175.8> and she sings! Not because she is back to the lowest number on the scale BUT because she did not go up a second day as she often does after an evening of indulgence.
In other words...it could have been worse, I have seen the low number so it is mine already, as long as I work the plan the plan will work for me.
mac, Oh! I can't wait to be five pounds from goal weight again! Well, I can and will wait but am eager to be there again and can feel that you are, too! I usually hit a plateau that lasts awhile when I reach weights I have stuck at for a longer period of time...thus the 180 what seemed months plateau and the one at 200. I am hoping there won't be another at 160 but there easily could be. So, some ideas: * don't repeat the same meals day after day...change things so you don't repeat for a couple of days * have breakfast for dinner * more water * more exercise - or stop exercising then return to it later * Don't eat the same number of points/calories every day...have low and high point days (Wendie plan) * Cut back on salt, soda, processed foods * think positive - see yourself at that lower number - speak only positive words to yourself...don't draw negative to you
@uvvinlife, I hope you can reduce your meds. My hope is that when at goal weight I can cut back BUT my sister said that she, at goal weight, still needs BP medss so perhaps not. Time will tell.
lani, I have always thought that I should have taken measurements at the beginning of the journey but always forget to do so. I might be able to do so now BUT I usually know what the indulgence evening will do and how my body will react AND that not doing those big point days often will be okay in the long run. It usually puts me up a few pounds and those pounds come off more slowly than they go on but they do come off again. Even if the points are within weeklies I am thinking that long ago there was a maximum of ten points one could use for an indulgence...not all the weeklies in one go...wonder if that is a true memory or not?
Everyone - thank you for being here and being so supportive!
