Happy Friday Evening.
Planted Snapdragons and lettuce today. Something...Mr. Squirrel???...ate my chive seedlings. Grrrrr. Painting walls almost done. Trim work is slower. Had to retire my shorts as the weather is in the high 60's. Jeans still fit (tightly) so that's a plus.
Hang in there everyone!

Good Saturday Morning, positive π£π£!
Jan - I thought critters stayed away from the oniony stuff? You may have a gourmet squirrel there!
Yes I did --another brisk neighborhood walk yesterday, before dinner. I am on a 15 day streak meeting my Fitbit goals! --drag self out of bed early for a 7:30 am WW Zoom meeting today. A little disappointed, I miss my old group. I will stick with it awhile more (a challenge for me!) even though I feel like running away, LOL. That means I will show up for it through December, to give it a chance. I also will lurk in the Sunday a.m. Zoom meeting run by my old coach, maybe that one will be a better fit. The way things are going, I don't know if I'll get to any in-person meetings anytime soon. --see the little downy woodpecker at my suet feeder while I was sitting here feeling "down" ...heh heh. He cheered me up!
Yes I CAN: --drink more water --get outside to keep my step streak going --DECLUTTER
Be well! Carol

Good Morning! Love, light, blessings. Good health to all!
I am sorry to get so sloppy about checking in. So I am just going to start with committing to checking in more regularly, I did have some bread but was (barely) OP yesterday. I am not baking today. Right now I have a lot of bags of flour stacked on my coffee table and I will think of a better storage plan after I finish this brief. I did manage a spinning class and a couple of short walks yesterday. Today: work, law, and afternoon play - walk, swim, Mass, and movie with MF! (netflix).
love light blessings and good health, off to check the mail and fill the bird bath. janet

Hi Canners, I will weight 500 lbs by next Thursday if I do not resolve my anxiety re Thanksgiving plans. I am about to uninvite beloved baby Nora and her parents from SC and DS1 is struggling with whether new sweetie will come from LA. I think everyone should stay home and be depressed and hopeful. Ugh. Once I made this decision, my need for numb eating has diminished SO WW related....

Arghhh! I must get out of the house again. Neighbor has been running a very noisy leaf blower since 8:30 a.m. It is now 12:30 and he still hasn't finished making his gigantic leaf pile.... πππ ππππ ππππππ πππππππ ππππππππ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 4:45 Yes I DID: --go for another brisk neighborhood walk before breakfast. 42Β° today. --drive to Old House to declutter. Too cold to work in the attic. Heating system is still not fixed, and I have only so many space heaters. Tackled some well-aged paperwork hiding in a corner under a box of books. Was going to just destroy a bag o'paper from the '90s but found, amidst the junk, the abstract of title to Old House, which will come in handy should I wish to sell the property! So I did go more slowly and carefully. I do have a big pile of other stuff that I safely can shred now. --give in to a wee bit of nostalgia, going through the paperwork. Time to let go.
Be well! Carol

Happy Saturday. Carol: Hurrah for your 15-day walking streak. Be proud my friend, that is great! Leaf Blowers...ugh...you know I can't stand those things. Get out a rake or broom and get some exercise for goodness sake people. One of our neighbors is doing a major landscape job with lots of jack-hammering. I pity the people who live next door to them. I too am de-cluttering and getting my papers in order. Need new earthquake/fire kits, I have the backpacks, so just putting them together is my goal for next week. Always keep shoes by the bed. Hi to your little downy woodpecker! Sally: I am so sorry your T-day plans with Nora and family must be put on hold. If everyone would put their big-boy and big girl pants on it would help. Hang in there. Janet: I baked today for you! Almond Apricot Blondies. Ate too many, now need to give some away. Nat: Hope your procedure went well. Sweet Dreams and Keep the Faith, Jan

Good Morning! Sunday. Love, light, blessings, and good health.
Hi Sally! With you on anxiety eating. Been quarrelling with MF and it has not been pretty.
Hi Carol! Hooray for finding the title to your house and walking. I also hate that noise and it is everywhere. And I cannot go anywhere to hide from it.
Hi Jan wow your baking sounds delish.
Sending extra love, light, blessings, prayers, and good health to Nat1
ME: OPish, stress over the top. MF's biz not going to make it and he is taking it out on me. I feel like that old Clash song, should I stay or should I go. Still chugging along with work. Yesterday: walk, swim, home abs. OPish but need to be really careful today. Work, walk, weights, home abs. I need to do the yard but am putting it off until project done/arthritis better. love, light, blessings, and good health, janet

Good Sunday noon, positive and/or "depressed & hopeful" π₯π₯!
I awoke early, considered an early walk, heard the wind & rain and opted to stay inside. Virtual Mass, a couple short Leslie Sansone walking videos, and a 2nd WW Zoom meeting, so far. This Zoom, with my favorite coach from the days of in-person meetings, felt a bit more hopeful, even though most of us are struggling with Covid fatigue, holiday angst, etc. It still felt hopeful...we will get through this. I'm going to stick with the 2 WW Zooms for awhile, one on Sat. a.m., one on Sun. Formulating goals for now through Jan 1. Thoughts?
Sally - sorry about holiday plans...proud of you for level-headedness
Nat - sending healthy vibes your way as you prep
Jan - I always keep my shoes and a pair of jeggings by the bed, just in case...
Janet - Sorry for discord with MF.... we all are stressing out ... I have to watch myself as my fear at times plays out as misplaced anger, sometimes I am surprised at how much is bubbling up
Yes I DID: --sleep well. Feel better. --enjoy starting my day earlier... I am by nature a morning person and I seem to make progress when my dear Sweetie isn't influencing the schedule. I feel good the rest of the day. This is my "why" for getting to bed earlier, LOL! --make a yummy omelette, our new Sunday tradition.
Yes I CAN: --ride the wave of momentum to declutter again today
Be well! Carol

Happy Sunday Evening.
Janet: Yup, everyone is frustrated or angry with the present situation. Holidays don't help. Never a happy time of year for me except that my Mom loved all the decorations. This year I don't have to do anything. Hang in there with MF. A favorite line for me is "hey, I don't deserve that!". It usually brings enlightenment.
Carol: Good for you with all your walking videos and WW Zoom classes! My goal for January is...to have a goal!. I've been all over the place with trying to stay OP. I usually do better when I don't try. Go figure.
Sally and Nat: See you next week!
Sweet Dreams to Everyone. May we live in peace.
