Good Monday ππ Afternoon, positive π₯π₯!
Yes I DID: --not get enough sleep, but awoke early and did my grocery shopping before breakfast....hmmm, maybe not the best idea. --totally forget that I had signed up for a zoom class for which the final session was this morning, while I was out shopping...oops! --thoroughly enjoy my morning oatmeal, at last! With cooked apple & craisins & cinnamon, yum!
Yes I CAN: --get some steps, probably inside, as the weather is blustery again today.
Back later! Be well! Carol

Happy Turn-the-Page Monday! Carol: I so agree shopping before breakfast AND while being overtired is dangerous. FIDO. (Forget it Drive On) Today...wearing my shorts once again as it is 83+degrees along the coast. Sweater weather returns on Wed. Trying to get motivated this afternoon. I've been really tired lately and my knees hurting a bit. Perhaps going through all these memories cleaning out some drawers in the room we are painting has got me down? A walk tomorrow should cheer me up. Picked some tangerines this morning and fed and watered my wild birdies. Need a big grocery shop soon and hope my Sweetie will help. Not OP but not in a feeding frenzy either. I had a dream last night which ended watching my Dad's old 1933 Ford pick-up roll down our street. The kicker was the license plate had my name (in script) on it. Today this is my page-a-day message... From:"100 Ways to keep your Soul Alive": "I suspect we are all recipients of cosmic love notes. Messages, omens, voices, cries, revelations, and appeals are homogenized into each day's events. If only we knew how to listen, to read the signs". --Sam Keen in The Passionate Life Listen for your own love notes. Jan

Good Morning! Love, light, blessings, and good health. Tuesday. November 17, 2020. 748 AM CST
Carol, thanks for the reminder about misplaced anger. Oatmeal sounds yummy!
Jan, your Dad told you that you can get love and attention from those near and far in a safe way. Your Mom will still enjoy the decorations. Thanks for the insight on how to communicate with MF. And the reminder we still communicate with those on the other side (and they with us). I learned yesterday a close friend that I had lost touch with died in the summer of the virus. She visited me while I was swimming laps and suggested I try harder with MF. My spinning class instructor suggested I give it a year. I will at least try those things.
Hi Sally! Hi Nat!
I need to get better about checking in. Eating out of the treat box is happening. Yes I did: walking breaks, spin, and a nice swim. I am starting to get caught up on weed eating. I will mow the whole yard once I get this project sent off and get caught up on the administrative aspects of my biz. Yes I can: healthy shopping (OP starts at the supermarket but I have a big coupon for baking supplies), weight class, yard work breaks, hopefully a nice swim. Now, must be a big girl: snail mail, email, work on projects to be sent off today, and get dressed before the supermarket as the new casual biz day does not include my old bathrobe. love light blessings janet

Good Tuesday Morning, positive π£π£!
Nat - hope all is well with you...sending healthy vibes β¨. We had some big snowflakes this a.m., not sticking so far, but kinda pretty.
Sally - bundle up and enjoy those outdoor walks π§€π§¦π§£
Jan - love that cosmic β€οΈ note from your Dad! Sweet!
Janet - yay for healthy shopping, and definitely for taking breaks for recharge!
Yes I DID: --Lots of eleventh hour brisk walking around the house, with DBF, as we both were trying to meet our Fitbit step goals...kinda fun! But probably could start a little earlier next time, LOL --Sleep well. --Start decluttering the powder room, which has a big oversized dresser that we use as a countertop/vanity. It is just overflowing with "stuff", but I made some progress! Yay! --practice cello
Yes I CAN: --get over to Old House to check on things --get steps earlier in the day --remind self it is a learning process
Be well! Carol

Hi Canners- Happy Tuesday! Jan:Feeling jealous of your shorts and tee shirt weather as I am wrapped in two sweaters, heat on and still cold! Janet: you'll decide what works best for you and MF as you journey along- trust the journey. Carol: Hope you are staying warming and full after your grocery run. I went on Monday at 6:30 am- smooth sailing which was a relief! Hi Nat: I love your FB photos of your community. Hope all is well!
I was less anxious as I adjusted to uninviting Nora and DS/DDIL for thanksgiving, better still when they decided to also skip travel to DMIL's home. As I said to DS today "I am saving my money for big fun in the future" with all of them. It's hard to let opportunities pass by- but the right thing to do.
Dusting off- moving on- what are your Tday plans-especially from a food perspective?

Happy Tuesday positive peeps! Sorry I haven't checked in, time gets away with me apparently. I've been focused on what foods to eat for prep, getting my covid test yesterday (negative), and it's clear liquids today. The surgery center has called twice and I've changed my appointment to two hours earlier. That has me starting my drinking at 5am tomorrow. I'm hoping that my several day prep foods will cut down on the amount of stuff I need to finish off tomorrow like it did last time. This time I'm having to come down from the mountain, unlike last time when I prepped at my mom and dads. Wish me luck LOL!
Waving to all, I'll catch up later! Nat

Happy Tuesday Afternoon. The gangs all here! Yea! Sally: Still shorts weather here...sorry! Ends today though and the high temps will be in the 60's for the rest of the week. Sweater weather. This very hot summer has lasted way too long. Nat: Good luck tomorrow! Carol: Cleaning out the bathroom vanity is not so bad. Most of our "clutter" there just goes in the trash. Feels so good when it's done doesn't it? Janet: Also feeling the call of baking ingredients on sale. Going to take my Sweetie with me and shop once for the next 2 weeks. They are saying to be super careful here because of the holiday crowds at the grocery stores and our Covid risk has moved to the purple tier which is the worst. Yes, I did... --walk this morning with my artist friend who I love. --gardening and hauling rainwater to my thirsty plants. --two loads of laundry hung out in the sunshine. I CAN... --put a limit on my tangerine consumption! --eat more veggies. Need to buy some frozen for the next couple of weeks. --Plan. Plan. Plan. My page a day says: "If it walks out of the refrigerator by itself, let it go". Maybe my cue to clean it out? May we be happy, healthy and live in Peace. Jan

Good Morning! Love, light, blessings, and good health. Wednesday. 11.18.2020.
Carol, brisk walking around the house sounds perfect, I do that during phone calls.
Sally, thanks for the reminder to enjoy the journey. Right now, Thanksgiving plans involve MF and a park. Plan B is just a park.
Nat, great to see you. Surrounding you in extra love, light, blessings, and good health.
Jan, your tangerines sounds lovely.
Yes I did: send off my project! Also, healthy shopping/other important errands, walk, weight class, and swim. I am donating blood this afternoon. Spin class this morning. Now, to get out this robe and into some real clothes. love, light, blessings, and good health, janet

Good Wednesday afternoon/evening positive ones! I am thankfully done with my procedure for at least 5 to 10 years (to be announced LOL). I did have a polyp they took out and sent for biopsy. Assuming it will be another small benign one. And the usual diverticulosis but nothing inflamed in there and was looking good. So I'm praying for the 10 year plan! Let me just say Propofol is a wonderful thing LOL. Out in about 15 seconds and then heard someone say you can wake up now. I was having a good dream too. Worst part as I knew it would be was putting in the IV. I have a vasovagal response and my veins just collapse. But this nurse was fantastic. Much better at it than the last one. It hurts in the hand and I've only had it in the hand. This one got it in the middle of my arm. No pain at all. She just kept saying "deep breaths, find your happy place" LOL! Glad to be done with it. I have my 10k in already so I'm relaxing this evening. Jan, I'm not sure what is going to walk out of my fridge LOL. But I was so happy to have a veggie hash at a great restaurant after the procedure. Give me my veggies now! Janet, Thanksgiving with MF in the park sounds wonderful. Sally, my TD plans at the moment are to probably cook a small turkey that I probably won't eat from, stuffing, sweet potatoes (to share with mom on Friday), roasted veggies, and pumpkin pie. I might just make a batch of some nut butter sauce (peanut or almond) for a gravy since we all like that. I'm just looking forward to stuffing Carol, yay for snowflakes! I just love when they start to fall. Our snow has melted around our house mostly. But they are opening the ski slopes starting this Friday. Means grocery shopping will be crazy soon, ugh. Yes I CAN: Just relax and get some needed rest. Waves to all, Nat

Good Morning!! Love, light, blessings, and good health. Thursday. 11.19.2020.
Nat, so glad that is behind you and lovely Thanksgiving plans.
Hi Sally! Hi Jan! Hi Carol!
Yes I did: spinning class, donate blood, purchased more provisions (veggie turkey and a case of tofu). Texas still number one and not in a good way so I have been stocking up a little. Very little law done. MF and I unclogged the bathtub drain together, took a walk, and had Tilapia with salad. He likes Tilapia due to its mild flavor. Enjoying the journey as Sally suggested. Yes I can: get more law done today. Start out by getting dressed, email, and snail mail. Weight training class, either swim or rowing machine after. Leaving the pool with wet hair in November not good so might switch from swimming to rowing machine unless I can get to the pool during the day. love light and blessings janet

Good Thursday Morning, positive π£π₯!
Nat - glad you have that procedure over & done and can enjoy real food again, LOL! (I am on a 3 year cycle, which means next year! ugh!)
Janet - yay for donating and also for enjoying the journey. Hear you on the wet hair issue...I used to spend a lot of time at the Y drying my hair after working out, felt like I spent half the day there!
Yes I DID: --walking videos for my Fitbit steps yesterday, sidewalks were a little slippery. It's warmer today. --hear from furnace guy, who will work on Old House tomorrow morning, finally! Yay! --not get enough sleep, but will do better tonight
Yes I CAN" --attend a Zoom presentation re: the virus & immune system, my alma mater is involved in the research --get outside for a walk....50s today. but was cold overnight. Imagine my surprise when I went to dump the old water from the birdbath and it came out in a solid block of ice!
Be well! Carol

Happy Thursday Evening. Carol: Maybe your birdies can take up ice skating on that rink? LOL. Nat: Glad your procedure went well. I pray for your 10 year plan too! My Sweetie and I did a 2 week grocery shop as Covid gets scarier here. We are going to have a 10 pm- 5 am curfew here in S.D starting Saturday night. I think this is a good thing but we have never been so locked down. Supermarket shelves were almost empty of paper products yet again...unfortunately, they still have donuts. Feels like March 2020 with no summer ahead. Walking tomorrow with my very careful artist friend. We both wear masks and avoid anyone sharing the sidewalk. Not OP but not gaining so will just hang in there. Hope everyone gets a good night's sleep tonight. Peace. Jan

Good Morning! Love, light, blessings, and good health. Friday. November 20, 2020. 655 AM CST
Carol bless your alma mater. NYU? Oh no to ice. Oh no. Ice skating birds? They should just fly to my backyard. In Texas. We might get ice every couple of years.
Hi Sally! Hi Nat!
Hi Jan, sorry about supermarket shelves. I have heard a run on paper products here. I am pretty stocked up here but will probably go again for Thanksgiving on Tuesday morning.
Yes I did: my outdoor class which is now without weights. We do push ups, sits ups, squats/lunges etc. Walking. Swimming. Law. Today I have an all day online seminar. Then a walk, weights, swimming. MF and I agreed just the two of us for Thanksgiving. He is very well liked and has been invited a bunch of places but neither of us feel comfortable with that. Now, get dressed. Big girl pants - check mail and seminar. love light blessings and good health, janet
