Happy Friday Evening.
Started the day out right with a walk. Drove by Trader Joe's to pick up one item and hardly anyone there. The clerk said they were likening it to a Tsunami, when the water all pulls out to sea...and then rushes in. Janet, the Tuesday before Thanksgiving is the busiest day in the grocery biz. Go Monday morning instead if you can. Beat the horrible infectious crowd. This comes with 40 years working in the industry. Came home and baked biscotti and a yummy dinner. Tomorrow is another day.
Going to bed early!

Good Morning! love, light, blessings, love, light, blessings. Saturday. 11.21.2020. 724 AM CST
Hi Jan, thanks for the pointer about the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, I will go Monday instead. Biscotti sounds good.
Hi Sally! Hi Carol! Hi Nat!
Yes I did: a day full of administrative stuff for my biz. Yuck. Still more to do, November is the busy time for a lot of deadlines and paperwork. I also made time for a couple short walks, weights, home ab circuit, and a healing swim. OP-ish. My eating needs work. We have been upgraded to red alert here, in fact gone from green to red in a matter of weeks. This cannot possibly be good. Yes I can: walk, swim, more admin stuff, law. Mass. Dinner and a movie with MF tonight. At his place. He has a TV. I do not. love, light, blessings, and good health, janet

Good Saturday noon, positive π₯π₯! πππ¦ Yesterday was action-packed for me. I drove over to Old House early a.m. where the furnace repairman finally started working. This was a relief, as I've had part of the water system shut down for 2-3 months but even so there was still a steady trickle of water (and $$) going down the drain in the basement. Of more concern, the furnace had been off and it has been getting colder at night! Anyway, while furnace man was repairing pipes in the basement, I Zoomed my Tap dance class using my phone, as there is no wifi at Old House. Then Furnace man had to go through the whole house to check and bleed the radiators in all the rooms, which meant moving some furniture and plants, so I took the opportunity to dust/wipe-down/sweep the areas near all the radiators. Things look a lot cleaner now without dust, dead leaves and cobwebs, LOL! I did some more decluttering as I went through the rooms. In the afternoon, my neighbor had a guy with a mobile sawmill setup come over to saw the logs harvested from the old walnut tree that was recently cut down by the city. I went outside to watch and got a chance to operate the log loader! My neighbor is going to store the boards in a shed to season them so that we can have some items crafted from them in the future. I think I still have sawdust in my hair... I didn't get my hike in which, unfortunately, ruined my 21 day streak on Fitbit. But felt that tree event was more important. And then I had to go grocery shopping, which I had completely put out of my mind all day. I still don't understand why my step count isn't better on the shopping trips, . I'm so exhausted afterwards! And oddly, it was not very busy in the store even though I was there at 5pm on a Friday, maybe I beat the after-work shoppers. Or maybe we'll have that tsunami on Tuesday, too! I saw 2 wild turkeys near the road yesterday, I felt like telling them, nooooo, go back to the woods!! Yes I DID: --still have trouble winding down last night but will set reminders to start earlier. And not view/surf stressful things right before bed. --WW zoom at 7:30 this morning, then drove to WW studio to weigh. Up a pound but wearing shoes vs. foam flip-flops, so, OK. Still in the free zone. --practice cello. I'm about to buy book 3 of lessons....feels like progress. Baby steps! ! Yes I CAN: --get outside for a brisk walk. It's back in the 40s. And dry. Be well! Happy Saturday evening positive peeps! Wow Carol, didn't get your hike in but sounds like a lot accomplished. Ugh on the red alert Janet. We have been in purple (our highest) here forever. Our mountain isn't as bad, though we are now seeing more cases here. One our of nice prime rib restaurants announced that 3 of their workers are positive and they are shutting down for at least 14 days. My DH told me the snow play place had to shut down as it was traced back to a community spreader. Our slopes however opened up yesterday. We will have a quiet Thanksgiving here. I need to put the turkey in the fridge tomorrow morning. We just have a little one. Need a few more groceries though. I'll be down the mountain on Monday so will probably stop in and get it then. Jan, glad you made it to TJs before the tsunami lol. I really wanted to stop there after my colonoscopy but after stuffing myself with food, I said no thanks. Just wanted to get home. Waves Sally, hope all is well with your juggling of holiday things. Janet I'll be thinking of my 6 word pandemic challenge.
Yes I CAN: Just relax tonight, no hitting 10k and no stressing about it. I'm tired. Keep the kitchen closed for the night. Log my foods (slacking today)
Have a good evening! Nat

Happy Saturday.
Yes, I did... --feed and water the birdies and pick tangerines. Delivered them to neighbors with some Biscotti on the side. Pistachio Cranberry... not too sweet but great with a cup of tea. One of my neighbors gave me a huge bag of lemons so will juice these and cook/bake lots of lemon recipes this next week. --went to pick up a new rug, paint, sawhorses, etc. Bought a Christmas gift for my Sweetie and the Hardware store. It's a small, battery rechargeable chainsaw. Just can't have too many tools. Haha. --went through a lot of my recipes and organized about half of them. This is part of my clutter hoard. Always recipes I want to try. --cooked a yummy dinner!
Janet: Hope you enjoyed your dinner and movie! If he has Netflix, the series The Queen's Gambit is good.
Grocery store will be crazy no matter the day, but just be careful everyone!
Carol: What an action packed day you had. Shopping wears me out too and it never used to. Glad your Old House is happy and warm once more. Wow, good for you walking in 40-degree weather. That sounds rather chilly to me.
Nat: I am SO glad you reminded me to take my turkey out of the freezer. It always takes longer than I think it will. Stay safe and warm.
Sweet Dreams my friends.

Good Morning!! Love, light, blessings, and good health! Sunday. November 22,2020. 933AM
Carol, so sorry about repair blues, glad you got sooo much accomplished. What a rock star you are. A brisk walk sounds lovely. I am having some repair blues of my own, garage door opener and of course, died on a weekend. Fortunately, car outside garage and door is completely closed.
Nat, yucko on purple. Red is as high as we go, we do not have purple. A quiet Thanksgiving sounds perfect.
Jan, biscotti and Queen's Gambit sound good. We watched a move called Proxima last night which we both liked and then a couple of old episodes of the Twilight Zone which were marginally okay. Due to the garage door problems I will get to the store when I get there and just deal with the crowds. I hope I do not put it off until Wednesday!
Hi Sally!
Yes I did: walk, swim, and home ab circuit. Make a loaf of bread and experimented too much. It is edible but just barely. I had never had a bad loaf of rye bread before. Oh well, sometimes my experiments turn out well. Strong rye flavor but way too chewy. I also made it to Mass. Got home late last night to a garage door that did not open. Neighbor diagnosed it early this morning and it needs a professional. But, since car is outside and door is down -- Yes I Can: walk, gym (legs). I have already made a pot of chili (in the crockpot for MF), done a home ab circuit, and dealt with mail. Now, passing by PO to mail bills on the way to the gym. Love, light, blessings, and good health, janet

Good Sunday Afternoon, positive π₯π₯!
Nat - enjoy relaxing and no stress!
Jan - I think a chainsaw is a great gift! I could sure use one now and then
Sally - hello! Where did you do your stepping today? 1/2 of mine were indoors!
Janet - Good for you trying experiments...even if not all are stellar! Some of my best dishes were not exactly what I started out to make. I will sometimes take snippets from 2-3 recipes online and mash them together ...interesting results, sometimes! Ugh, about the garage door. As you said, at least your car is on the right side.
Yes I did: --better sleep, 6 1/2 hours. This seems to be my "normal" # of hours. --up early for a short walk before WW Zoom #2. I got in about 1/2 my steps before the little misting of wet snow started (no sticking, so far). 37Β° today, but not windy. Lots of birdies at the suet...flocks of birds in our trees and skies, getting ready to migrate --yummy omelette for breakfast. --got the rest of my steps while watching virtual Mass.
Yes I can: --enjoy a quiet evening, homemade pizza for dinner (pre-baked thin crusts, with yummy homemade toppings)
Be well! Carol
