I am getting a color and cut at 9 so no early morning walk. After I shower I soak my toe but am now doing it twice a day. Yesterday I did a nice 2 mile walk through the country club taking some fall photos and taking my time. I stopped for a few minutes and a lady in a golf cart asked if I wanted a ride which was so sweet but I continued on walking home.I would like to do the same thing today because there are few times I just allow myself the time to walk by myself without being in a hurry to get here or there. We are having dinner outside at the Annex kitchen tonight but the weather is mild today so I will just bundle up appropriately. Our lows are in the 40s but it wonβt get to that until after we are gone. There is a tent and heaters. Have a good day.

Audrey thanks for the start. Enjoy the salon. I missed my walks today. Only took one short walk and didn't get in a house walk either. Happy you enjoyed yours.
Friday I shall PTMH and shop Hannafords. Thank goodness that's all I have planned. Looking forward to a laid back day.
Sweet dreams all. Prayers continue.

Audrey, enjoy your time at the salon.
Ann, have a good night.
I can do as I am able. Today I was able to stand without moving for 3 minutes --- 2 times. I was excited.
Make it a great day.

174.8 again today and that is fine...so much better than a few days ago!
It is a rainy day today so not going out. We are still set for another week without shopping, I think. Today we will probably have makhlouta (mixed grains and beans) reheated and add in some lemon and garlic to the pot for our lunch. I have been having nonfat milk and an apple cut in half with TBSP peanut butter for dinner the last couple of nights. For some reason that has been satisfying and perfect.
I will stick with Core and track non-core-food points. I may or may not walk...time will tell.
ANN: Glad you enjoyed your sleep even if part of it was on the couch! I don't envy you playing phone tag! How are LuLa's paws doing?
JUNE: My daughter's email said she will be busy...till the students leave but will try to call home to say happy to her dad on his birthday. Sounds hectic before the Thanksgiving holiday! I hope 5th gear gets you there! As for your nurse-relative with covid-19...you just know you will be there for her mentally if not in person...that you care and hope she is well soon. I am sure that giving the students an extra day will help and if they have questions it gives you an extra day to answer them.
MJ: You always sound so busy! I applaud you for doing all that you do!
SUSI: I am so excited that you will have Lily home soon and are getting all set up for her arrival! I am sorry that your dinner with Susan was postponed BUT glad that you were not unexpectedly exposed to what might be covid-19!
AUDREY: I am so sorry that Leo's teacher is a pill. I don't know what parents (grandparents) can do to make teaching better for students. I am glad you are there for Leo. I hope your long walk was beneficial and provided a bit of soothing meditation-like time to your day!
BECKY: Wise idea to have teh veterinarian send you the medicine through the mail rather than go in to buy them!
BEE: Good to see your post. Hope you are feeling better every day.
PAM: Good to see you are on track and positive!
LADONNA: I wonder how dog training works...I am guessing that Lucy will do fine as most dogs want to please humans...the trick will be that Lucy's humans may need training, too

Good morning
Audrey Thanks for the start. Very sweet of the woman to offer you a ride. Enjoy getting "dolled up" at the salon and a "date night" with your DH. How is Bob's PT progressing?
ππππππππππππππ Bee Am just buzzing with excitement for you! That's very big step in your recovery. Best news I have heard all week.
Ann Today you will make Garmin happy w/ all get the steps you will log. Anything special on the list at Hannfird's? I missed the part about you sleeping on the couch. Were you okay?
Cathy Good attitude! For whatever reason that scale can bounce a bit after a reset. Yes, it will likely be hectic for teachers & students winding up in-person classes then going to the virtual mode.
Will continue to be a support for my relative. She wishes that the general public could volunteer in the hospital a day or two. But w/ the rampant cognitive dissonance she is not sure it would help. I remind her that we come from a family of strong, resilient women.

Good morning all. Got a great sleep in last night and feel refreshed. It's all good. Temperatures are warmer today than they have been and it's getting up into the 60's which will feel good. Great for walking! Cathy great job on the weight loss. You found a good home in sticking with Core and doing your tracking. LuLa's paws are doing better and thanks for asking. June I was just tired and feel asleep. I'm feeling much better...less dizzy so no complaints there. Enjoy your pot roast Keeping your family in my prayers. I still need to fine tune my 'list' for Hannaford's. Off the top of my head I know I need produce and they have sirloin strip steak on sale so that will also come home with me Wishing all a wonderful stress free OP day. Will CBL

ππ΅ππ΅ππ΅ππ΅π
Today I woke up early and stayed up (5:30 AM). The coffee's brewed and I sat for a while with my perfect-temperature mug full and my rosary, watching the sky lighten. Today and tomorrow will be the warmest of the next week, so I need to get any outside chores done. That includes tidying up GracieTOO, AKA the YM-Mobile.
Yesterday's dentist appointment was uneventful and I'm all set until April Fool's Day (my next appt). After lunch we finished up the Zigster's room. He decided where he wanted his bed, which established the furniture layout for the rest of the room. We moved the armoire and Toots put the doors on it (we need to supply one shelf peg; we're sure we have spares around here). The Kressling helped moved the second nightstand from the garage and Toots made a minor repair to its drop leaf bracket. The closet is cleaned out of any of the Kressling's stuff; the remainder is stuff that DDIL will have to review. The stepladders are staged in K'ling2's room; changing the blinds for new ones may be on today's WannaDo List (so each boy will have gotten some attention to his space from us this month). We held off on the chicken casseroles and had pork chops instead (chicken tonight). I remembered - late in the day - to cancel the Saturday testing appts. And we ended the evening with the Seahawks/Cardinals game.
Today? Toots' disbursement from his 401K arrived in the mail yesterday, so we'll go to the bank and he'll roll it over into an IRA money market account so the check can clear. We're still waiting on the processing of my disbursement; that will be done by wire transfer since I have a (tiny) IRA money market account left from that other pension transaction three years ago. When that's done, we'll meet with the financial adviser and set up our plans for moving forward.
Besides that bank trip? Those blinds for K'ling2 and the shelf peg for the Zigster. List-making, for sure. And maybe a spreadsheet for the Advent season.
Coffee now... βοΈβοΈβοΈ... breakfast soon...
ππ¦πππ¦πππ¦πππ¦πππ¦π Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! ππ¦πππ¦πππ¦πππ¦πππ¦π
π©Russπ©Updateπ©: I e-mailed to DBabySis the synopsis of Wednesday evening's call from the Care Team (he's doing what he pleases, and going back on things he agreed to do). <meh>. And I uploaded the AL bills to JH-LTC. The package included a cover letter, a spreadsheet, three months' bills (Sept/Oct/Nov) with the appropriate line-items marked, and the pages from the AL paperwork that describe the contents of the "service packages". The person from CC-AL did not get back to me with the information I requested (why was I not surprised?). If there's any problem with how I've sent it (like they want it all split-out into separate items), I hope that they'll call me since I requested, in the cover letter, that they do so. Otherwise, I'll follow up the first week of December. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

This is a GIANT step. After sitting up to eat breakfast I could lift both the legs back into bed with no help. First time without assistance.
Yes, I am crying with thankfulness.

Bee, your progress is such wonderful news. Continue getting stronger.
Yesterday after I had finished the 103 Christmas cards we received one from someone Bob said we could take off the listπ it will be fine to add them. She retired and we werenβt quite sure where they were.
June,on a scale of 1-10 Bob said he rated physical therapy as zero. That could just be cynical him. His appointment with the neurologist is December 28 and I think he is going to use our new coronavirus strict cheer and curfew etc. to not reschedule more physical therapy. He could be such a baby π
Iβve read all the previous post was soaking my feet but doing all my typing on the phone without taking notes I cannot to any personals other than to wish you all a wonderful day.

My day is planned and tracked. In a bit, we'll walk miss LuLa then head on out to Hannaford's. The rest of the day will be low keyed. Just the way I want it Wow Audrey. Kudos for you in addressing all those Christmas cards. Bee that is such wonderful news. CeLeBrAtInG right along with you. Prayers continue as always. MJ happy that all your banking is falling into place. I'm sure you enjoyed your morning solitude...and coffee. Waving.....and will CBL.

Audrey - Enjoy the salon and dinner. Glad you could walk just for you. Glad your cards are basically done. Men in general are such big babies. Ann - Glad you slept well. Happy shopping. Glad the dizzyness has eased. Bee - That is great progress! Prayers continue Good job on the scale Cathy. Stay dry! More prayers for your nurse relative June. I think your module will be just fine. Enjoy that tea. You deserve it. MJ - Glad the dentist was uneventful. Looks like all 3 boys are getting attention to their rooms, which I am sure they all love. Glad your personal banking has all been falling into place. Glad you will leave the Russ stuff behind for a bit. The vertigo continues to ease although there was a moment at the gym when I went down on the mat that was close. I adjusted and it was fine. I have the derm at 2:40. I'm a little nervous because of how quickly this mole changed after being the same for 67 years but that's what the visit is for. I'll attend my WW workshop at 4:30. I'm planned and tracked except for lunch. I think just a sandwich and perhaps baked chips.

Work is very quiet today and I'm so in need of a day like this to just be and catch up on some little things. Not sure what we will do about Lucy yet. I do want her to get some training but do NOT want to send her away for six weeks. I'm strongly suggesting other options to Laken. Randy and I are contemplating doing a little shopping after I get off work today and maybe a meal out. Either way I will be keeping it light until the dinner meal. Audrey, your salon appt is reminding me I need to make one as well. Ann hope the Hannoford's trip is smooth sailing that steak sounds good. Bee, LOVE hearing that you are progressing in the right direction...prayers answered! Cathy, that is what I think too - sending Lucy away does nothing to prepare us. I've found some much better options ( in my opinion) but Laken is just about as stubborn as Lucy LOL June, I'm sure it would be an eye opener for many to have first hand knowledge what its like in the hosp. Cont prayers for all essential employees trying to make the best of things. MJ, happy planning with the advisor
