Good morning friends. Slept well and grateful. Going to be another nice day so I'll take advantage with a few good walks.
Yesterday I didn't finish my book, but I plan on putting that on top of my 'to do' list No real plans and loving that.

Good Morning, WW Friends ~
Happy Saturday!! We have a beautiful sunny morning, but it will cool down later today and tonight. I got a lot of things done yesterday, and yet left some undone. I have already started this morning by taking everything down in my bathroom and bringing up cleaning supplies and rugs/towels/shower curtain, etc. in a different color scheme. I will get that done today, and it will be up until after the new year. I will be adding some Christmas hand towels, etc. later on. I will leave changing the bed until tomorrow.
I bought a treat when I grocery shopped - a loaf of Pepperidge Farms Cinnamon Raisin bread. When we were going out to lunch on Sunday, I frequently had a ham & cheese omelet with cinnamon raisin toast and LOVED it! So when I saw the bread on sale, I grabbed one, double bagged it and put it in the freezer. So this morning's breakfast was a fruit bowl of orange and banana, Cinnamon Raising toast, and bacon. It was delicious and hit the spot!
Last night was pizza and salad night at our house. DH was hungry for pizza, and he chopped the salad and went and picked up the pizza. It really did hit the spot! I show a slight gain this morning, but that's pretty normal after eating that way. Not sure yet what today will bring, but I will probably eat something zero points for lunch to balance off the 'heavier' breakfast (which was worth every point!).
Ann ~ I hope to get out to walk today as well..... and my book is at the top of my to-do list (after the house). Glad your sister is doing well.
Judy ~ Hope you are enjoying your time at the Cape. You're staying there all week, right?
Pam ~ Thanks for the peek into your gardening world. You are so very good at that. My grandparents had a large garden when I was little, but I didn't have to do any of the work. You really do use all that you grow!! Glad your DH is staying out of the garden - that is quite an accomplishment!
I think I'll try to get my work done early and have what feels like some free time later on.
BBL. Make a great day!

Sue I absolutely LOVE that bread. I have it with a sausage patty...either Carl's breakfast sausage or Jimmy dean...a little maple syrup on top and man is that good. I can't eat bacon, but I get it's good that way as well. Pizza does it to me as well...but as you say...WELL worth it. What's the point of not having what you really enjoy every once in awhile? ?? You have a good plan to balance it out with a 0 point meal. I till haven't gone for that walk. I did 3 loads of laundry, all folded and put away, made hummus and applesauce. Now I want to sit and read and if the walk happens...well it happens...if not there is always tomorrow. Waving and will CBL Still haven't planned my day. Supper is up for grabs. I did have a cheese and veggie omelet and half Bay's English muffin for breakfast and lunch was my soup with the other Half with laughing cow cheese on top and a honeycrisp apple.

Good morning friends!
Well, I spoke too soon. When I got up this morning, DH proudly told me that he had already moved the sprinkler in the garden to a new spot and turned it on. I begged him to tell me he was kidding, but he was not. When I saw the mud and dirt on both his Darko shoe and the regular one, I lost it. I was so angry I am sure steam was coming out my ears. I used a bad word I NEVER say when I asked if he was $@^!* crazy! The infection in his foot that took 6 weeks of IV antibiotics to clear up was caused by a bacteria called pantoea, commonly found in garden dirt. I was so angry I cried. After I walked with Debbie and blew off steam, then cooled off with a cup of coffee in the green room, I was able to come in and act civil. It took nearly an hour to get all the caked dirt off his shoes, wipe them as clean as I could and then sprayed some precious Lysol on them until they were wet. Now I am depressed and worried that it will get infected again. Men!!!
I am chilling with a cup of I Love Lemon tea and half-watching the LSU-Arkansas game. Between all the players that left for the NFL and Covid, this does not appear to be a good year for LSU. I have several small chores on my list, but plan to take it a bit easy today after 2 days of hard work.
Breakfast was yogurt, blueberries and seeds and 1/4 of the remaining sweet potato cinnamon roll. Lunch will be gazpacho and a sandwich. For dinner, we will get takeout from our favorite local restaurant, Hottails. I will have some form of shrimp but haven't decided whether to get grilled shrimp and veggies or splurge on a "half & half" with fried shrimp and either catfish or frog legs. I'll see what sounds good before we order.
Ann - It sounds like your sister is doing well. Thanks for the reminder that I haven't called my sister in a while. Re: the WW updates, does your phone automatically update new versions of apps? The changes to WW are pretty subtle so the new program may be there, but you haven't noticed. I forwarded an email I got that talks about some of the changes, in case you didn't get it.
Sue - I love the way you make little decor changes with the changing of the seasons and holidays.
Judy - I'm guessing you are busy sorting through things at the Cape. Remember: Slow and steady wins the race!

Thanks Pam I did get your email. Yes they are subtle indeed. Can't get the sleep tracker to work but that's ok. My main concern was program changes but seems like it's just changes to the app.
Praying DH foot does not get infected. I can surely feel your frustration. Sending soothing vibes and hugs your way.
