I bought a fresh turkey breast yesterday. It is marked use by 11/30 or freeze. Now I am going back and forth - I will use on 11/26 but wondering if that is too long in the refrigerator - why can't I just trust the store? Grateful for any feedback Marie

For a turkey breast, I would likely freeze it, then put it in the fridge on November 23 or 24. It should surely be defrosted again by November 26. If it is still slightly frozen, you can wrap it in a heavy waterproof bag (if it's not already in heavy plastic wrapping) and immerse in cold water for a short period.
You could probably get away with leaving it in the fridge the whole time, but it's up to you.

If it says it good till 11/30 why would it go bad by 11/26? Am I missing something?

I would tuck it into a cold corner of the fridge and use it on Thanksgiving Day.

If it's good until November 30th just stick it in the back of the fridge until ready to use.

This is the best answer to the question. Experience supersede so many things.
