Mj Hope that her family will look after the DaBIgSis. Can the kidney dissolve on its own? Nice thought. The CC-AL staff might enjoy the candy bars as a thank you for dealing with Russ.
Glad that you could save the meeting with your quick thinking.
Did you have too many thoughts chasing around your head last night?

We had a lunch catered in - chicken salad wraps, pasta salad, cucumber salad, brownies and chips. Not exactly op but tasty. I did skip breakfast Will keep it light tonight and include a walk. Did not get one Monday evening as I had an appt n town after work. I did not stay in town and shop as originally planned because I realized I'd be driving home alone in the pitch dark and I don't see too well at night. Saving Hamrick's for another time. Audrey, I always roast my turkey n the oven so I have the juice for the dressing. That was some turkey your son brought over! June, Hope you find just what you want to cook for Thanksgiving! I know it will be tasty You and R make a great team! Susi, I bet you are right that venison was on the table for the first settlers. Excited for you and Lily:) I'll check out the link at home later. Thanks for sharing! Ann, good luck shopping. The turkey breast sounds great and so do the brisk walks. Great job Becky, good luck shopping to you too. I love turkey and it is so point friendly. I like to eat it right out of the oven as that's when it is best. So tender and juicy. Mine has a tendency to dry out over time. I save left overs for sandwiches, pot pies which my family loves and soups. MJ, fingers crossed that the no news is good news for Lorraine. Nice gift for the AL and help for the YM fundraiser. LOL on Toots drinking...not to be confused with Russ's drinking LOL Cathy, so sorry about your car battery. That's a great idea for the NH's! I'm so fortunate that mom is able to care for herself in her home. Her health is better than she thinks it is. She worries so about the least little thing but she is so blessed.

All is well in Beeville. Rehab was pushy and productive.
Never heard of a dry brine either
Going look at Lily's story.

Back from shopping and 'tickled pink' to be home. I am amazed at how the clerks working can keep their masks on all that time. My heart goes out to them. Both Hannaford's and Walmart were busy. That being said, the lines to the registers weren't bad at all and people in there kept their distance for which I was most grateful. After I do a few more online duties I plan on shutting down the desktop and relaxing. Bee so happy that all is well in 'Beeville' Prayers continue. Becky thanks. I try to balance out my points with walking. Sometimes I do come up short on the steps but NEVER on the points LOL. I am not fond of turkey soup. I will use leftovers for a pot pie, turkey chili or sandwiches. I have a few more online duties to complete before shutting down the desktop and relaxing. Will CBL

Update on Laraine: She called Toots. She's very laissez-faire about the whole thing. Her biggest complaint was the food, and in particular that they wouldn't let her (an insulin-dependent diabetic) put sugar in her coffee. She knows that she has to go back but no idea about when (and the first appt is supposed to be tomorrow). Fortunately, her DD will take over. But that is unfortunate, as well, isn't it?

Susi I can't wait to see pictures of Lily.
Ann I did find a good bit at Walmart today but will still need to hit HEB tomorrow for meat. I don't buy much meat at Walmart and I wanted to wait until our SS checks are direct deposited tonight to buy meat tomorrow. Walmart wasn't near as crowded as I expected. We were probably in and out in under 30 minutes.
June I don't plan on making many desserts LOL. I make a refrigerated dessert that Kenneth always likes. I told him it would be a small light dish of it now and will make a bigger one for him at Christmas.
Cathy Sorry the battery was dead this morning. I heard Lebanon was under another lockdown but I didn't know you could only drive on certain days of the week. Our weather is confused. It is 82 degrees this afternoon but should be in the 50's by morning. Thanks for the good wishes for my knee.
Thanks Susi. We always buy groceries on Mon,Wed and Fri at HEB and sometimes we have to go to Walmart in between because they have things we can't get at HEB. They are only this busy because kids are out of school and both stores will be closed on Thursday. The trips don't usually take very long. What a wonderful story about Lily and she looks so adorable and full of love. I know you are excited to get her.

MJ Great the Kressling boys made the honor roll. They are having trouble in Texas getting the kids to always log in virtually and therefore some are failing.Glad Toots is feeling better. I'm glad Laraine has someone looking after her.
Ann I'm glad you got a hood walk in. I walked this morning before we left for shopping. I'm hoping just going for one longer walk a day will help the knee. So far it has.
LaDonna Your catered lunch sounds good. I like turkey but Kenneth does not so it's always a scramble to come up with something. Also my oven doesn't work so can't bake one.
Bee I'm so glad all is well in Beeville. Texas actually has a town called Beeville. It's always good when rehab is pushy and productive at the same time.Hang in there.
Ann I was wondering if you always used your 23 dailies. Some days I have a little trouble getting there but not much under. I may start trying more to get them in because I have been hungrier the last couple of days.

Becky happy the one walk is agreeing with your knee. I allow myself 28 daily points on maintenance. That being said, most days are 26-27 unless it's pizza ir pasta day. I basically eat the same rotation of a few breakfasts and lunches. Only meal that varies is supper. I also end my day with a glass of wine. That system works for me...that and my daily weigh in.
