moonriver, Denise, I am well. It is rainy and cool today and rain tomorrow. We should be dry for Thanksgiving and in the 50s. Have fun cooking for the neighbor. What’s on the menu?

Thanks for the start, Chele. Did you and Iggy go to the turkey store for a fresh bird? How is the PF and the allergies? Any update on the covid status in the family?
Kathy, I saw a book on the TJ Maxx website called Outlander Kitchen. I'll bet that has some old timey recipes in it. The TN men's basketball coach and several players and staff tested positive. TN women were supposed to play FAMU on Friday but FAMU has canceled their entire season. Have you heard anything else from the basketball world? TN-Vandy game this weekend has been postponed but it has something to do with other games that had to be rescheduled than positive cases on either team. Although our summers are busy with tourists, I think from now through the first of the year is the worst. We get to exhale in January and into March when we have few tourists. Maybe they will make 60 the cutoff for early administration of the vaccine. If DM gets it and you and DS don't, you still won't be able to take her anywhere out of risk of getting it yourself.
How is Bob doing, Linda? I hope everything went well and he wasn't groggy. Can you put Micki's insulin in a cooler with ice or ice packs to make sure it stays cold while the flooring is being installed? I saw that article about the CV-19 mutation. I wonder how that will affect the vaccines that are being developed.
Becky, LOL on Scooter not being malnourished. The dog definitely has her own mind. Sorry the knees have been such a pain and you are having to drug and ice them. I'm not surprised on HEB. I'll bet it will be even worse if you have to go tomorrow, which I hope you won't.
Enjoy your time off, Liz. Hope Zoe is making progress.
Denise, at least the election drama is over there. How is your census at the hospital right now?
I've spent a lot of time on MG things this morning but got more hours entered. I did find out we now have 2 long time members who are moving out of state and that will hurt unless we get several new people in. I haven't had energy to do much today but did a couple loads of laundry and did my rowing machine workout. Hopefully I'll have more energy tomorrow. I'm breathing a little better today, so that's helping.

Linda, how did everything go today?
Karen, did you make it to the gym? Lucky you on all the tourists. Ohio is supposed to have the vaccine by Dec 15, but I don’t know how they are going to let people know if they can get it.
Kathy, I am not going to go to a chain for my glasses as I, too, have high index lenses. The one I have in mind is a local business. Are there still going to be football games on Thursday?
Becky, did you only do one walk today? How are the knees today?
Liz, I hope you are at home enjoying some doggy cuddles.
We picked up the bird from the turkey store. All their turkeys are free range, anti biotic free, vegetarian fed and organic. We are going to freeze half of it. We got there at 2 minutes to 7 am, the opening time and they were already serving people. We managed to nreeze in a d out which is a first. They also had restocked my favorite Tony Packo’s mustard relish. Love that stuff!
Enjoy the rest of your day.

Karen, you posted while I was typing and texting. The nephew in law and the 3 yr old grand nephew have the virus but are still asymptomatic. The PF started hurting after my bike workout yesterday, so I am resting staying off the foot as much as possible today. I am glad you are breathing better today. I giess you skipped the gym. Wise choice.

Karen, that cookbook sounds interesting. I'm sure you'd love some haggis! I bet it has some good breads and other things in it too. I saw it in the library as an ebook, so I may have to check it out to see. I didn't realize your area had so many tourists this time of year. We should be able to visit more with DM once she gets the vaccine since we won't have to worry about giving it to each other. As far as taking her places, you're right that it won't help until we all get it. DS is 58, so even 60 won't help her. I think it's going to be a few more months at least. Dabo has really been pitching a fit about FSU not playing the Clemson game. I'm wondering why Clemson allowed a player with symptoms to practice and travel with the team. I know I'm biased, but I have to side with FSU on this one! Chele, that's good to support a local business. We have a good optician near the university and an excellent one downtown. The downtown one used to be connected to my optometrist, but they separated into their own business. They aren't cheap though, but I guess with high index none of them are. I was wondering on the Thursday games too. I just looked it up and I only see one college game this Thursday - New Mexico vs Utah State, so not exactly the big leagues.
Waving to everyone. Have a good day.

Chele, I went to the gym on my way home from Osteo yesterday. I'll go on Friday. Sorry about the PF. Have you tried these? Happy Feet. I have a couple pair and wore them a lot pre-surgeries. I really need to get back into them.

Thanks for the start Chele.
Linda I hope all went well with Bob's endoscopy.
Karen Scooter will do things if it's her idea. Today the winds have been gusty so she has stayed in more than I have seen her in awhile.I just took one longer walk today before we went to Walmart and it seems to be helping. Unfortunately we do have to go to HEB since I didn't see any meat at Wally I wanted and I don't buy much meat there. They weren't as busy as I thought so maybe we will hit HEB between crowds tomorrow.I pick out what I need and Kenneth picks out what he wants then we combine baskets then at HEB he checks out while I go to the car.
Chele I did do just one slightly longer walk this morning and so far it has helped.I'm sorry about the 3 yo having Covid.

.DH got through endo well...nothing exciting, no changes except no threatening stomach polyps removed....Looks like do not eat too much and lose weight might be it..but dr did not say that. No follow up. Sat In the car 2.5 hours like taking Micki to the vet for curbside. ...started quite late, took only ten minutes after setting up, then recovery waking and seeing dr takes time. Kind of nerve wracking by two hours with no word...finally an update.
settled him, fed him ice cream, took his clothes to dry cleaner and put mine in wash, and am sitting home tired.
he wanted Mac and cheese for supper. So it was be either Panera or frozen Marie Callender. It was panera...not very good!
He is in the throat soothing mode. I am in the fall down and let me stare at the wall mode...flooring tomorrow morning. But I made the cranberry sauce for us and another for DB.
