LaDonna sounds like you have the perfect Thanksgiving dinner planned outside with a few family members. Nice that your brother will be spending it with you mom. Oh I bet you can't wait to see miss Lucy. Bet it's lonely there without her. Happy to say my phone calls have been made. We had a lot of catching up to do LOL. Now problems of the world are settled Completed all the odds and ends that I wanted to get through. I forced myself to do it all. Now I can sit and relax. It's perfect walking weather. I saddled up Carl and miss LuLa and we headed out and completed a 2.7 mile walk. Now it's time for that coffee. I too feel blessed being a part of this intimate group.

Cathy, thank you so much for posting the pictures of Lily. Congratulations to both of you, Susi! La Donna, I thought 28 Summers was a wonderful relaxing book. I like her writing. I hope Lucy does well with the trainer. Lily Belle had a huge accident in the computer room sometime during the night. I just cleaned it up but will go over the area more times. At least it did not hit the Christmas gifts. I think I walked her a bit too early yesterday at 3 p.m. Bob normally walks her at 5 but I am getting dinner ready at that time. MJ and Toots, have the best trip ever! So well deserved. Cathy, my weight has stayed the same for three days. I will work harder after this weekend. I think I am eating enough to maintain and not gain but it is not where I want to be. Congratulations on the scale going down. Just listened to a scam call on land line as I typed. Said I made a $379 order on Amazon and to call an 800 number if it was incorrect. So the caller doesn't know that Amazon does not make personal phone calls to a number not affiliated with my account We keep the landline so certain people do not know our cell phone numbers.

Goood afternoon
So glad that I scooted over to the NH for a window visit. Visit gave Mom a little lift. Her back has been hurting & I could see it on her face. I sat in my car a little bit and shed a few tears of gratitude. How lucky am I to have my mom? I am truly thankful. I dropped off a card & a few treats for mom at the front desk. The receptionist said that she was sorry that I it had started to sprinkle. I told her that I was so happy to be able to visit mom. In the old NH location we had to stand near the enclosed electrical units with signage that read basically touch this and die. And we had to shout since her room was onthe second floor.
I feel so very blessed.
And I am feeling darn near giddy. My 5th gear has put npme ina great place. My last two weeks of the semester will be much closer to a normal workload. π€

Sorry about the accident and the scam, Audrey. Some people have little to do.

Yes, count me as happy to be part of the merry bunch of "sisters" at heart!
Susi What an adorable dog. Can not wait to hear the stories.
Mj Awww..... sus has a heartwarming story about Toots. Enjoy every single moment. The Battle Hymn of the Republic is one of my favorites. When I was part of the All Ohio Youth Choir we needed our performance inthe Oh State Fair arena with that song. Standing ovationn every time.
LaDonna I can no text imagine how empty your hause seems without Lucy. Enjoy your Thanksgiving gathering.
LOL. I did find the gallon baggy with frozen turkey or chicken. Happy to be able to use it up.
Bee πbeeville is gets a good rating on TripAdvisor. The entry reads one of a kind!

Sunshine as snow melts. Planning, tracking, hydrating with water, house walking and stretching all continue. The turkey will go in the oven in the morning. Iβll make the cranberry salad this afternoon. A quiet afternoon ahead. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

June Thanks. I did find a ham steak for lunch tomorrow and ground beef for a dish we make that lasts several nights for plenty of leftovers. It was a zoo in there but I found Kenneth a register to check out that did not have a line.
Audrey Kenneth loves peach cobbler. I have never made it but when we used to go to the buffet in my hometown he would always get that with soft serve ice cream as one of his desserts. I'm glad Rachel called you. I hope you are feeling much better today.
MJ LOL on the stubborn streak. I hope you had a safe trip to Woodloch. It sounds like such a fun retreat for you and Toots and you both deserve a break.
Audrey I saw plenty of turkeys at HEB but usually they have more ham steaks to choose from. Kenneth won't eat turkey so I didn't have to look for that.
Cathy WTG on being back to your lowest. We don't have enough room in the refrigerator to go less. We go to HEB 3 times a week and on Friday we will buy enough for 3 days.
I also feel blessed and thankful to be included in this group of you fine ladies.

Ann I agree on waking up refreshed. Scooter decided she was hungry at 2:15 this morning and woke me up bouncing her empty bowl on the floor. Then at 6:00 when I got up to plug in the coffee she was hungry again. I don't give her much dry kibble at a time because she usually doesn't eat much but she has been staying outside more because of the lovely weather so I guess she decided to take advantage.
I'm glad all is well in Beeville. Continued prayers for you Bee.Hope you are able to take a few more steps today.
Susi Your Lily looks so adorable.NCIS was different last night but I enjoyed it. I haven't watched FBI yet. I hope the cats like Lily.
LaDonna I'm glad you can get together outside tomorrow. That seems to be what they are suggesting. I know you must miss Lucy. Even when they are rambunctious they are still ours. We did get the rest of our groceries today. Even going a little earlier it was like a zoo but thankfully no long lines to checkout. Enjoy your day tomorrow.
I'm glad the 3 of you enjoyed your walk. It was too windy to walk this morning so I walked in the house but it turned out so beautiful this afternoon I was able to get an outside walk in as well.
Audrey I'm sorry about Lily Belle's accident. I received a scam call like that a few weeks ago. I was in HEB and I couldn't hear them really well and when I asked if it was about the store card(not the regular Amazon Prime card)he hung up. The only reason I answered it was it was made from my same area code. After I came home just to make sure I checked my account and of course nothing was wrong. We don't have a land line anymore so everyone has my cell number.
June I'm glad you were able to visit your mom and that it lifted her spirits. You are blessed to still have your mom. I'm glad your last 2 weeks will be more normal.

Lol Becky. LuLa only wakes us up if she has to go....Rachel used to wake us up when she wanted to eat. They all know how to get their point across.
