Welcome to the Clutter Patrol, formerly CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving!
I am so thankful for my Clutter Patrol friends. We’ve been through a lot this year!
Ruth - please wish the Facebook CBers a Happy Thanksgiving from me. Found this in Senior Center newsletter:
“This year. It’s been hard and heavy and confusing. It’s been exhausting and frustrating and heartbreaking. And yet, I’ve learned so much about gratitude. About being thankful for things I once took for granted. For smiles and hugs and handshakes. For gatherings with friends and memories made with loved ones. For the little things that were really big things all along.”
and
Make this a memorable Thanksgiving Day – not because it’s happening during this pandemic – but because it is happening despite this pandemic.
It’s going to be a quiet day. I’ll enjoy my dinner earlier than if I was at DBs. Enjoy your dinners.
Trash day delayed, I have time to put a few extra bags from the garage in my tote. I still have things I can get rid of in the normal trash, just leaving the big stuff for eventual big trash pickup.
Rainy morning, it’s going to be in the 50s today. I’ll get a walk in this afternoon.
Stay safe everyone.

HAPPY TANKSGIVING!!! I hope everyone has an enjoyable day. Of course for all of us it will be a different day but I am very thankful for my family and the fact that everyone is healthy. I’m also thankful for each of you. We are all a work in progress for our decluttering but I have learned things from you and appreciate the fact that you understand me.
Joyce, have a great day and that is so true about what was posted in the Senior Center newsletter. Our trash day is Friday but won’t be till late tomorrow afternoon or maybe Saturday morning so I will have extra time to get rid of some more things.
Hope Ruth and Martha both have a great day.
We are leaving in about an hour to head up to DS#1 house. I have the cooler packed and everything ready so once DS#2 gets here we will head out. It was supposed to rain all day but it has stopped for now, maybe they changed the forecast.

Happy Thanksgiving to each and every one of you!!!
Joy, have a wonderful day. Still praying for a negative test for you. Nice to be able to get a lot of stuff gone!
Dottie, safe travels. Enjoy your time with family and hug those grands!!
Martha, have a wonderful day!
Everything you said and more Joy!!! We are going to start lunch prep soon. I need to wrap a couple presents for Mara. The 1 we got her and the ones that older DD had delivered here for her! Stan decided he’s going to make the turkey breast in the AirFryer this year. He was pleased with how the chicken came out the other day so he’s going to make the turkey breast! I have the table set (both ends) but need to start the dressing soon.
Have a wonderful day all.

Happy Thanksgiving!
I'm thankful for.... this board and the warm welcome I received from new friends - Joy, Ruth & Dottie. having a job during this covid madness. being healthy. reconnecting with friends.
DH turned off my lamp this morning so was able to sleep in. I was too tired last night to bake pie and tarts. Pie is cooling off, soon to head to get chilled. I'm not sure when I'll bake the tarts but sometime this weekend. In awhile, I'll start getting the rest of the feast ready - yams, smashed taters, gravy, stuffing, green beans. Thinking ahead to turkey sandwiches, need to make some zucchini relish to go with it.
Since I can't work tomorrow, I think I'll be working in spare room. #1 will be putting new clean laundry away along with the piles from previous. I am sure I will be adding to the donate pile. Then I will work on going thru a box of pictures.
Sending big squishy (((hugs))) to all.
Love~ m
