Happy Thanksgiving! We’re watching the eerily quiet Macy’s parade. I hope you all have a wonderful and peaceful holiday. Ann, good thing it is only one day because we started the day with leftover pizza for breakfast. 😍. We will eat about 2 pm. Otherwise, today is declared a day of rest, football, reading and no packing and cleaning out the house!

Happy Thanksgiving, WW Friends ~
I am just now getting on the computer. I got up early and enjoyed my coffee and news and when DH got up I baked cinnamon rolls and cooked bacon for a wonderful breakfast!! We are already planning to do it again on Christmas.
I totally enjoyed my trip out yesterday. I dropped off my bag of 'stuff' and then shopped and found a perfect birthday card. She doesn't know it yet, but since VBF's birthday is next Monday, I will take her gift and card with me to meet her at WW on Saturday. I would prefer to give her her gift over a lunch or coffee, but that isn't possible at this time. When I got home and put everything away it was pouring rain and continued the rest of the day. So no walk for me, but apparently the getting out of the house filled that bill for me mood-wise.
I went to Meijer and did just fun shopping since I had plenty of groceries. I bought a package of cinnamon rolls and restocked our candy cupboard and got Lemon Fiber One bars and some Gingerbread belVita biscuits along with a bag of serving size bags of Skinny Pop and restocked our Diet Coke. A couple of grocery items found their way into my basket, but mostly it was things that make me smile.
Detroit did a special broadcast of our parade and it was so well done!! There were tapes of bands playing on the streets of Detroit interspersed with floats stationary with performers, and clips from last year (and a few from the year before) and it was all put together so well. I watched the pre-parade show from 8-9 and the actual (virtual) parade from 9-12. That philosophy of "feeling as good as you make up your mind to" worked for me today as I have reminded myself over and over again how much I miss the parade and how much I was looking forward to it today (and it worked).
Ann ~ I had to LOL at your pumpkin pie breakfast. I thought DH and I were the only ones who started celebrating with breakfast, but apparently not. Hope you enjoyed your parade half as much as I did mine.
Judy ~ I am sure you will have some sad feelings about the house, but you have so many wonderful memories from there - and you know it is the best thing. Having your aunt reinforce that is just frosting on the cake. Glad you're taking the day off. We are around here too.
Pam ~ Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
We had a great idea. Since we have enough food for at least three meals that is all precooked and just ready to heat up, we're going to serve our plates and warm them and not cook all the food as it will have to be reheated again as leftovers when we eat it. We are extremely pleased with the box that he brought home from Kroger. Everything was "Chef made" and in individual dishes - and the whole meal is packed into a 24 x 14 x10 box with handles. We'll definitely do this again. Then there is PIE!! The pumpkin came with and we have small lemon meringue in the freezer (as that was what I usually take to our niece's house). DH just mentioned at half-time he will remove the drumsticks and we'll package them separately for another meal :-)
BBL. Make a great day!!

Dinner was a great success with a lot of leftovers. The turkey was wonderful and very generous homemade portions of all the veggies. I couldn’t have done better😀. Our cran-Apple crisp us in the oven now warming up to serve with a dollop of vanilla ice cream.
Ann, I saw that your Yves Rocher products are all 50% off now. Isn’t that your brand? I was searching for a nice moisturizer for my dry mature winter skin and it popped up. Which cream do you like?
Sue, your day sounds great. We just watched Hillbilly Elligy on Netflix. I had read the book and liked it. Good story but very sad in parts.
Have a good night all.

Sue sounds like you and DH had the perfect day and meal. Your fun shopping sounded fun 😁.
Judy yes I go between anti age global day and night to the riche creme. I also love their pur arnica hand cream and hand exfoliating oil and light legs fresh gel and foot cream with lavendar. Body washes are also great. Hope you find something you like.
Time to read. I took a wonderful nap.
Pam hope you and yours enjoyed a great holiday.
Sweet dreams 🙏💤❤

Dear friends,
Happy Thanksgiving! We had a great day with lots of laughter, noise and food. I am exhausted tonight. Will try to get in a good post tomorrow. Sounds like all of you had a good holiday, too. Counting my blessings tonight.
