We are grocery shopping after breakfast today Bob will take the remaining boxes to the mini storage. He finished putting the lights up yesterday. Iβve started wrapping and organizing gifts and will continue to do that today since I did almost all of the laundry yesterday.I also moved all of the China and itβs still a bit early to start baking and freezing so wrapping seems to be the best thing to do especially if I can watch football while I do it.The hardest part is trying to get up off the floor. We are having steaks with sugar snap peas and salads tonight for dinner to take a little break from the Thanksgiving food. What are your plans for the weekend?

Thanks for the start Audrey. Nothing set on stone for tomorrow. There are a few things I could use at Walmart and may go to the larger one as they have a better selection. While there we'll pick up a few toys for tots as they always have Marines outside collecting.
Sweet dreams.

I've read the Fri posts but I'm exhausted and my feet are killing me but the tree is up. It looks so pretty. I have about an hours worth more of things to do and I'm finished. Fri was an OP day as for as eating and lots of activity. I hope to repeat that on Sat and Sun. Sweet dreams my friends

Today I will: track every BLT on ITB, focus on power foods/Core, hydrate, remain positive
It i great to be back online. I have a review to write and then more books to read. I am behind but hoping to catch up at some point in time...maybe? No big news but looking forward to talking to our daughter this afternoon and our son and his family tomorrow.
MJ: Glad you are feeling peaceful.
AUDREY: Sorry you didn't hear from Rachel. I hate not having the scale work OR thinking that it is broken when it is not moving! I am with you on the reset and get it back off and I want to lose even more than the couple pounds that found me.
SUSI: I have been wondering how Lily was doing and how the other animals were adjusting. Sorry Frankie and Lily had a tiff. Hope it all settles down soon! How old is Lily?
JUNE: Your turkey dinner sounds divine! Glad you were able to see your mother.
ANN: Good job only being up .2 pounds. Enjoy putting the Christmas decorations up.
PAM: What kind of virtual workout do you do?
BECKY: You are a good daughter to have taken your mother to shop on Black Friday!
LADONNA: Glad you enjoyed the gathering and all the tasty food!
BEE: Beeville is you...here I thought it was where you live but guess you do live within your body

I'm watching the sky lighten up over the lake and saying my morning prayers.
It has been a different kind of retreat this year, but no less precious.
We suspect that some of what we are sharing will be even more different at Thanksgiving 2021, so we are making sure to make the most of Thanksgiving 2020.
In a very mindful, health-conscious, socially-distanced Woodloch way.

Good morning all. Another great night of sleep.
MJ happy that you are enjoying being at Woodloch. Nothing like being on a lake to experience peace.
CAthy also happy you are back online. Have fun catching up with your family.
Bee each day seems to bring you more and more healthier. Prayers for you continue as well.

Thanks for the start Audrey. I had only one present to buy this year and I just need to wrap it. Sounds like you are well ahead of the season. Ann - Glad you had a great night of sleep. Hope Walmart isn't too crowded. LaDonna - I'll bet the tree is lovely! Glad you had an OP day. Bee - Hopefully you continue to get stronger and stronger. Cathy - So happy your internet is back. Enjoy talking to your children and grandchildren. Lily is almost 5 MJ - Everything is different this year and we may never get back to what we considered normal. Enjoy your time. Lily is settling in. They say it takes 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to adjust to a routine and 3 months to feel at home. We got in a 45 minute walk this morning after I fed the ferals. She will meet her weekday caretaker early this afternoon. Off to spin now. At 2, I have a Friendsgiving dinner. Carol is sadly having stomach issues and is not up to going. I put away the Thanksgiving decorations and start on the Christmas outdoor stuff, hopefully finishing up tomorrow.

Gooooood morning
I read the personals from late Friday. LOL. I answered in my mind. . . but then my iPad was twitchy and did not accept what I tried to type. Thus, I surrended. Apologies.
LaDonna LOL. I am really curious to hear what lil treasures you found at that local shop, Hammrick's.
Audrey Thanks for the start. You are so organized with your Christmas preparations. A girl after my own heart. When I use to send out Christmas cards, I would address them during the final examination periodssince those were two hours long and I had less than 60 to send. Never was much of a wrapper though. My mom could create very beautiful packages though. I did discover though that the dollar stores have very pretty, decorative boxes for special items that are small.
Bee Am singing the song lyric "day be day, day by day" as I celebrate your outlook plus PT efforts and results.
Ann We must finally have a touch of that sunshine that you have been seeing. Will Walk in the sunshine along with you today.
Susi How was day threeof the-new-pup-in-the-house adventure? Sorry to hear about your DS's stomach issue. Enjoy your gathering.
Cathy I imagine that those reviews start to pile up when your Internet is not available. I am currently reading a large coffee table book on NASA's first 50 years. I suspect that one is supposed to look at the pictures rather than read it since the print it very small andsome pages have a red background. It's ok because I skim through lots of the technical mumbo jumbo. Enjoy your weekend virtual visits.
Mj Enjoy every moment at Woodloch. Yiu andTootsdeserve the break. These are times to realize the value of cherishing people, places, and goodness. For myself, I suspect that 2021 will bring changes just based on my age and of my love ones. Collectively we are in for a rough go as the consequences of populism, globalism, and cognitive dissonce continue to manifest.

Susi sounds like Lily is adjusting well. It does take them time to feel settled. So sorry that Carol isn't up to par. Enjoy your Friendsgiving dinner.
We decided against going to Walmart. With the holiday I totally forgot that it's a 'weekend' and with it being the day after Black Friday...I'll gladly pass and make due with what we have.
June I'll enjoy walking side by side virtually in sunshine. I once worked in gift wrap......I never thought I was good at it, but people always told me I did a great job LOL.
My day is planned and tracked. I balanced checkbook and just wrote out the final payment on our car loan. Now THAT'S a great feeling.....
Will CBL

Saturday's goals
Do school in the morning. (Accomplished) Start cleaning my study. Am at the stage of the semester where some items now can be filed away. LOL. . . Get over the wierd feeling that I have more free time. I only spent 3 hours in my study today. My academic "to do" list looks insanely small. No time-consuming modules left to development and revise! What writing tasks remain either can be built using existing materials or need proofreading. Next week is the last week of regular classes and the following is exam week. LOL. . . I will need to switch over personals stuff that has been delayed until "end of the semester."
Okay dokey... am now singing "I'm walking on sunshine and don't it feel good!"
Watch Ohio State play. Count my blessings.

Spent a leisurely morning drinking coffee and reading. After posting I'll finish my chores. Not sure what's on tap after that. I have some ideas floating in my head but have not finalized anything. Just had an OP breakfast and OP meals will continue. Audrey, LOL I can totally relate to getting off the floor. Hope your shopping trip goes well. Ann, We always donate to the Christmas project at our church that helps needy families from our community. We plan on visiting Lucy next weekend. I'm still finding it hard to believe she's not here. I may kidnap her next week Congrats on paying off the car! Bee, what are you doing to pass the time? hope you have some good reading hugs and prayers. Susi, hope the transition will go as smoothly as possible for Lily. I think she will soon come to realize she is a lucky girl! Friendsgiving sounds fun. Hope Carol gets well soon. Becky, Fond memories on your mother and black Fri shopping. I've never been one to participate n that. I just don't have the patience for crowds, standing in long lines, etc. Oh I've been before - twice I think. Early into marriage my SIL talked me into going with her and we had a nice time but that was YEARS ago. A few years back Randy and I got up super early to get a deal on a flat screen TV but by the time we got in the door of course they were all gone. That was my last time. Our weather is rainy and a really cold front for the coming week. I'm looking forward to that. MJ, so good to hear you are relaxing and enjoying your time. June, Free time sounds good to me! I know you are looking forward to your winter break and it is well deserved. Joining you in a walk today I'll sing the sunshine song in my head as I house walk. Its raining here but that's ok Cathy, good to see your internet is back. enjoy your reading, reviewing and online visiting with family.

Thanks for the congrats June and LaDonna. Finally got out of my own way and took a nice hood walk. Did 2.5 miles. Now going to have lunch and relax. I'm having a lot of sinus pressure. Sorry for your rain, LaDonna...house walking works just as well.
June you so deserve a break. Love that song and now I'm singing it as well
