Lucy, yes being able to drive is a blessing.... I think I could drive too, but I am afraid that I might cause an accident or something.. Its hard to stay focused when one is in pain all the time. I stopped driving when I had the brain tumor because I couldn't judge distance... It's really hard living way out away from shopping and the doctors.. Mac always drove and we went everywhere. Well he did anyway but if I needed to go he would just drive me there. It's hard to schedule things when you have to depend on others to take you.
Cat, I'm not all that crazy about turkey, I eat it.. but not much. I'd rather have a good ham.
Speaking of turkey and ham, i made five tv dinners out of the food Ramon brought.. and two out of the ones Elena brought.. so thats a whole weeks worth of dinners I put in the freezer today. but that's all I did.. just couldn't get going today.. Hopefully I'll do better tomorrow . On a good note, it seemed easier to breathe today and only had to take albuterol twice..
Glad to see everyone made the best out of a tough situation .. hard to change but we do what we have to.. everyone seemed to have a good day despite all the restrictions..

Molly the house that Debbie bought had been vacant a while so they’re pretty much fixing it all up. New floors, taking down some of the wallpaper and just painting the walls. The kitchen is not an open concept just a very nice sized one that is very easy to move around in. The one room that will be very easy to fix up is Maija’s as it’s pretty much surrounded with windows and only one actual wall which Maija fell in love with immediately. At first she thought her and Jim’s daughter would have a conflict about whose room it would be but Maija told her that since Maija’s older she gets first pick so the room is hers! Madison also realized that at 13 she needed more walls as she puts things on the wall whereas Maija is past that and loves her view and the sunshine coming in the windows in the morning.
Nothing on my agenda today. Bailey’s grooming and my haircut went well yesterday. I felt so bad for my stylist as I had an appointment at 11:15 and she texted asking if I could come at 10:45 and I said sure and then a few minutes later she texted asking if I could come now so off we went. Fred still insists on driving me there. Anyway she asked how my morning was going and I said fine but quiet and she said well I’ve had a morning from hell! I said what happened? She said I only scheduled three of you for today. My first client was a no show and then my second called to say she had a concealed carry class she had to go to so there was a time conflict. Mind you she would have known about this class well before her appointment so to wait until an hour before to call is pretty inconsiderate I think. So I ended up being her only appointment. I said man that would have made me pretty angry. She said well the one who cancelled said she also needed to change her December 7th appointment to the 12th acting as though I should have plenty of openings and that appointment is for a color and highlighting which takes a lot of time and December is one of my busiest times so I’m trying to see if I can give her a different time and so far no luck. She said the only good thing is I’m done early enough to go do some shopping! She then said also I’m so lucky that you’re always so flexible and I said well I live a pretty boring life and Fred and I were just watching a movie and we just recorded the rest of it. That was pretty funny as when we got home and went to watch the rest of the movie it had one minute left!

Hi Cat. I usually am not a turkey fan but this time it was great.
Sue, hop in and say Hi.
55 high and 60% chance of rain. We need rain. Cold front on the way.
Not much on the agenda for today. Dress, make my bed. Get on the treadmill. Do back exercises. Wash a load. Maybe vacuum the carpet. I put it off anymore because it hurts my back.
I think Bill will be here for lunch. I think it will be spaghetti. The turkey is going to be frozen. I think I will make part of it into a soup for tomorrow. Not sure.
That is about it. Still trying to figure out wifi TV. I want to drop cable.
Have a great Saturday.

Hi Ladies,
Well didn't get much done, but did get some things done, like the laundry, a Hobby Lobby run, and a trip to the car wash regarding the damage to the inside of my car. When I took the car to the car wash and spoke with the manager we discussed what may have happened, and she was going to go over the video and get back with with. We the first time she got back she couldn't find my car, apparently I had the wrong date, it was Saturday not Monday I felt so bad taking up her time looking for my car. A few hours later she called back and told me what happened and she went the extra mile to locate the damaged part, apparently the dealership didn't have it available (the car is 18 years old), but she did find one for $50. Not thinking about installation I mentally thought about splitting the cost, but she offered to install it for free and give me a car wash and all I had to pay was for the part. I told her what I was thinking, and forgetting about the installation. So she will order the part and let me know when it arrives. I thought that was very generous of her, and she said that she spoke with the individual who caused the damage or should I say did what I would eventually would/may have done. I have the habit of leaning on the console when getting in the car and reaching to the passenger side, so after having the car for 15 years I guess I kinda placed too much pressure on the console and it gave out. Morale of the story: don't lean on the console, and that there are 21 or 72 cameras (forgot how many she said they have) in the car wash so they can see what goes on inside the vehicle as well. Yes, I will continue to utilize this car wash because they clean both the inside and outside of the vehicle (vacuuming, dusting, windows) and wipe the car down (just don't lower the windows tho). The minimus cost is $12.99 and it goes up from there, and yes that may be a lot for some, but they do the vacuuming, dusting, windows, etc., like I said. Well worth it me and they are quick.
Today is ironing, floors/vacuuming, and bathrooms. If I can get some other things done that with be great.
Molly, will continue to lay low and keep my errands to a minimum. Plan on staying negative and will try to get another test in about a week or two.
Jenn, OMG, you got a lot done, seven meals ready to heat and enjoy that's great! Sorry you have to depend on others for appointments, I'm sure you've answered this but with all you've done in the past for others and your unlimited generosity you should be able to find people who are willing to help you. I know it is difficult to ask for help because I'm going through that with mom, but between me, my brother, and one of my nieces we are able to make sure mom gets to her appointments and if no-one is available, then my brother will reschedule if possible. BTW if you recall when mom had breast cancer, I had a run in with my sister-in-law and have stepped back and out of scheduling mom's appointments, I only help out when asked. Jenn, please please ask for help.
Sandy, glad you're flexible and was able to get your hair done earlier than expected. You look adorable!
Lucy, I think spaghetti or anything with a tomato sauce base always tastes better the next day after the spices have time the meld together, that's why I usually make the sauce a day early and let it sit in the fridge.
Kathie, thanks for the tuck-in, they are special.
Yes I'm very lucky to be able to drive and I hope that I will be able to get a car that will be safe and allow me to continue to drive and remain independent for many years to come. My blessing is the wonderful weather here in CO. Although it may be 36 and sunny, the warmth of the sun is often times hot. Our high will 54.
Have a wonderful day everyone, and may you all see the beauty of the day and have something that makes you smile and fills your heart with love, remember it does not have to be anything big or planned, usually the little spontaneous events in our lives will bring us great joy. Watch for them and cherish them.
Family Blessings Linda

My blessing for today is my microwave. I use a lot of frozen entrees when I don't like cooking. It's also good for heating up leftovers. I used the carpet sweeper in the bedroom and TV room floors. I've been lazy today.

Hi!
Hi!
We have a nice day today, though it was cold (34Âş) to begin with. it should stay in the 50s today. Right now, it is 51Âş. But the house is a little chilly.
My phone updated last night and this morning it opened with Chinese! Yesh! I finally got it to English, and then the phone locked. I had to call DD for help. Sigh... She came right over and turned the phone off. Then, after waiting a while, she turned it on and it worked. But we really thought she might be spending the day at the phone store. I felt really silly, but now, maybe I will know what to try if it happens again. IF I can turn it off -- a problem for me. Anyway, we visited a while before she left. We won't see each other again for a while. She wouldn't have come near us today if my phone hadn't done its thing.
DH and I watched a football game and had leftovers for lunch. He'll go pick up burgers for dinner. I am ready to freeze the remaining turkey.
Our bed is changed, and the laundry is running, so all is moving along. Now, there is no more to do but have some fun this afternoon. Those of you who still drive -- yay, you! I am waiting for one of those cars that drives itself. Hmmm. Where might it take me? Jenny, do you have the plates that have different compartments for the different foods? I just freeze things in bags. Cat, I like turkey very much! I use it in many ways. I'm thinking an upside down pot pie will be tasty in a few weeks. Hugs! Diane

Life is sure hard when Bobbie is not here. She'll be back on Monday to bathe Jim again. I have had to change sheets each day since she has been gone. The place that was supposed to bring us a new drop arm commode came today (instead of last night) and brought the wrong kind. No drop arm commodes available right now and the other kind won't work here so I refused it. They said the new one might be here on Thursday. Bobbie is going to be annoyed since the one we have in not able to be cleaned probably due to rips in the seat. But, at least Jim can transfer.
My blessing today is our ranch manager who has helped me carry things today. She is a sweetie for sure. Her name is Shauna....so I always tell people that the manager is Shauna and the dog is Shana.....LOL. Dog's name is pronounced ShANNA!...and manager ShawNA!
See you all later for tuck ins....
Praying for Doggie Blessings Kathie

Connie, glad you're feeling better.
Nancy, I seldom use my microwave these days, except to make popcorn.
Diane, you crack me up or should I say your phone cracked me up!! Have you thought about learning Chinese! lol
Kathie, sorry you have to change sheets everyday; and having the wrong commode delivered on the wrong day! I hope the rest of the day is better.

Linda, the spaghetti hit the spot. Diane, I froze the left over turkey except enough to make a good soup for lunch tomorrow. I have it all put together in the fridge ready to put in the slow cooker in the morning.
I can't fix up meals like Jenny does. I just have the freezer on my fridge and it is not a big fridge at that.
Some of y'all get out and about a lot. I am too scared to do that. I don't do any shopping but for a run to our little Braum's and the little dollar store when almost no one is in there. I do grocery pick up.
I hear rain. We need it bad.
