Nothing much to share. Just busy with reading and reviewing and will write a review for the book I read last night...soon. No Thanksgiving leftovers so...no worries on being tempted! Will talk to our daughter this evening and to our son tomorrow.
CHERRY: I am sorry your steak was not delicious. The apple crisp sounds yummy! The dressing recipe you gave to your daughter sounds interesting! Hooray for the curtains being nearly done!
LYNN: Your Thanksgiving sounds perfect! How fun to have so many family together on Zoom and for your daughter to be able to share NY with everyone! Maybe make a small casserole of the layered dish or freeze it in individual portions later?
LYNN: Sounds like a festive feast of a day with the six that were able to be there. How nice to be able to be in touch via skype with everyone!

Good morning. Nothing much going on here today. It is supposed to be partly sunny with a temperature of about 45, but windy in the afternoon. I ran into a problem with the curtain valance. When I sewed the seam that forms the pocket for the curtain rod, the fabric stretched and when I got to the end it was uneven. So I'm going to try to carefully take apart that seam and redo it. It probably wouldn't show when the curtain was hung, but I would know it wasn't up to standard and it would bug me.
Other than that I don't have anything special to do. I'm having my coffee now and computer time, then I will get ready for the rest of the day.

Good morning friends,
Today is the last nice day for a while, they are calling for much colder & rain tomorrow.
We have drug out the Xmas decorations, going to try to get the outside stuff put up today before the rain starts. I have had it with the left-overs, I am just keeping some of the vegetables, but the stuffing is trashed & the left-over turkey is bagged up & saved for the pup. I figure the lean turkey is better for him than dog food. He is very much overweight. The first overweight animal that I have ever owned. He doesn't seem to eat all that much, but like everybody else in the household, he stays fat.
I got the tree up yesterday, now, I have to get out everything else & then clean up the mess. You know you are old, when decorating for Xmas seems to be more trouble than it is worth!

Hello all!
Well, we had leftovers last night and today I made a pot of turkey barley soup for dinner today and a pie with the stuffing, potatoes, turkey and gravy leftovers and froze it for another day. We were stuffed last night too! I also got some Christmas decorations out and can't do the tree until it is delivered on Dec 8th...That is fine by me.
DH got the air conditioners out and put in the basement this morning...we have been busy and I have laundry going....
We decided to move the furniture piece we have in the living room and switch with the piece in my daughter's room, now our sitting room, and put the new TV on that until we do the painting, floors and new bathrooms and then we'll put it on the wall. It should all work out.
Nothing much else going on.

Iām in late but here. Turkey soup finished and enjoyed as well as a quiet day all together. Heading to bed soon. Sleep well everyone. Wishing you many reasons to smile.
