I probably will write no personals today. Read the paper and there was a small obituary for a wonderful man, Dr. Stan Louie, who died November 15th at age 56. We have known him for years as well as his wife and three beautiful daughters. As the girls grew older they joined Jr. ROTC at Selma High School and were on the rifle team. I called my friend Heidi whose husband is medical director of the hospital system and no one knows how Dr. Louie died other than he had been at the VA Hospital. He was always happy and friendly and active in the community with the Chinese church and cultural traditions. It is such a loss.

Hope you got your walk in Audrey. I'll be interested to hear what your dinner is. Love the sound of your hat. I'm sorry for your loss. Hope it isn't too windy to walk Becky. Enjoy church and shopping LaDonna. Dinner sounds good Ann - Oops. Was doing a WW VW before taking spin class. Glad you liked the pic. We got in a 2 mile walk. She likes the coat. So did he eat it Cathy? Yum on the olives. Carol is feeling a little better but has a call into her gastro doctor MJ- Enjoy your last few hours. You and Toots really needed this break. June - Hope you get to enjoy the game. I brought a pumpkin pie and bottle of NJ wine. Glad you don't have too much school work on today's agenda Glad to see you Bee Dinner was lovely. We have been dear friends for 40 years with Bobby and 30 with Ann. Time flew. This morning I fed the ferals, got Lily a 2 mile walk plus structured play (important for breeds of this type) and a short training session before my VW and spin class. After that I finished the outside decorations and put up the tree and stockings. Still need to do the Loveland ornaments and then I'm done decorating. Lobster is on sale so I will have that with light garlic bread and a large salad w/ov for dinner. I brought home just enough for a small Thanksgiving sandwich for lunch. Bella should be here shortly to play with Lily. She starts tomorrow letting her out mid day. Requesting prayers for my oldest friend CJ. She went to the hospital yesterday with trouble breathing. Definitely not COVID, possibly pneumonia (she is susceptible) and/or possibly the return of the breast cancer.

Cathy, between now and the 26th of December I will be baking multiple batches of 6-8 kinds of Christmas cookies, wrapping and organizing gifts and other holiday chores. There are 25 people on the gift list and several like really 7 young grandchildren get multiple gifts. I have to do bills for the law firm and mail all of their Christmas cards It is hard for me to concentrate with a book unless it is very light reading. I knit 1-2 hours at night trying to finish my blanket. It has six 200 gram skeins and I am on the last skein. I cannot knit and read

Susi π prayers for your dear friend, CJ. Am glad that her local hospital could accept her in the ER. Hope you enjoyed yor virtual class. Good that Bella can play with Lily and get her acclimized.
Browns are down some players. So game closer than I would like w/ the lead seesawing back and forth. LOL Spending this much time outside my study feels quite odd.
Audrey Sorry to hear about this loss to your community and circle of friends. Last week a former student, now friend, loss his 44 yr old wife to and this week aour neighbor's sister died fromCovid 19. Very sad to think of these families struggling with their losses during the holiday season. Adds to the grief. You have a lot of holiday activity to anticipate.πππͺ
Bee Hope that you get the rainfall that you need without any damaging weather. Do you have a Sunday church service offered via your TV sets? Mom's NH does.

We're home. We left at 10:30 AM and got home in 2 hours and 23 minutes <ahem>. I will simply say that I KNOW that there were cars driving even faster than I, on the interstate. We've unloaded GracieTOO, had lunch, and we've been watching the Giants/Bengals game. I've got a load of laundry washing, and have NO idea what our evening meal might be. And that's all OK.

Mj We will need to rename GracieToo-- something like the Rocket. Nice to be unpacked. Takeout will work! I have no idea but locally pizza sells really well on the Thanksgiving eeekend.
Browns game was interesting. Some questionable calls. But they held on for a win. Now they are 8-3.

Audrey so sorry for the death of Dr. Louie. Keeping all involved in my thoughts and prayers. Wow, that's a lot of cookie baking. Susi prayers for your dear friend CJ. Please keep us posted as to how she is doing. Happy Lily likes her coat June that is sad about your former students wife and dear neighbor's sister. Way too much sadness added to the holidays COVID and the like. I find this time extremely hard as so many deaths happened between Thanksgiving and New Years Day in my family....... On a happier note, I got in a boatload of steps and happy for pushing myself to do just that. Tomorrow is going to be brutal with rain all day long. I'll have to find something HAPPY to do to distract my mind from going dark. MJ welcome back. Enjoy supper whatever you end up having

LaDonna It hasn't rained today but it's been cloudy and windy and our high has been 53 degrees so I have been house walking also. We did go to Walmart but that was an in and out visit.
Cathy I'm glad you had a sunny day. I'm ready for a sunny day as we are supposed to be down in the mid 30's by tomorrow night. Surprisingly there weren't a lot of people in Walmart and I was happy with that.
MJ I hope you had a safe trip home.
Ann Wow on your 25 degrees. Our low was 48 and it only got up to 53.
June Thanks. It was a quick trip to Walmart and my knee is behaving more today since I have only done house walking. Hopefully tomorrow will be better for walking. I'm sorry about your county going purple at any time. The county where my hometown is located is in red. Our county is not too bad yet but Travis County which includes the capital of Texas is orange.
Bee I'm glad you are doing well and that you are getting rain. We ended up with 1" which we needed badly.
Audrey I'm sorry for your loss.
Susi It was too windy to walk so house walking it is. I'm glad you enjoyed dinner with friends. It sounds like Lily is settling in well. Dogs are so much fun. Prayers for your friend CJ.
Audrey I am so glad I only have Kenneth to buy for at Christmas. I couldn't imagine buying all those gifts. I remember when my parents were still alive buying gifts for them,my 3 brothers, their wives and the niece and nephews.
MJ Welcome back.
