Let's do a daily post with just ONE THING we are grateful for. With everything that is going on, sometimes it is hard to remember to focus on the good things too. It can be funny, silly, serious, whatever, no judgments here.

lol I do! CE3-5052 and it was a party line. It rang once for our house and twice for the Walters. My grandmother had no sense of sharing, she'd talk for hours until Mrs Walters would pick up and slam the phone down 4-5 times then yell into the phone "Dorothy damnit, get off the phone so I can make a call" lol

I remember the original 6 digit. RE-9073 (party line). Eventually changed to NT3-9073
Sometimes the things we remember are amazing. I can sing songs from the 50s, 60s, etc. without skipping a word, but youβre right - I have to have my passwords written down.

Enjoying the beautiful sunshine while we have it. Tomorrow 'they say' rain all...day....long!!!!! Ditto for me. One of the security questions one time was the number part of your childhood home and I remembered it for the one from 1955 to 1965 and the one from before that. I remember part of the the phone number but am not positive about the beginning.

It was so nice yesterday, DH asked me to take one of the canvas covers off the patio bench. When I was out there the sun felt wonderful. I threw on a tank top and jeans skirt and read my book in the sun for about 20 minutes. Heavenly.
I can only remember the letter part of our phone number in Minn. KEL - that's all I've got.

bbbearsmom, you may be able to google your old phone number exchange and find information about it. I googled my old phone exhange (HOmestead in Houston) and it was in a Wiki article about phone exchanges. There have been many changes to phone numbers in the last century; I wonder what will change by the end of the 21st?
