Starting us...puttered all day and we moved stuff out of the kitchen. DH slowly emptying boxes from the computer room.I Finally figured out the label maker he bought last year to label his binders of printed manuals for language audio and stuff for language learning. washed the throw rugs. Tomorrow I will cut out the sizes for no skid mats to go under the no skid rugs that have rubber stuff that can stain vinyl plank.
potato pancakes from tJs with applesauce, eggs and bacon for supper.
so sorry to hear of niece's father in law, Betty.
Happy anniversary, Mar. How was take out Ruth’s Christ?

Not to be a Debbie downer, but holy cow, take special care next few weeks.
America’s top infectious-disease expert sounded the alarm Sunday, warning of a “surge superimposed upon” a surge of coronavirus cases over the coming weeks due to Thanksgiving travel and celebrations. Anthony S. Fauci and other experts urged Americans to take aggressive action as the December holidays loom to mitigate the surge overwhelming hospitals across the country. As the number of coronavirus-related deaths per day rose to its highest point since April, Fauci and others highlighted the importance of complying with mask mandates and physical distancing. “It’s going to get worse over the next several weeks, but the actions that we take in the next several days will determine how bad it is or whether or not we continue to flatten our curve,” U.S. Surgeon General Jerome Adams said on Fox News on Sunday. These are the top coronavirus vaccines to watch Deborah Birx, coordinator of the White House coronavirus task force, warned that the number of coronavirus cases is “three, four, and 10 times” as high as it was during the second surge after Memorial Day weekend.

Hi Owls. Got the garage partially straightened up this morning. Planned on sweeping the floor in there but it was so windy everything I swept out blew right back in. A job for another day.
Had to try out my new mixer today. Made cookies. Sure nice to cream the butter and sugars with the stand mixer rather than my little hand mixer.
Really got cold here this afternoon with the strong winds. DS stopped with a container of turkey soup. That was our supper, so good. Not sure what she uses for seasoning but the soup sure tasted better than mine.
Dave has had another one of his not so good days. Tired and very grumpy. Think he's more worried about Covid than he admits. Still wants to go visit people. He thinks because they're friends or family they can't expose us. He sure doesn't like staying home.
Nothing else much to talk about. bettyj
