I will PTMH. Yesterday I took two walks and hope to do the same today. I will mail my Christmas cards and bills and then help Leo. Iβll continue wrapping and switch the dining room table decor from fall to Christmas. Dinner will be Thanksgiving leftovers with salad. Other meals this week are from the freezer, stuffed peppers, pork tenderloin and soup turkey Iβll make with white beans and fresh vegetables. We go to our sonβs for dinner Friday. Have a great day.

Monday I shall get creative with the M part of the equation. I need to vacuum seal the rest of the turkey and see what I can come up with for tasty healthy meals for the week.
Sweet dreams all. π€π¦πβ€

I will join you in PTMH. We need to buy groceries and take the propane tank in to get it refilled. Cold weather will be visiting for a few days.

Today I will be aware, positive, make healthy choices...
Talked to our son last night. Our granddaughters were NOT as interested in talking as some times and one was eating pizza as she talked to us. She was shocked we have not had food from a restaurant since March. I stayed up late last night and am tired today.
AUDREY: The white beans sound good. How do you make them? 56 is young...sorry that your community lost Dr. Louie Knitting and reading would be difficult though watching TV and knitting is do-able. You could perhaps listen to audio books next time you have knitting to do? I used to make candies for Christmas and cookies but not any more. I have a recipe for caramel from college days that is delicious and also decorated sugar cubes with piped decorations one year. You will be busy with the baking! Sorry for the losses your friends have experienced recently. My dad used to make us egg sandwiches with ketchup...good memories and I seem to make them from time to time recently.
MJ: Glad you enjoyed the retreat and made it home safely.
ANN: Sounds COLD!
JUNE: My favorite way to track food is to not track at all BUT...I think the old points way was easiest and most in line with calories. I find the apps, both MFP and ITB, difficult because not all foods are easily found in the app and foods here in Lebanon don't always provide nutritional information.
SUSI: Didn't make the curry...made a vegetable rice by using a leftover potato, chopping up zucchini and then sauteing onions, garlic and the zucchini then adding in the potato, rice and water with salt and pepper. We had it with hummus and it was tasty. My husband wanted to know what was different as it was MUCH better than just plain rice Eager to hear how Lily is doing. Hope CJ pulls through this hospital stay.
BECKY: Not sure what the color coding for Covid-19 is..might have to google.
BEE: Glad you are doing better each day.

Good morning
Audrey Quite an accomplishment to mail your personal Christmas cards today. People love receiving homemade cookies. For years I helped my MIL bake roughly 112-116 dozen cookies for the holidays.
Becky Good that you can get your propane refilled today. House will feel nice and toasty on the cold nights later this week. Hope you find all that you need in the stores.
Ann Using vacuum sealer will make easy work of freezing that leftover turkey. Do you freeze stuffing? My DS brought over some Th dinner leftovers for us to freeze. It's only a small amount though.
Cathy Mmmm...your meal sounds delicious. Love that it was a hit with DH. LOL. .I can almost see your DGD chomping down pizza without a care in the world.
I feel very sad for my friend & his girls. I have shepherded three children through the loss of a parent. Not easy.

Thanks, Ann!
Monday's goals Focus on the household paperwork & decisions that I have pushed to the backburner. Tinker with Gradebook Ultra to make the total point calculations handle the flexibility ofmy grading system. Freeze the Thanksgiving leftovers. Decide what dinner will be.
Call NH and ask if they can bake any traditional favorite Xmas cookies of residents. Would be nice if they could. Maybe they could bake lemon bars. Mom would love those. Vacuum & mop my study and the living room.
Joining Ann in wishing everyone a real great Monday!

Lol June I'm all about the stuffing and sides. All we have left is the bird.
No rain yet but it's coming. Perfect day to unplug and read. Love a clear agenda.

Audrey - Your tapas looked amazing! I wish I was as organized as you. I'm just happy I am almost done with my decorating. Ann - I think my vacuum sealer is my most used appliance. The rain started around 7 but really hit about an hour ago. Stay dry! Becky - Good luck shopping. Cathy - Kids will be kids and at least you got some time. That combo sounds good. Glad DH enjoyed it. June - I gather they will not allow outside food at this time? Home Gradebook Ultra will work as you wish it to. Lily is not a morning person LOL. I let her out at 5 before I left for the gym. She went right back into the guest bedroom and back to sleep. Her new toys arrived yesterday. She was disinterested in the bone until I hid treats in it. She is now warming up to it. She did really well with the ball outside. I got her running all over the place and she is really good with "drop" which is key for her. She is great with the harness. She and the cats are still feeling each other out but no encounters. She does swear that I am underfeeding her. :-) I will talk to the vet about replacing some of the dry food with the chicken/rice/veggies I used to make for Charlie. I did get the outside decorations done. Inside I just have to put up the Loveland ornaments. Carol and I got in a nice bike ride in the afternoon. I picked up lobsters for dinner last night and have lobster salad for lunch today and tomorrow. I might get them again on Friday while they are still on sale.

Ann That's a good thing. You can do a lot w/ frozen cooked turkey. (As long it is not really tough, teriyaki chicken!) LOL. . . I do not like most typical sides-- stuffing, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, and cole slaw.
Rainy and chilly here
Susi
LOL. So funny that Lily headed back to bed! Sounds like she is quickly getting adjusted.
We have not been allowed to give Mom any food item that is homemade since April. I was lucky that my ESP told me to rush a bakery cupcake to her for her birthday.
Think all is squared away in Gradebook. Yippee! Am working on other paperwork now. Making headway. I just got it, a card, & other things to the NH the morning that they were starting to prohibit homemade goodies. As it was, the receptionist balked a little. But I was firm since it was 20 mins. the cutoff.
