Think about where you were and how you felt when you made the initial decision to join The Senior WW Challenge. Close your eyes and remember when you said to yourself “Enough is enough and I’m getting in shape!” On a scale of 1 to 10, how serious are you? You really need to be an eight or higher! If not, you should probably reevaluate your thoughts and feelings about regaining great health in your life.

I have to call the jury commission this morning as last night when I called the number it said I was to report Tuesday at 9 a.m. and the 10th judicial court judge had paused all jury trials from today through the first part of January so it makes no sense to me that I should have to report. There’s just way too many things that are one thing one day and something different the next. Makes one go crazy!
Other than that nothing happening today. Debbie reminded us about having Prime on our smart tv and recommended the movie Crawl to watch saying it was really good. So we watched it and were not impressed at all. I think our daughter doesn’t know us as well as she thinks as Fred and I are more into action movies. We do like some horror movies but she had said since we liked the Jaws movies we would really like this movie, WRONG!
Supposed to have a brief snow shower this morning. Definitely cold enough!

Went to Jerry's sisters yesterday. She seems to be doing well. She's 92, virtually blind and basically lives alone. Took one of her favorites meals (liver and onions) as she doesn't get it very often. Had a very nice visit. We really need to get up to see her more often.
Today it's back to things as usual. Hoping to do tomorrow's zoom meeting. However that depends on whether we get a phone call from Moffit. When we get the call we have to head up there for Jerry to sign papers and get some testing done. Final hurdle for getting on the clinical trial. We're praying really hard as he's not had any cancer treatment for over 6 weeks. And in my minds eye the cancer is growing.
It's raining this morning and Duke hates the thunder. It never used to bother him but last 4th of July the next door neighbors shot off these huge boomers that literally shook our house, actually had a bell fall off a shelf. Since that time any loud noise (thunder, lawn mowers, trash trucks, etc.) he barks like crazy.
Other than church and grands after school pickup no plans for today. With the rain I won't even be able to knit as my hands hurt.

good morning
Pat. I do hope this works out for Jerry. I know the wait and worry you must have.
My little selling is keeping me busy answering text messages. Over 300 have looked at one item and 11 have texted me. It is $6. so just show up and buy it . Tired of people who say they will and then don't. Sat at the gate for someone lost yesterday because she didn't follow my directions which are very simple. Turn at Walmart and go a mile and I am on the right. Her GPS had her turn and go to a bank. a $2. item . Someone offered $5 for a $10 item that I had on there for just a few hours. And an offer of $30 for a $50 item that again was on there for only a few hours. Told them both no. However I have marked down everything that has been on longer than a few days and plan to give most of that away by next week. I am rather enjoying doing this because it is something different and keeping me busy.
I am going to clean a bit more grout and I have to go to the library and I play bridge today with the one husband subbing again.

Good morning. I’ve had a medium walk this morning and heard thunder. I hope we get the rain. I planted more seeds yesterday. We had lettuce from our “garden”. I have three big pots on the back patio. One has a basil and the other two lettuce. Besides the lettuce seeds I’ve been planting the cut off root end of lettuce and planted it. They are doing ok. It didn’t work with celery.
No more news on DB Marvin but I am discouraged that he won’t get over this and if he does he’ll have issues. It all started with the fire.
Jane marketplace can keep you busy. I used to sell antique glass on eBay and it was a full time job.

Good morning on this last day of November. We're getting some rain/snow mixed this morning with more snow to follow later tonight. They're predicting about an inch for the west side of Indy with 2-4 over on the east side. I'm not sure I'm ready for the snow yet but it's coming whether I'm ready or not. This afternoon we're taking my car to Zeibart to drop it off for our appt tomorrow. They're reapplying the rust proofing. I normally get it done in September but everything's been pushed back this year because of the stay at home orders this past Spring. I'm going to have them detail it too since they'll have it all day tomorrow. I won't be able to make the Zoom meeting tomorrow. It's going to be a crazy busy day. We have to be at the hospital by 10am for Jerry's CT scan followed directly by his appt with his urologist. Then in the afternoon, he has another Dr appt with his GP for his 6 month check-up. We won't be able to pick my car up until around 4 or 5 tomorrow. I'll be really glad to finally get home and relax for the evening. Sandy, we rented that movie from Netflix. It was pretty intense and not nearly as good as Jaws. Pat, I'm glad your husband's sister is doing so well especially at her age and living alone. I'm sure she appreciated both the visit and the liver and onions. I sure hope you hear from Moffit soon and that Jerry is accepted into the clinical trial.
Sharon, praying for your brother's recovery.

good morning. We are promised snow flurries today but no sign of them yet. It is 38 which is really cold for us. My facebook page was accessed by someone in Texas about 1 this morning and I cannot get into anything. I can't even get to a place to report it. I hate this.
so sorry for those whose family members are having health problems. JJ's father is in and out of the hospital with covid enduced double pneumonia. He is a firm believer (was) that covid was a scam and would not wear a mask unless he was at work where it was required. He has apologized to Linda because he has been near her and JJ after he was feeling sick. They have both been exposed because of his actions and I worry for all three of them.
I guess I am just an all 'round mess today.

Good Morning!
It was raining this morning so I didn't go walking with my group. I plan to go shopping for a few toys for the Toys for Tots bin at our clubhouse. I have an online training and 2 silver sneakers classes and a tea meditation this evening. Looks like a busy Monday on tap for me today.
Sandy, If you like Lifetime holiday romantic comedies we saw a really cute one on Amazon Prime last night. It's an old Hallmark movie. A CHRISTMAS BRIDE. Synopsis: Aiden (Andrew Walker) bets his friends that he can convince a woman to marry him by Christmas, and he sets his sights on Jessie (Arielle Kebbel), a young woman who has sworn off serious relationships.
Pat, I also love liver and onions. I have not had it in years! My DDs used to love it until I burned them out on it when their dad was out of town. LOL Continued prayers for Jerry.
Sharon, I am finally becoming successful at growing basil in Florida. My basil plant is big and lush and healthy. Continued prayers for Marvin.
Vicki, OMG... I had forgotten all about Ziebart and rust-proofing cars. That was a must in Ohio, too, and not something we have to worry about in Florida.
Geri, Prayers for JJ's father, JJ and Linda.
Time for SS. BBL

Prayers for you and your family Geri
Well no grout cleaning. Met a woman at the gate for $3 and went on to the library where I took back everything due today, Wed or Thurs. Decided I can't get it read by then. So dropped off 6 and picked up 4. Then the item asking I listed for $10 has 6 asking within a few minutes. But askers don't always show up.
Working in the garage again but getting bins empty However trying to see if I have more Christmas stuff.

KC yes we are getting a pretty big prayer list. Thank you.
DB Marv called me. Some of the fluid retention is going down and he may go home in a couple days. If the swelling comes back, he will need a pacemaker. So his heart is not strong. I feel it’s covid related. It takes its toll sometimes after.
I did some shopping therapy online. I ordered two pair shorts, a knit top, a cardigan sweater and new T-shirts for Don. I spent $95 and saved $116. I’m not sure I used all the discount codes as I could have but if everything fits I’m happy. I ordered brands I know my size. Fingers crossed.
adding: it’s cloudy, so I went outside and washed the 6 back windows in the lanai. I can’t remember the last time they were washed outside! Don was busy reading. Sigh

Good afternoon, friends. I never returned yesterday as my back went out--badly. I had such painful spasms that I was having trouble breathing. It's still there, though better than yesterday. When I am done I'll call my doctor. I have never had upper back problems before. No walking for me today. Just as well as it is rainy and windy out there. Even that is beautiful to look out at.
I had my last film class from this semester this morning. It was wonderful. The whole semester was. The instructor, participants, and films were special. Yesterday's reading aloud book club was also excellent.
I am so sorry for those of you who are worried about people who are close to you. Sharon: your DB and DD; Geri :JJ, Linda and JJ's dad; Pat: your DH; and anyone else I left out. This is such a difficult time. Having other worries must seem overwhelming at times. Thinking of you all.
I must make some calls. I will cancel the trip to SC. No need to hurry about that, especially with a fragile back. Better to go in the Spring when, hopefully, it will be safer andI will be feeling better.
Over the last 24 hours I am grateful for: 1. My zoom groups: book clubs, movie class, our group, etc. Such a boon when living alone. 2. DD. When I told her about my back, she immediately offered to come over and help me with anything. I turned her down as today I am feeling well enough to do what needs to be done. I appreciate her. 3. The good books I read and listened to yesterday: DEAR EVAN HANSEN, THE BOOK OF TWO WAYS, and the next book for one of my book clubs A PURE HEART.
I hope to BBL.

Gail,So sorry about your sore back. Does icing it help? I always ice mine when I have issues and it usually cures my problem in a day or two.

I had a busy day. I met one buyer at 10 and another at 5 and went to the library and played bridge. which I won.
Now have a pot pie in the oven. It is the last one I have so still trying to use stuff out of the freezer.
I am thinking of all of you and hope things will improve for everyone.
Plans for tomorow--list a wreath because I tried to hang it up on the door and I am just too short to get it up there. I now have 4 empty bins in the garage. So keep working in the garage but still need to try to sell Christmas linens and other Christmas items in my buffet cabinet. I will try to make zoom unless I am dealing with something I can't quit on. Next book. Another Patterson one called Three women disappear. How can one person (well he has co authors) write so many books.
