This thread was started before the dawn of time by Amazons who needed to compare their stats with other Amazons. Over time it grew into a community of incredible women who try to keep their spirits in the clouds and their feet on the ground, moving toward health. Most of us start at 5'7 and go up from there, from young singles to wise and lively elders of the tribe. We welcome newcomers who are willing to be kind and share a bit of their lives.

GM Cats! Just wanted to start the thread today. Martha, so glad you could join the Cat Challenge. We are not doing a monetary winning this round because if you do the work you will win (lose) and that is what our goal is. Are you still active on the WW app? If so, the goal is that you will stay in your healthy eating zone each day. So your smart point goal is 30. You need to have between 27-37 so's each day. You can use weeklies or fit points, it's your choice. Just stay in the zone. If you have the app, it already gives you a blue dot on the calendar on the 'journeys' tab at the bottom. If you don't have the app and are doing it by paper, Melinda told me there was another app you can download that lets you track your points. You'd have to just notate it on a calendar at home, but as long as you are in the zone, give yourself a dot. Great weigh in!!
I'm up earlier than usual to get some things done. I'll stop by later to see who has stopped by. Oh, and post my WI from my meeting. It's looking promising.

A quick good morning before I run to get ready for work. A quick peek at the scale this morning confirms that earning blue dots is a good thing. Two on the calendar now and shooting for three. I'm so glad we have a little group pulling together with a goal in mind!
Here's hoping your hard work shows on the "big" scale at your meeting this morning, Frieda!
T, I'm so happy for your new car! My DM loves her Outback with those safety features. It sold her. Have you named him/her?
Glad you jumped on the challenge Martha! Hooray for new decades!
Gotta run.

Good morning! A quick hello as I start my work week. Hoping for a little less crazy this week.
I need to follow both Frieda and Susan in earning more blue dots...I start so well after my Wednesday meeting, then fall off the wagon for the weekend. And it's so much easier to track with the app these days - beats writing everything down like I did back 10 years ago when I first started the program. I must find the discipline!! Maybe the new CAT challenge will help.
Have a wonderful day everyone!!

Andrea, Awesome that you are going to follow the blue dot's to success! Are you able to give me a starting weigh in? Susan, I know the blue dots work. I do get them most days, but 1-2 times a week, I indulge. Usually if I go out for dinner, or stress eat (I'm working on that) but I've still been losing even with a couple of high point days thrown in weekly. Off to my meeting!

Aloha, Long and Lovelies!!!
We had a really nice weekend with DH's kids. They are definitely doing better, especially DSD. DSS is coming along; I think it will be better once he gets out of his wearing black all the time phase. DS did really well at both belt testing and soccer game. Lovely weather on Saturday; we never really got the huge storms predicted for us yesterday. Just some rain. Which works, because we put down some grass seed on Saturday in hopes of fixing some of our embarrassing bald spots in the backyard.....
Frieda, I wish I could I say I was surprised......but I'm not. I can't believe he's already introducing the girls to someone. What an idiot. How did they handle it? Are they okay? I bet your yoga the other day was fabulous. Good for you! I love hearing the verve and excitement around the challenge.
T, how exciting for you and for DS! I too was wondering what the new name is?
Susan, did the chores get done by MM?
Andrea, I am amazed all the time by how much we can accomplish with apps and notes on our phones now. It's just crazy.
Melinda! A cruise in four weeks! I love how much you and your DH do things together.
Oh! We booked our days for DW this weekend! So excited! We had some drama around which hotel to stay at, and other stuff, and we just decided to do our own thing. I think we will all be happier that way.....
Alrighty, gotta go attend some meetings. Hugs to all!!!

Hi CaTs. Hi Blue-Dot-Energy-Infused-Kitties! So happy for the fever that is growing here for tracking and the pursuit of success. And to see you wrapping your arms around it is wonderful, Frieda It's truly doing something positive for yourself and getting sweet rewards. I am going to join in by just trying to track. I haven't been able to keep my head into that for a while - and you all know that is the thing I so stand behind as a path to success! My tracker "journal" is out, with pen, and breakfast logged. I know my lunch and what late eats are when I get home from lessons after 8. I'll decline to post weight, and just can't bring myself to phonetrack, though blue is my fave color. Had a good weekend. Lunch with a DGF on Friday and took her a carload of donations for a charity sale she's heading. Saw DD in town for a med appt - a radiant, restoring sight for this mom. Any good vibes, prayers, thoughts sent toward her for internship success cheerfully received. She is awaiting word. Then more Fri pm piano makeups. Sat I had lunch w another DGF, and went to quilt exhibit at a local museum. Good for palate, eyes, and spirit. Home to pack, sort, carry on. More of that on Sunday after church. We have an apt all-but-leased in our new town - next door to Susan. So exciting and so many emotions! Pressure to be ready, not the least of my feelings. We move about June 1. My apologies for no personal notes today - must keep this engine running. Piano and WW to prep for - oh, and maybe a box to fill. Watching Colleen's arrival with big eyes. Big hugs all around Catville. Best Monday to all.

Frieda - we'll just go with today's number since I didn't weigh on Saturday: 178.9

Posting unsigned. I'm here! The good news is that I tracked both days in April - no blue dots, but tracked. My scale is at home, so blah. I'm determined to stay in line. I've read everything from the weekend. (Frieda, ugh! But awesome for the yoga release! And, how dare she look like me)
Things feel chaotic, I'm seriously exhausted, but trying to drink water. I do need coffee, stat.
Waves all the way around. Hooray for tracking, hiking, new cars, new grass, new decades, new towns, and new vacations!

I am so flipping happy about my latest weigh in!! Just remember I started fresh Feb 13 and am following the program. I have high point days, I eat every weekly point and some fit points too. Are you READY?? I've lost a total to date of 16.2 pounds!! Honestly my body doesn't seem to be changing at all, I have taken measurements, but maybe when I hit the 20 lb mark I'll see some shrinkage.
Oh, and lastly, I think what has helped is me putting my stats on my signature. I decided to own that very high number. Can anyone else relate. I put it out there, and felt by putting it out there I could tackle it instead of hoping it would go away.
Shari, I'll put you down for the tracking challenge! Are you sure you don't want to give me a weigh in?
That's all I have time for ladies. Hoping my advisor calls me today. Not sure, it's his first day back from vacation. If I have any news I'll report it. I'm going to go to yoga class #2 tonight.

I have a basic phone - just 4 text/calls. I use the 3 month tracker for most of the week. There are days that don't get written down due to laziness. On that note, was eating a ww choc/rasp ice cream while DH had the partial half gallon. Let's just say, I used a heck of a lot of sp that I didn't want/need to. Especially since going out for lunch shortly. Hopefully DF and I will be going for a walk. Maybe when I get home, elliptical. No promises tho. Stayed up late to watch ACM's. Not really impressed. Congrats to all on being part of the challenge. Let's go for the BLUE! HUGS~
