Thanks Holly! I'm guessing Pam is just busy - hoping she's fine.
I can't remember the last time we went out for new year's eve! Maybe even as far back as college or shortly after. Even without the pandemic situation, we wouldn't be going out. Just got to thinking, sometimes new year's eve means fireworks. Thankfully, none of our dogs get overly scared by that, but it will still wake them up and make them bark or howl.
Thanks for sharing the wishes - I like it.

Thanks for starting the thread Holly and for sharing that. It does seem that out of 525,600 minutes that some of that has to be good, right ?
I found the signup thread that Pam had posted on last week and added to it so it is here "refreshed" again. She has been on the boards this morning on other threads.
If she doesn't post by late this evening, I will start tomorrows thread.

Good to "see" you, Judy. It's illegal to set off fireworks where I live (you have to obtain permit, so for the most part, we're talking places like Sea World or some of the larger, more well-known hotels set off fireworks). Last week, Christmas Eve, someone was setting off what must have been firecrackers in our neighborhood. My next-door neighbor opened his front door and yelled something like, "What the f**k! Stop!" or something along those lines (I remember he definitely used the eff word). And it did stop.
I wrote the above hours and hours ago; then I got caught up in tutoring a few students and having dinner with DH. So, it's also nice to see the rest of you too!jasimons, jan, bmazzo,

Thank you for starting us and posting today, Holly...well...yesterday
What's up for today?
We had another day at home. Nothing exciting. Toasted the new year and went to bed later. Today we will probably have black eyed peas with choumar (fennel greens) and onions...I might have it with a grain or eat it with local flat bread...that is...if my husband brings the fennel in We haven't gone out for a LONG time!
Any special exercise plans? Today - the first - is a new year of "intentions" and that means...walking at least 20 minutes and doing some stretching and wall pushups and squats and calf raises and such.
