I'm IN.
Hanging on at the DayJob by my quickly-shredding fingernails... but still hanging on...
SOOO glad this thread's available to use as a touchstone for focusing my thoughts for my meals today.
Must dash to the grocery. Unexpected visit from DaBoyz last night has me a day depleted in the KidFood category.

I get it as we are starting to ramp up first for Easter and then for the summer. I'm planned, packed and tracked except for dinner. I am taking a 75 minute virtual spin ride at 6:30 and can't eat before. I have stuff in the house or may pick up a slice of pizza after.

Morning! I remembered to make overnight oats! DH brought home stuffed peppers from Costco for dinner, I don't have to cook. Strugging with too many foods at the office and we have a daily Easter egg hunt. Fortunate I don't eat gobstoppers, sweet tarts, star burst, but the chocolate is hard! Looking forward to zumba!

Good morning, I get it diva49, I have to be accountable each day myself. It's important for me to stake my claim that the day will be a good one in many ways. I am heading to MGH in a bit, left my music there last week, so hoping that rescuing it isn't too much of an adventure! Leia has her second acupuncture appt this afternoon, so a full and rich day, LOL! Have a good one!

Good morning! It's a rainy cold icky day here! BUT the exciting thing is that Margaret Atwood is on campus today for our department's Literary Awards Banquet!! I'm not going to the banquet or the talk, but maybe I will catch a glimpse of her around the department! (Tickets sold out in one day) Nothing else much going on here! Getting back on track with my eating after the weekend at my sisters. Working to undo the damage, which really wasn't THAT bad! I hope you all have a GREAT day!

Hi everyone, Second day of testing for the kids here. Yuck for everyone. I have my WI today. I'm committed to going back to my meetings and really getting on plan.
Now I just need to get the exercise part. I'm so envious of all of you when I hear about Zumba, cycling, weights etc. I just need to bite the bullet, pay a gym membership and start going and trying new things.
I am working on being consistent with my Pelvic Floor stretches.
I've got a nice salad packed for lunch, not sure about dinner tonight. I've got my meeting and DH is going to Lenton services. So we may go out, I'll try to make a healthy choice

OK Neen- I'll admit to being a dummy- Who is Margaret Atwood? When you tell me I'll probably feel stupid because I'll know, but write now the name is not ringing any bells.
When I hear that last name I think of Tony Atwood, the man who literally wrote the book on Asperger's (high functioning Autism). He is one I would be excited about.

Good morning! I'm in too. I'm going to my WW meeting this morning. I already did my April WI on Sunday but wanted to attend my weekly meeting.
I have bought a bag of Easter candy that I have wrapped up and put it out of sight. I will be giving it to the g-kids for their egg hunt. At the moment, the chocolate is not calling my name so I'm ignoring it.
I enjoyed the shopping yesterday at Macy's and Dillard's. It's been months since I've been there so I like to see what's popular this season. I was going for jeans but opted instead for summery capri pants. We're almost out of long pant weather here so I'll wait for the jeans until fall.
When I get home, I'll be helping DH with the yard work. Will definitely get my Vit. D today.
Have a great day!

Thanks Neen. I'll have to check her out. I could use some good books to read over the summer. Right now it's 35 days and counting. 6 days left of testing!

Good morning all. It's another gray cold day here. I have my PT appointment today. Tonight I'll attempt to go to a wine tasting. My local store does these big wine tastings twice a year with over 100 wines. My sister and I have gone for years and usually stay about two hours. I told her I'd try to go for 1/2 an hour or so. I don't think i can last much longer this year! neen how exciting! She's one of my favorite authors. ksbruns hope the acupuncture goes well. How do they keep the dog still? Hope everyone has a good day!

Good morning all. Stopping in on a warm and sunny Wednesday. Haven't posted much this week.
Never did share my allergist experience. The doc was pompous and not a good listener. Very much by the book. I am being kind. For a young guy in a respected practice I expected more.
The long and the short...I was non-reactive to anything tested. Even some foods that have been problematic in the past. Since the rash was long gone no help there. He tried to tell me that if the rash did not look exactly like his pictures that I basically did not know what I was talking about. Since this was not a normal occurrence for me I did not think to take pics.
I did get some insight into seasonal pollen sensitivities etc. If I ever return there (most likely not) I will see another doc. I will figure out the food issues on my own.
After 3 weeks of rash and 2 plus weeks of head stuff, I am still tired and dealing with inflammation. No scale movement but staying the course.

Morning all! diva49 I love what you said about this thread being a touchstone, such a perfect description! The weekly this week is "Turn it Around" and focuses on reversing small gains (before they become big ones.) It discusses an "action weight" (think red zone) and an "action plan" (you guys keeping me on the straight and narrow.) So appreciative of everyone here keeping me in line through accountability, you guys are the best! And thank you for kicking us off today MJ Good luck avoiding Easter candy everyone! It is everywhere. And Reese's has their eggs out now, I must resist! 100gone I hope the PT goes well! It is amazing how a few stretches and movements can get the healing started thyme2, UGH. I can imagine the words you wanted to use. Sorry you had such a bad experience and still no answers. Have a great day everyone! 🌷
