I had a lot of medical + personal stuff going on so went on a hiatus, but I'm back now.

Now that the series Alone is in season 8, I have just started watching it. I used Netflix and History channel on demand and I have just finished Season 3. I tape the current season 8 and watch them when it is convenient, but I am just so darn hooked on this.

I'm several episodes in on Travelers on Netflix. I've also been watching what I can of the Olympics.

For Disney fans, there is a new documentary series on Netflix, titled "Behind the Attraction". It has 10 episodes (5 came out July 21, not sure about the final 5) that discuss the planning and making of some iconic Disney exhibits. I watched Jungle Cruise and Haunted Mansion last night and loved hearing about them.

I finished the third season of Marcella on Netflex. I got hooked on the first 2 and thought I couldn't watch 3 because it was too violent for me. Desperate for something one night I clicked on and yes it hooked me.

thought I couldn't watch 3 MarieL, I gave up in the middle of season 2. Too many creepy scenes and people. So many British shows are this way and they often bother me. Idris Elba had a series, Luther, that was like this too.

We are watching Why Women Kill on Paramount Plus. It is the most hilarious black comedy ever. I hope it comes back for season 3.

We finished watching Loki. It was ok. Generally I love "all things marvel" but this one was a disappointment for me for some reason. Kind of reminded me of Doctor Who (which I love) but the frantic episodes like they did with Capaldi (which I didn't love). I'm betting Tom Hiddleston will be glad to put this role behind him. He is a fantastic actor and being Loki kind of pigeon holes him since it's such a popular character.

There is a documentary series on Netflix about how movies were made. They did one for Pretty Woman, Ghostbusters, Die Hard plus others. My husband watched the one about the making of Pretty Woman and said it was great. He likes to watch documentaries and read books about the making of movies.

The Walking Dead last night. Not bad, the writing/acting was better than it has been in a while. A few things bugged me (spoilers below) Ron and I were both wondering why they didn't just kill all the walkers in the military base then take their time getting the MRE's, because you know they're going to need to go back and get more, there were a lot of crates in there.
I think Darryl pulled Maggie under the subway car when she fell. Negan saw something that made him not help her when he looked behind her. At least I hope so, I really love to hate Negan lol

I agree with your Walking Dead statements!!! I LOVE Negan and Maggie is really beginning to pluck my nerves. Yes I know it should be vice versa, but I just can't take much more of her.
However, in thinking it out...I wonder how long it will be until Maggie realizes she's becoming Negan (the bad version). Negan's backstory showed how a death of a loved one consumed him and made him into the person he is today. That's exactly what Maggie is doing.
And, it is the apocalypse for pete's sake, people are going to die by walkers and/or bad people. They should be use to this by this point! No time for grief, you've got to keep moving to keep society moving.

Saw The Father last night, on Starz for free. I had been avoiding it because I was afraid it would be too sad. Well, it was but I'm glad I saw it.

We watched The Courier on Amazon Prime. The story is based on a true story of a British spy during the Cold War and stars Benedict Cumberbatch. We enjoyed it a lot.
