WELCOME TO REGULAR & NEW POSTERS! This thread is full of encouragement & suggestions. New people, welcome! We encourage you to jump in. One day, one hour, one minute at a time is easier to handle than a week, etc. Lurkers, join in
Our goal is 21 days Binge Free (studies show 21 days to break old habits & start new ones!). Whether we make 21 or one, the point is to learn as we go, replace binges with other things to help us through stressful times. Some days are harder than others & we may slip; that's OK. The Binge Monster is in the shadows waiting to pounce. Hopefully this thread provides inspiration, courage, & support to become a Binge Survivor!
You may see different folks on different "Cycles." A Cycle is a 21 day block of consecutive binge-free days. Stay with us for as many cycles as you'd like.
Everyone's definition of a BINGE is different. The Oxford Dictionary defines a binge as a spree of eating and drinking. To many of us, BINGE is defined as "eating without dignity." The dictionary defines "dignity" as a calm and serious manner or style, showing suitable formality or indicating that one deserves respect. Only you can define what a binge is for you. Going over points, as long as it was done with dignity and journaled (thereforeacknowledged and "owned") isn't binging--it is up to you to decide.
SPECIAL THANKS TO LESLIE5609 for starting this challenge on the Out of Control Board, in August '02, and thanks to all who keep it going.

1658 calories 1103 exercise calories 115g protein 30g fiber 0g added sugar
Not much time to post this morning...
Nancy, you could absolutely use some cheddar in place of the mozzarella in the quiche. It’s delicious reheated in the air fryer. Re: protein, I struggle to get enough since I don’t eat meat. Unless I supplement with a shake or protein bar, I usually don’t meet the minimum. Tuesday I had a Premier Protein with oats (20g), quiche (24g), the cheesecake (18g), and a Built bar (18g). Other things with smaller amounts made up the difference.

Jan - I was planning on Lori's recipe which only uses the shredded cheddar. That's what I was thinking of mixing half and half with shredded mozzarella. But this time around I'll just use the cheddar and try with half the mozzarella as an alternative. Seems it's better to use reduced fat cheeses instead of fat free, so that's what I've ordered. Have you tried the new mug cake recipe? So good. You're doing great with the protein, fiber and added sugar. I'm no longer counting those, but must be OK if I'm meeting the 16 power points and 1200 calories. I just finished the last of my WW products so entered a new online order.

Busy day in the office, then Chiro appointment and as soon as I got home, I completed my arm exercise and step count....I can see that when things get back to “normal” it will be a challenge to get all my exercise in. I know the next two months, I have no excuse. So I’ll concentrate on making it a habit...
Nancy, I’m thrilled you like the mug cake recipe. I hope you enjoy the other ones just as much. Quiche recipe you can pretty much swap cheese and veggies for what you like best.
Jan, how did you like the cheesecake? I bet you didn’t have any sugar cravings during your high protein day..,.I love how much protein the cheesecake has...I love the built bars also...

Lori - I got the ramekins! They're beautiful. 12 of them of 10.99. 4" diameter and 2" depth. Perfect for all of it. In fact I'm returning the silicone bundt ones. I think I liked the mug cake better fresh than after refrigerating so in the future I'll just make 1 serving at a time. And they'll be perfect for the cheesecake. I never heard of built bars. Amazon only has them in 18 mixed packs. Neither shoprite not stop and shop carry them - at least not for delivery. GNC doesn't either. I've been having trouble fitting in the exercise as well. I seem to be so busy lately.
