WELCOME TO REGULAR & NEW POSTERS! This thread is full of encouragement & suggestions. New people, welcome! We encourage you to jump in. One day, one hour, one minute at a time is easier to handle than a week, etc. Lurkers, join in
Our goal is 21 days Binge Free (studies show 21 days to break old habits & start new ones!). Whether we make 21 or one, the point is to learn as we go, replace binges with other things to help us through stressful times. Some days are harder than others & we may slip; that's OK. The Binge Monster is in the shadows waiting to pounce. Hopefully this thread provides inspiration, courage, & support to become a Binge Survivor!
You may see different folks on different "Cycles." A Cycle is a 21 day block of consecutive binge-free days. Stay with us for as many cycles as you'd like.
Everyone's definition of a BINGE is different. The Oxford Dictionary defines a binge as a spree of eating and drinking. To many of us, BINGE is defined as "eating without dignity." The dictionary defines "dignity" as a calm and serious manner or style, showing suitable formality or indicating that one deserves respect. Only you can define what a binge is for you. Going over points, as long as it was done with dignity and journaled (thereforeacknowledged and "owned") isn't binging--it is up to you to decide.
SPECIAL THANKS TO LESLIE5609 for starting this challenge on the Out of Control Board, in August '02, and thanks to all who keep it going.

I got home from work at 1 yesterday but made the mistake of turning on the news to watch the certification. Needless to say, I got nothing done the rest of the day. I did do my nails and get a large chunk of the puzzle done, but the load of laundry I did Monday is still unfolded.
Nancy, I ordered the Built bars from their website; theyโre not available in stores. Iโm surprised you found them on Amazon. I have a 20% off code if you want it. Theyโre kind of pricey.
Lori, the cheesecake was ok. I like the serving size and amount of protein. I have several other extract flavors and might try playing around a little. I think almond and cake batter would both be good.

Nancy I wish we lived closer I would give you a few built bars before you order them. They use to offer a sample pack Iโm not sure if they still do. For me, there more of a like a candy bar treat. They start at 130 cal a bar and go up from there. Glad you look like your ramekins I hope you like the cheesecake.
Jan, I made the last batch of cheesecake using almond extract, I liked both. You can definitely play with the extracts/skinny syrup and any sweetener you like. I think the texture, the healthiness and size is right on - plus for 150 cal, it works for me.
Of course, Cheesecake fruit toppings help....a few slices of banana, strawberries or some jam...
....pedaling away while posting here, then getting my pilates done, then heading to Momโs for lunch, Chinese take out and run some errands This weekend Iโll be taking all the Christmas stuff down.....going to miss my tree....

Last night was the first time I broke my new k-closed night time rule. I just got the snackies to the tune of 9 points and 262 calories. I'm not calling it a binge because I went into it with 30 unused weeklies and 7 unused fit points. The real test will be what happens tonight and subsequent nights. Hopefully I can get right back to where I was.
Jan - Wow - you're killing it with protein and fiber. I would love the 20% code. Seems I have to order 18. I did, though, find the option to pick and choose my own assortment - 3 flavors, 6 each. I figure if you both love them, I will too. Seems the 130 calorie ones are 3 points. I'll probably get the cookies and cream, the salted caramel and the caramel brownie. Have you tried any of those?
Lori - My groceries come on Saturday. That's when I'll be able to try the cheesecake and the quiche. I also ordered the ingredients for our cabbage soup. I haven't made it in a while. It will serve as a nice mini meal with a mini Portuguese roll. I love those but with the butter they come to 4 points so I have to attach them to something point free.
