WELCOME TO REGULAR & NEW POSTERS! This thread is full of encouragement & suggestions. New people, welcome! We encourage you to jump in. One day, one hour, one minute at a time is easier to handle than a week, etc. Lurkers, join in
Our goal is 21 days Binge Free (studies show 21 days to break old habits & start new ones!). Whether we make 21 or one, the point is to learn as we go, replace binges with other things to help us through stressful times. Some days are harder than others & we may slip; that's OK. The Binge Monster is in the shadows waiting to pounce. Hopefully this thread provides inspiration, courage, & support to become a Binge Survivor!
You may see different folks on different "Cycles." A Cycle is a 21 day block of consecutive binge-free days. Stay with us for as many cycles as you'd like.
Everyone's definition of a BINGE is different. The Oxford Dictionary defines a binge as a spree of eating and drinking. To many of us, BINGE is defined as "eating without dignity." The dictionary defines "dignity" as a calm and serious manner or style, showing suitable formality or indicating that one deserves respect. Only you can define what a binge is for you. Going over points, as long as it was done with dignity and journaled (thereforeacknowledged and "owned") isn't binging--it is up to you to decide.
SPECIAL THANKS TO LESLIE5609 for starting this challenge on the Out of Control Board, in August '02, and thanks to all who keep it going.

Wide awake....
Nancy, that’s a a good estimate for the pizza, every slice is a different size. Since we have the pizza at home, I’m able to weigh it and of course, I pick the biggest piece.
Enjoying a hot cup of chocolate milk and a Hallmark movie....hoping to dose off....

2006 calories 525 exercise calories
I had 4 Lindor truffles last night. Well worth the calories and sugar.
Lori, I used 1/3 cup of Swerve to sweeten the cheesecakes. It’s more of a texture thing for me, I like something creamier. I hope you finally got some sleep!
Nancy, that’s a ton of food!
Kathy, I like the Built bars because they’re chewy, but sometimes I can’t help but think about the artificial ingredients. They’ve been filling a gap for me though since I started tracking added sugars. Sometimes we have to make concessions.

I think I finally got about 3 hours sleep....
Nancy, didn’t realize the KedemTea cookies were so low in calories, I’ll have to try them again. Are they in the cookie aisle?
Jan, your stats are great and love that you enjoyed your treat. Last night, I enjoyed a Christmas cookie. I find I’m really enjoying them one at a time and it’s not effecting the scale. The first time I made the cheesecake, I didn’t like the texture either (mixed it) but when I blended it, it made all the difference, to me.

Lori, I’ve never had Kedem tea biscuits. I’ve blended the cheesecake with my stick blender both times. Aren’t you glad you don’t have to work today? Three hours sleep makes me miserable! I found a piece of pumpkin roll in the freezer. I completely forgot about it, will look forward to enjoying it soon.
Nancy, I’m really enjoying A Time For Mercy. It’s good old fashioned Grisham style.

C56. D2. OP. Tracking. Exercise. I ate and drank 24 points yesterday and the scale is down 2.4 pounds today. Amazing what being on track for a short time can do!
Nancy- we are cycle buddies now. Let's do this!!
Jan - I hear you bon the artificial ingredients. I'll think of it as a bridge to less sugar. Nice you can enjoy your Lindors treat.
Lori - ughhh on the sleepless night. Wonderful that you can enjoy one cookie ata time. That remains an issue for me.
Hi to all who follow.

Jan - Our supermarkets sell the Lindor Truffles loose 3 for $1. That's how I buy them for DH to protect myself from too many in the house. I did have one each binge night last week along with everything else that wasn't nailed down.
Lori - The Kedem tea biscuits are in the ethnic food aisle with the kosher stuff. Two of them are 1 point and 32 calories. They're filling for some reason and really serve the purpose when you feel like something sweet after a meal. Unless I'm binging, I never have more than 2 on any given day. I like the plain ones best.
Kathy - Coincidentally I was also down 2.5 this morning after my first solid day and night. The night time was a battle. I kept thinking one string cheese won't hurt but was well aware of what that could lead to. I finally battled off the urge and went to sleep. Here's to D3!!
