This thread was started before the dawn of time by Amazons who needed to compare their stats with other Amazons. Over time it grew into a community of incredible women who try to keep their spirits in the clouds and their feet on the ground, moving toward health. Most of us start at 5'7 and go up from there, from young singles to wise and lively elders of the tribe. We welcome newcomers who are willing to be kind and share a bit of their lives.

Good morning, all. I am looking to the day when the crush of work lightens up -- not for another few weeks, I'm afraid. In the meantime, exercise has fallen to the back burner since the weekend, and my trainer may not be back from a family event today. Phooey.
Not a blue dot day yesterday, but not a disaster. All tracked. My fat jeans are getting loose but the scale isn't doing much. I'll take the victories where I find them. Good job, Andrea, on getting a loss going. Must move along. I've got a lot to pack up for work.

T: I think the program still works (might even be better) if there are one or two non blue dot days. You can never give up, because then where would you be? My home scale isn't moving at all. Which is expected, due to my recent losses, but it doesn't make me feel any better. I haven't been on the TM either this week. Today I will run, but nothing the past couple of days. I did do Yoga last night. That is just a stretching bonus, with no calories burned expected.
I suppose I should get at it. The sun is shining in a day they said just rain THEN snow. I think it's the man above letting us know exactly who is in charge.
I will stop by later for a visit to see who is up and about in the cat world.

Aloha, Long and Lovelies!
It's Friday Eve! Looking forward to a weekend with just my DH. We always have fun. We are talking about steaming lobster tails and having champagne at home to celebrate our anniversary, since we didn't really do anything before. I think it will be fun.
DS had a fun afternoon yesterday - he even said it was the most fun he has had in a long time! Some friends from down the block came over and asked if he could play. They ran around outside for a while, ran around inside the house for a while - that sort of thing. It was so great to see that finally come to fruition. Then we had pizza & movie night, watching "The Incredibles." That movie is just good.
T, I hope you can still carve out time for exercise. It is so key, in my opinion. Congrats on the fat jeans getting loose - that always feels awesome!
Frieda, just ugh. I hated snow in April. Just hated it. It's been cooler down here, but not like anything up north. How do you like doing yoga? DH and I have been trying to do more.
Alrighty, meetings are always lurking. Hugs to all!!!!

Good morning T and Frieda!
I didn't get my blue dot yesterday but I did track that bowl of delicious ice cream!! Somehow the scale didn't notice this morning.
Lunch plans with DH today...he's doing a 1/2 day job this morning so we'll sneak off to a restaurant near my work before he heads to his next job this afternoon.
T, I wish my jeans were looser...good job on tracking!!
Frieda, hope that snow isn't too wicked for you. At least it melts quickly this time of year.
Hugs and waves to all the CATs!!

Enjoying the new-found CaT commitment to blue dots! Assuming that means staying OP. Our conference is tomorrow so it's been kind of crazy here, but looking forward to some70 degree weather the next few days!

Hi CATs. Quick check in here. My WW meeting was this morning and I was down 5.2 pounds for the week. Granted, much of that came from my weekend in Charleston just before, but still heading in the right direction. It was sad looking at my WW tracker and seeing just how much I had really gained since July when I attended my last meeting. I can sure pack it on in a hurry and it takes so long to get rid of. I'm actually 12 pounds higher now than I was this time last year and 22 higher than my low in July. Oh well. If I'll track carefully and exercise, I can get back into my summer clothes and back to where I was by mid summer. So, here we go! Those cold hard numbers are going to help me combat the night time lapses I've had two nights this week I hope.
Must get back to it.

Hello friends.
Love that the motivation is gaining and we are picking up people! Hi Karla!!!
Susan - take the 12, 22 lbs and move forward. I decided I need to stop thinking about WHERE I was last year at this time and just forge ahead. What's the term, "no use crying over spilled milk"? I found a pic from last year and had a moment for that person...I can and will get back there. Just need to get my head in it - you can, too! Do you need some in -between clothes? I bet those beautiful cabi linen pants still work?
Lynne, de-grammafied - sounds like a success! Any bites on LJH? what about that furniture?
MCAt, good to hear DS is back to self! You paint such a youthful carefree pic. Ahhh.
T - ya for lose fat jeans! I buttoned my tightest pants today. Score. The pants Linda sent me fit great, and then I ripped them out. WHOOPS. I haven't seen the scale move, probably because of TOM.
Shari - it finally stopped raining! Sunshine and wind, but I will take it.
Andrea - do you still have snow? when does at-work start again?
Where is Martha?
Mememem: went to OTF for the first time in CR last night. It was good. That was my goal this week, once. I have two sessions a week booked/week for the rest of April. I hope to advance to 3x before May. One BDD this week, but I am tracking! and earning FP!BBQB said he is tracking again, too. We will go to our meeting in KC this weekend. I'm ready! It will be the final time at the house and I guess that's sad? Out of sight out of mind? We do have some final work to tackle on random stuff. Hope the yard isn't too tall because I don't have a lawnmower!
Question: Can I drop 30# by Sept/Oct? I expect my last dress fitting to be around then...or at least be a few sizes smaller! I'm liking my new city.
