NO EXCUSES
* This is a daily thread for those who want to live by the philosophy that you CAN be ON PLAN EVERY DAY, whether you are doing SFT or counting points for ALL foods! * You aren't doing this to brag; you are doing it for YOU! Because YOU are WORTH IT and because WW has made this totally DOABLE! * WW gives you a lot of freedom and a LOT of options that make it quite possible to live this lifestyle EVERY DAY. * You know that this philosophy keeps you on the straight and narrow. If you give yourself an excuse to go off plan today, there will ALWAYS be another excuse tomorrow. * SO, there are NO EXCUSES!!! * This is your LIFESTYLE and it is a lifestyle you enjoy and you live it daily. * Hopefully your participation here will not only inspire YOU but will inspire OTHERS too! YES, you CAN be ON PROGRAM EVERY DAY.

Better Angle
Positioned comfortably by the TV this wintry evening? Americans,on average, watch nearly four hours of television daily—potentially a lot of sitting time. Yet we all know, fitting more movement into leisure time offers more long-term health benefits.
Get more from your TV time today. • Take a commercial action break! You’ve got 10 to 12 minutes during a 30-minute network show to get up and do a quick household chore. • Watch a show that “moves” you. Work out with a cable TV exercise program or dance to a televised concert. • Dust off the exercise bike, put it by the TV. Watching the news while you cycle puts a more positive spin on the day’s events.

No TV to watch but definitely too much time in front of the computer.

TV at night. Computer during the day (with the TV on, not in my line of sight, mostly listening). I watch mostly DVRd shows so it cuts out the commercials! I do need to get back in the habit of taking periodic movement breaks.

Yeah I often have wished that I had room in the family room to set up my bike on a trainer and watch while riding. Hey even better yet would be to have the bike hooked up to a generator to power the TV huh???
Yeah we DVR a lot of shows to zip thru the commercials etc.

Same here. It's on most of the time that I'm in the house but sometimes just as background. I crash there when I'm really tired and usually end up falling asleep. Movement's important so I will try and get up more often or just plop there in front of it less. Great idea Bob! I do have the small pedaler you can have your feet pedal while you sit. Having it is great. Using it would be better!
