It is a beautiful sunny day and I am looking forward to spending some time outside. My daughter and I will go buy coffee beans and some produce a bit later. Breakfast this morning was avocado on toast topped by an egg with stewed tomatoes and we had coffee to drink. Hubby is in Beirut and will return sometime later today.
Cherry: I kind of want to bake something with my daughter. I am not sure what it will be but perhaps biscotti or cookies or a cake or pizza or...something. It sounds like you were VERY busy with much to do in town!
Beverly: How nice to have your grandson overnight and be able to do fun memorable things with him!
Pam: A slight expected gain is one you can nip in the bud by hitting that reset key - hooray!
Lynn: Hope you are enjoying the holidays!

Good morning. I did have a productive day in town. Yesterday I tried a new bar recipe, Creme Brulee bars. They are very rich, but they are so good. With all the calories included in a really good bar.
Today I need to fulfill a soap order and get it delivered. I need to wrap and label the soap, which doesn't take all that long, and today will be the best day. Tomorrow the weather will deteriorate.
I'm seriously thinking of postponing Christmas until New Years. There is a strong possibility of a major storm starting tomorrow and lasting into Monday with snow, strong winds, and blizzard conditions. I don't want to see my son or grandson driving anywhere in that. Besides, with strong winds and blowing snow, my yard will fill in and nobody will be able to get out. I'll make my decision later this afternoon.

Late tonight, beaches!!
Hope everyone is ok. Sooo many food temptations this time of year!!!
Wedding is still set for next Friday!!! They have been "friends" for 8 yrs, so it has been a really long time coming. I have my fingers crossed. She has been widowed for almost 11 yrs & living alone all that time, he has been divorced for 30 yrs!! & living alone most of that time.. They must be both really set in their ways!!
