Dinner last night was delicious although when I first read the menu nothing jumped out. They have changed so many things and getting too fancy. I had pan seared flounder with a shrimp sauce on top of lemon rice and steamed spinach. We also had champagne and yummy bread and wine. Topped off with a chocolate mousse torte. Needless to say, I'm up on the scale. Have not been very conscientious and I need to be very good this week. I am below goal but heading to my yellow zone. Book club, dinner with DS and his family that are moving to Wisconsin. Also we'll celebrate DIL birthday. Tomorrow, off to Tallahassee for the spring football game with BF. We leave the hubbies so we can go shopping. What are you doing for fun Friday?

Happy Friday to All. Linda, enjoy your shopping. Glad you had a good anniversary celebration. Sounds like busy time.
Getting furnace and AC cleaned and annual service this morning. Always good to get that out of the way.
Love my Fridays. Cold air made its way down from the north overnight but at least our t-storm weather has passed. There is some wind today with the cold but warm will return some Sunday and into next week. I may do some weeding in the cool this morning while they are doing the services.
Never made it to the WW meeting yesterday but recorded weight here at home. I am hoping to see the log jam of weight move sometime this month. I guess I am lucky this 15 months round of WW as this is the first "plateau" I have experienced.
Hope everyone has great plans for the weekend.

Good morning Linda, Thyme and ATF!
I have not been there myself in quite some time and that sounds a little disappointing the way seem to have changed the menu. I am glad you were able to find something you like. Have a safe and fun trip to Tallahassee!
Special Olympics is at the high school tomorrow and the marching band is doing the opening ceremonies. Followed by a fund raiser car wash. Always a fun and busy day for DD's but what a great thing for them to do for a good cause. Love watching the athletes.
TGIF - for sure!
Have a great fun Friday!

Hey lmenglish , glad you had fun and some good awareness, too! I am also on the edge of my green/yellow zone, so will follow your lead. Nothing too crazy exciting today, but a bus ride into Cambridge for a haircut, which sounds like fun to me! I am telling myself I have the brain power to tackle a new knitting technique, but haven't convinced myself yet. I imagine J is going to be practicing every night before Easter that he doesn't have a service, so I'm going to run out of excuses pretty soon. A baby shower tomorrow...and that WILL be fun, for sure! DDIL just had her 18 week sonogram yesterday and I have a new collection of photos. Have a good one! Waving to dina and thyme2. And Beth you are right, learning how to keep going when it's not easy, is so part of the deal.

Good morning! Linda, the meal sounds yummy, esp. the choc. mousse torte!
I'm packing and getting ready to leave for a fun weekend in Dallas with DH. We're having dinner with my sister and her family tonight and then will be visiting with friends on Sat./Sun. We'll be back Sunday afternoon.
I'm also on the edge of the green/yellow zone so I'll be making good food decisions this weekend!

Good Friday Morning Everyone
@imenglish great to hear you had a good time last night.
Sounds like you all have nice plans for the weekend which thankfully starts today!
I have some errands and chores followed by pizza and a movie tonight.
I'm convinced that I am just the staff as far as my cat is concerned but, that's a story for another time.
Have a great day!

Good morning everyone! The rain had FINALLY stopped here, but it's COLD (34 degrees this morning), but its supposed to be up in the 70s by Sunday! YEA! I'm hoping to get some yard work done weekend!
My MIL had another follow up with the ENT yesterday and all is good. She goes back in 6 weeks for another follow up and they will then talk about the surgery to put in the one way valve so she can talk again! Oh, and her shingles are healing (thank god)!
I hope you all have a great day and weekend!!!

I'm IN.
There's nothing fun about this Friday in DivaLand. There is an early deadline for the 4/16 issue plus crossover with the current week's problems & crises.
Such fun!

Neen, good news about your MIL.
Doo, your comment about your cat made me chuckle. Oliver Twisted thinks he should have breakfast served before I even get a sip of coffee. The nerve!!
Where the heck is spring? Another dreary cloudy chilly day.
Feeling very tired today. Just getting ready to call to find out what time my eye surgery is on Monday. Once the second eye is done then I can get checked for cataracts as it will finally be safe to dilate my pupils.
Hit a couple of grocery stores this morning. At my produce place where fruit & veggies are usually cheaper than the supermarket, lettuce was $2.49 a head. No,thanks. So I bought tomatoes, cukes, red onion & then went to the salad bar and got my lettuce. Even the packaged lettuce was expensive.
Well, time for a little rest. BBL.

linda72, I had a total brain lapse the other day and meant to answer a question you had asked about the site being slow. I too was dragging and kept getting the "oops" message and even asked Rad if she was having site issues. Then I saw your comment the next day and I am thinking it was the server for our area, the issue seems to have cleared up now. Let me know if your problem hasn't. Was just doing laundry and it popped into my head that I hadn't answered you, I am sorry π
