Good Morning Challengers!
Yesterday I did all 6 of my main HHs, stayed in my 💚 zone of pts 🔵 Healthy Eating Zone. One day at a time. I discovered that Friday I had double tracked an item and actually was in my green zone of pts Friday.
My “KISS” HHs (Keep it Simple and Specific) - Avoid salted snacks: 💚 - JGTB: 💚
2 microhabits: - “50 pushaways”: 💚 - “No seconds with snack”: 💚
Habit change: It’s a process - mind, body, emotions, spirit. It takes time and repetition. For me, Prayer + Practice + Patience + Perseverance = Progress
Yesterday we walked 3 mi to and along the bluff above the beach, picked up takeout lunch, and went by the office. Even though it was clear and sunny on shore, the fog was so thick on the water that we couldn’t see the ships or the harbor. We had lunch out on the deck and spent the afternoon out there. So nice.
DH has made air dried spicy tofu bites for our Super Bowl party - uh, that’s us. 🥳 But we also plan to walk to get takeout food early.
I’m reading a good book “Simon the Fiddler” by Paulette Jiles - takes place in TX at the end and after the Civil War. Also we’re watching a good TV show “Island at War” set in 1940 on the British Channel Islands under German occupation, on Amazon Prime.
AMY - so sorry about the kitchen fire in your neighbor’s apt. But glad Scott was there to be with you. Maybe this will help you get MOW.
Be well and take care, for ourselves, and for each other.

SNOWY SUNDAY!
We're on day #2 of a predicted 3 days of snow. Fred is running out of places to throw the snow he scoops. Today, it's only about 3° -- too cold for me to walk, for sure!
CAIT -- I hope you can take a nap after a night of poor sleep. I take a nap now whether I need one or not! Oh, I had to quarantine because I had a cold. Doc said my immune system was lower because of the cold, and she didn't want me to risk another virus. OK! Our Yellowstone trip is in two weeks!!!
AMY -- the fire sounds like a terrible ordeal for you! I hope you didn't have to walk back up to the 7th floor! I hope you can get your food prep issues resolved. I'm a fan of MOW, for sure!
Actually, I probably won't go to water aerobics tomorrow because we don't have snow tires.
I didn't walk today, but I did stretch. Tomorrow I'll break down and do a WATP or something.

No the fireman reset the elevators after and we took that to the seventh floor.I emailed the originator of her suggestion other people can plug ion the oven and it won't catch on fire. I told her the ovens here were not safe and th3e firefighter told me to unplug the oven and told her that her supervisor said the new team 2would decided. I emailed my Psychiatrist mew new doctor and bone doctor telling them about a fire and asking them to support vegetarian meals on wheels afternoon and evening.

Good Morning!!
Bad weekend with eating and not tracking. Only added 3 miles Fri-Sun. we had a little snow yesterday morning. At Church some of the bulletins had $50 dollars in them. The purpose was to bless someone with it. We gave ours to one of our neighbors. They just had a baby and have several children.
Cait: Great job with all those good days.
Carol: Quarantine sounds like a good idea. Enjoy the snow.
Amy: So sorry that you had to experience another fire. I hope everything will work out with you getting some assistance with meals.
Waving to all!! Happy Walking!!

Yesterday we walked 2.2 mi for takeout breakfast, had our late breakfast on the deck, and then in afternoon we walked 1.5 mi to get takeout dinner, and lunch for DH. I had my half lunch leftover from Saturday. We stayed on the deck until Super Bowl game started. So 3.7 mi for the day.
KELLY - sorry about the “lost weekend” but the 3 mi added is something to celebrate. I always figure “At least I did that. I did something helpful.” The church $50 outreach sounds like a lovely idea.
AMY - I’m so sorry your neighbor had that kitchen fire and you had the scary experience. I hope you get the MOW approved and the support you need about the oven, food and cooking
CAROL - I didn’t nap Sat - it takes a serious deficit for me to purposely nap. Yes 3 degrees F is too cold for a walk especially if there’s any wind 🥶 Oh I see about the quarantine as a self protection. The Yellowstone trip should be fun & invigorating 😄 Won’t you need snow tires for the trip?
Be well and take care, for ourselves, and for each other.

MONDAY, MONDAY!
CAIT— Wow! It’s not every day you see a peacock on a walk! Is it a neighbor? Good job on your good day! We decided to fly to Bozeman for our Yellowstone trip; there are just too many variables with weather, roads, and such, for us to drive. I think it’s about 1,000 miles!
KELLY — An “off “ weekend won’t set you back too much; I know you’ll get right back on track! The $50 blessing is a wonderful idea, and I know your neighbor appreciates it!
AMY — I hope you can get MOW. Here the meals are only delivered at noon, but I know several clients who would split that one meal into two.
It’s likely to be too cold to walk outside anytime soon, so I’ll need to walk w/Leslie S. on days I don’t go to water aerobics. I did a 3-mile WATP this afternoon. I just muted the tv and listened to a couple of my podcasts.

Good Morning!!
I had a good Monday. Tracked and stayed OP. We were to get some snow but looks like it missed us. Another one headed our way for later this week. I added 4 miles yesterday.
Cait: You are on a roll. Great job. Beautiful picture of the Peacock.
Carol: Good job with doing the WATP. I listen to my podcasts while doing my morning workout, too.
Waving to all. Happy Walking!!

Yesterday we walked 2 mi.
The peacock seems to be a known “resident” of that neighborhood. Maybe escaped from a yard or abandoned. But he struts quite confidently, seems to know where he’s going. 😄
KELLY - GFY with the OP day, tracking and 4 mi. Podcasts is a good audio solution for the WATP.
CAROL - wow I didn’t realize it was that far from NE to MT. GFY with the WATP and podcasts.
Be well and take care, for ourselves, and for each other.

TUESDAY!
KELLY -- good job getting back on track. That's one good thing about Mondays; it gives us a "start over" day.
CAIT -- good job on another good day! I wonder what the peacock eats -- seeds, I guess.
AMY -- I hope the doctor's note will help you get your meals brought in. Is MOW the only option for that?
I went to the other gym for the afternoon water aerobics class (2 miles). Interestingly, of the 9 people in the class, 4 were wearing masks. There is plenty of room for distancing. I don't know anyone, so I wasn't tempted to talk (I usually only talk a little in class anyway). I came home, had a snack, and stretched. Back to my MWF routine tomorrow, I hope!
