This thread was started before the dawn of time by Amazons who needed to compare their stats with other Amazons. Over time it grew into a community of incredible women who try to keep their spirits in the clouds and their feet on the ground, moving toward health. Most of us start at 5'7 and go up from there, from young singles to wise and lively elders of the tribe. We welcome newcomers who are willing to be kind and share a bit of their lives.

We are cross-posting, MCat. Wishing you a beautiful start to your weekend. It's gorgeous here. I'm in a rush as always, with a guest arriving tonight and shared friends coming over. The house is what it is. I made spicy meatballs last night, slapped the sauce on them this morning, and they are ready to warm. It's an appetizer pot luck.
Working with teens just seems to be new shades of crazy every day. Just when you think something has settled down, a new gopher jumps up and spooks you.
No blue dot yesterday but okay, still within my weeklies, and the scale was down a mite today.
Back to it.

Aloha, Long and Lovelies!
Not sure in which world I actually start the thread, but here we are and here I am! Happy Friday! I just thought freakishly was funny....
And for those of you needing something just really stupid and funny, here you go: www.youtube.com/watch?v=evlgtSK-c3k We have been giggling to this for the last 24 hours.....
Colleen, can you lose 30 pounds by October? So, if you do the math, that's 6 months, which breaks down to 5 pounds/month. Just over 1 pound/week. Now, we all know that not all pounds are created equal. Some pounds come off one ounce at a time. Some just leave, without any explanation. So, the math works! Just remember to not beat yourself up over it, if you don't get there. You are beautiful just how you are, and this is a special time - you need to enjoy it, not stress over it. Easier said, I know.......Keep us posted! Are you completely moving out of your house this weekend, then?
Susan!!! 5.2 pounds is awesome! Good for you! I think Colleen gives great advice about not looking back, but looking forward.
Karla, hope the conference goes well and the 70 degrees arrive!
Andrea, I think we all need to have that ice cream once in a while!
So, what's new in everyone else's world? I'll come check back later. Aloha!

I knew yesterday that it wouldn't be a Blue Dot Day, but I did go out to dinner, and figured it as 22 points! That includes a drink. Overall it set me at 38 points for the day. I'm cool with it.
Susan, Congrats on your loss!! I think you needed that mentally to propel yourself back on track. Continue your success and continue tracking. Did you see the cute stemless wineglasses at the WW center? I bought them. You should get them for MM's house. That way you are conscious of how many points you are drinking.
Enjoy your alone time Mcat. Happy Anniversary! You two look alike.
I've got to get my walk in tonight. There is snow now, and this weekend is supposed to be sunny!
Sorry I'm out of time.

This week seems to have gone freakishly fast.
No blue dots for me this week. Have gone over my daily, weekly & activity points. I did get activity in 4x, so far, this week.
Very blustery windy outside this morning. Have gone out to make sure nothing flying around. So far, so good.
Dinner tonight is stirfry vegetables with rice noodles. I'll be lite handed with the soy sauce. Tomorrow morning is weigh in.
Off to fill my water jug....
Hugs
