Today I take credit for attending a virtual WW meeting, tracking, weighing and measuring, keeping the right food in the house, and keeping up with my support network. I am grateful my husband and I are still healthy.

Credit for journaling eating for 3 days. Credit for getting back to exercise after being away. Credit for years of strength training and aerobic training that made me able to do 2 hours of snow shoveling when we got back home after being away, and with only some fatigue the next day and no soreness or aching muscles and joints.

Do you have any historical data that can inspire you to get back into the groove when you need to? Do you have such thing as weight records, records of your measurements, journal entries, pictures, food tracker history to help motivate you?

I would have to dig them out now if I still have them but I use to compare my current blood test results with the ones just before I started WW. That would make me feel good. This time on WW I think my tracking has always been online so I don't have any old food trackers to refer to when looking for meal plans that have worked before. I've been maintaining so long the only records I still have are of me at goal weight, but I remember my starting weight. Never recorded my measurements or kept a journal. I do have some pictures of me at a high weight but none at my highest weight. Wouldn't look at them for the longest time, then I did a few picture compares and posted them. Right now what motivates me is what motivated me in the beginning, staying healthy.

My goals are to go to a WW virtual meeting, to keep tracking, weigh and measure, keep the right food in the house, and to keep up with my support network. My me-time is my computer, puzzle, and reading time.

Historical data - I have my WW weight-in books going back to late 2009, and I have my own exercise and weight logs - handwritten notebooks - going back earlier than that. I look at them maybe once a year just out of curiosity and to see where I've been over the years. I don't necessarily find them inspirational. Some of them show weight gains that I had a lot of trouble stopping.
Exercise changes - yes I've seen changes over the years - my muscles are much more visible today than they were years ago - I love seeing that and it inspires me to keep up my exercise.

My husband and I get take-out from a local pizza place. I usually get a chicken, bacon, ranch dressing wrap from them. This last time I tasted my husband's pasta dish and next time I'm going to get it instead.

bbbearsmom, Well now that you're talking about a great pasta dish that you plan to order for yourself, I'd love to know more about it - I'll enjoy it vicariously! I recently ate a dish with homemade seitan in a vegetable stew, with the family I was visiting. I've eaten seitan before, but only in a restaurant. New to me was that it could be homemade. It was great, and I've got the recipe now.
