Hey howdy! Time for a new challenge! Okay, for a lot of us the weather is pretty miserable and when you toss in the pandemic, who wants to exercise? BUT it's a short month, just 28 days, so turn those frowns upside down and let's challenge ourselves to exercise everyday for 28 days! You are already fabulous, let's get fit too!
WELCOME EVERYONE anytime and yes you can walk/jog/run or combo, cycle, spin, swim, aerobic classes, elliptical machine, yoga, Pilates, strength train and core work too!
Each week you set and post your own attainable mileage/minutes goal and strive to achieve it. Saturday through Friday is our fitness week with Saturday morning weigh-ins(WI). WIs are encouraged but optional. There is no judgement here!
This challenge runs the month of February.

Good morning! Woohoo, it's Saturday and our challenge is to work those abs!
Daily Challenges:
Mon- 3x30 seconds planks
Tues- work those arms
Wed- 3x30 seconds crunches
Thur- work those arms
Fri- self appreciation day
Saturday- 3x30 seconds abs -you choose!
Sun- work those arms
EVERYDAY- walk 1 mile!

Good Morning!
I changed my Avatar here. This is a pic of Jim and me about 9 years ago in Gettysburg. I was 180 pounds or so . I had lost weight to fit into the dress for my nephews wedding. We had a great time! I want that motivation back. I feel some of it, as I had a decent week of telling myself that I can make better choices.

I just read all the daily challenges I love the changes. I got my first shot yesterday my arm is pretty sore.

Good morning! Thanks for starting us Mo!
Sorry all! I didn't realize I've been missing all week. It was a really stressful week at work but it's behind me now, thank god for long weekends! I'm actually pretty pleased that I basically maintained in spite of how rough of a week it was. I credit watching a show on the amazon prime channel (Jeremy has it and set it up on my TV). It's a weight loss show but it's focus is more on treating yourself with respect and loving your body, every part of it, and giving yourself credit and focusing on every little victory you have. It sounds corny but it's been helping me -I had a big loss last week and then maintained this week after a really rough week at work, that included people unfairly dumping on me. I've been playing the "You are beautiful" song by Christina Aguilera in my head and focusing on everytime I do something good for myself, like a YouTube step class or lifting weights or doing my planks or walking on my TM. The show is called "The Inner Weigh" and it's a bit long and definitely corny but it seems to have helped!
Mo, I love your new avatar! I hope it's helps you with your motivation! And that your motivation rubs off on me, lol!
Hi Brenda! Yay! I'm glad you're getting the vaccine! I wish I could so I could go back to the gym! I'm glad you like the changes to the daily challenges. It just seemed like time to shake things up a bit, hopefully to get motivation back on track.
Isn't weird to think we would all be happy to be 180 again?!
C'mon, we can do this!

Catching up on this past week! Mo, WTG on giving up on the suds this month! You're a good example for me -lent starts this week and I've been debating on what to give up. I think it'll be sweets, they are my downfall.
Amy, jeesh a fire! I hope the smell is gone! I don't understand about plugging in the oven? You need it plugged in, a stove is way too heavy to move back and forth to plug in? I hope all works out with your new(old) doctor.

I have trauma from 2 fires and too afraid to plug in oven. My new former doctor wrote to that affect. I cook on an infusion plate and copper chef. I dont plug in oven I dont cook with it. I made today chick peas and broccoli with vegetable broth. Minced onion and garlic. I ate oatmeal for breakfast and having this the rest of the day. Brenda I get my vaccine first March 12. I put in 2 cans can of chick peas and a 16 ounce bag of frozen broccoli;..

I weigh 202 my e-tools was expanded to July 1 so I can go back in June.
