Happy Valentines Day all.
Kathy I would gladly take that 20 degrees and even more if you have more to spare. We are not sure on the one propane tank. It may be a bad regulator because the propane tank for the gas heater works.
Everyone must be busy today. Baby it's cold outside. It is now 20 degrees with a feel like of 7 degrees. The low for tomorrow is predicted to be 9-10 degrees with possible real feels of 10-15 below zero. This is a first for our area. We have power and wi-fi but no water so Kenneth is outside looking to see if he can find a problem. He had already dripped faucets in the master bath and there isn't any water there either. Roads are slick as glass a friend told us. I feel sorry for the police and first responders. We are expecting a high of 17 tomorrow. I watched TWC today and Baltimore was warmer than we are. The meteorologists on all Austin channels are just overwhelmed. I hope they are all wrong.

Becky, I hadn't thought about the cold affecting your propane. The second year we were here, we had a really cold few days ours quit working. The propane company came and put an additive in it and it's been fine ever since. I guess you can't do that with smaller tanks. Sorry the water is off. Right now isn't a problem, but it could cause major issues after the weather warms up. I wonder if your well pump might be frozen. Do you think APD will promote the interim like they did Manley or if they will have a nationwide search? I've known of even small departments who won't hire internally for two executive positions in a row. Will be interesting to see what they do. Do they still have the female fire chief?
We had our sushi for Valentine's Day on Thursday, Linda, so nothing planned here. I haven't heard of The Dig. I may need to look it up. We watched Mr. Jones, a based on a true story of the guy who broke the story of starvation in Russia and Ukraine in 1933. It was intense and would have been better to watch in the middle of summer because it was brutally cold with snow for a good part of the movie. The title character was killed by the Russians in Mongolia a couple of years later. They were still apparently really upset about the starvation being exposed.
Kathy, congrats on another successful grocery order. It's good that your t-storms didn't last very long. Do the trees turn red every year or is this something different due to the weird weather? Did you see Men In Kilts?
Chele, did you have more bad weather? Dale said this morning that it looks like Ohio here. And it will be that way for most of the week. I did see a bluebird, so spring should be coming.
I had a GF Zoom today, with half a dozen of us. It was nice to catch up. One of the gals and her DH got symptomatic covid and got monoclonal antibodies. She said they were both feeling better in a couple of days, unlike my other GF who still trying hard to recover, even though she's been home for 5 days. She has home health coming daily and is experiencing the brain fog. I've told Dale if I get it that I want the antibodies no matter where he needs to take me to get them.

Linda It is cold. It is 19 right now with real feel of 4 degrees.
Karen It is something to do with our pump but it's high up on a pole and Kenneth's eyes aren't the best so when it's safe a neighbor is coming tomorrow to see if he can tell what's wrong. I had already made coffee for tomorrow so we are good for in the morning. Coffee is always a priority.

Becky, I wish I could send you some of our heat. I just saw that a Federal Emergency Declaration was issued for TX. I hope you can get the water back in the morning, but that's good that you have your coffee! I hope the actual temps don't turn out as bad as the forecasts.
Karen, we have Florida maples that turn red every year, but they are in the minority of the trees around here. I just happened to notice some had turned when I went to DM's yesterday. We also have sycamores that turn gold, but they seem to do it on more of a regular fall schedule. It's nothing like the color change where you are since there aren't that many of them compared to the evergreens and palms. I haven't seen Men in Kilts yet, but will catch it on demand or on one of the repeats. Did you see it?
Linda, yikes on that 1 degree temp in Austin on Tuesday night.
