Lou, too funny on your Valentine plans. Looks like you are having bad weather.
Debbie, yes I was lucky on getting the shot. My county just raised the age from 65 to 74. I’m 67 and lucked out getting an appointment with CVS.
Vicki, how are you feeling?
Waving to Virginia and Lori
Not sure what exercise I’ll do today but I need to get up and move.

Good morning, folks.
It's a bit chilly here by local standards. Everyone is losing their minds because they've never spent a winter in the Midwest, don't own a proper coat or only have four wheel drive because that's the trim of truck with heated seats.
Cecilia and I have offered to walk the neighbor's dog for them, but it's like the dogs seem to say "I think I'll poop right here in the house, thank you very much."

Happy Monday, Brenda - thanks for starting us this week. I hope you are doing something fun. Louis - sounds like a great Valentine’s Day. Ted’s reading about the freeze in Texas, 8 degrees in Dallas in crazy cold. I hope you can stay in and stay warm. Lori - yippee yahoo on your day off !!
Today was body pump and body stretch. I love Les Mills on demand. Then I took a walk. Later Ted and I walked to pickup the foam we order to renew the sofa. I’m hoping adding 2 inch foam will make the cushions like new. So steps are done. Debbie.

Hello,
Happy Monday, everyone! No holiday for me but I am thankful that I didn't have to drive today.
Brenda, that is great that you got your 1st dose of the vaccine! I have DH signed up on a call list in case there are extras. His (our) age group should open up soon. I'm going to have to rearrange my office and try my Leslie workouts again and see if my foot will tolerate them.
Lori, wow! Great to see you. I hope that you had a super relaxing day off.
Lou, just wait...another three to five years in that warmer climate and your blood will thin, lol. I doubt that you will forget how to drive in the snow, though. I hope you were able to keep your power on. I have a co-worker in Waco who was experiencing rolling power outages due to the grid being overloaded. The WW severance might get you a treat at your fave coffee shop if you're lucky.
Debbie, I hope that the foam rejuvenates the couch. I envy you having nice weather and being able to get outside and walk! Enjoy the fresh air for me, please.
Vicki, it is SUCH great news that you only had one layer of skin removed. I hope that the healing is quick.
We had such an exciting Valentine's Day, too. DH has been sick for a few days and I ended up making an appointment at an urgent care for him to be seen. I don't think he was exactly happy with me, but he kept the appointment. Flu test came back negative, COVID test results aren't in yet. Whatever he has is evidently viral, so of course it has to run its course. He's seldom sick so this concerns me. I asked him on Thursday if he was okay and he brushed me off. He wasn't fooling me, though. By Saturday he didn't even try to brush me off, and he had a serious fever. I'm hoping (of course) that the COVID test is negative. He's still feeling miserable, I hope this passes soon.
I am missing my outdoor walks and my walking buddies. We are hoping by Saturday we can do a parking garage walk or mall walk. When I checked just before dark, it looked like we have about 5" of snow here. More is coming later this week. Thank goodness I do not have to get out in it. I learned how to drive on this stuff but other drivers scare the bejeebers out of me.
Time to start getting ready for bed.
Take care, Ginia

Happy Tuesday, Virginia - I’m sorry your DH is sick. I hope.the results come back quickly. Missing walks is terrible but spring is right around the corner. I have been enjoying lots of fresh air.
Today was ladies beach day , four made it today. The restaurants are still closed so we bring picnic lunches. I prefer it.
Be happy everyone. Debbie

Hello, Happy Tuesday evening, everyone. Debbie, thanks for the good wishes. My fresh air today was walking to the mailbox in the snow. Wind chills were below zero or in single digits today. Not a nice day to get out. DH's COVID test was negative, thankfully. He is still sick. I hope this stuff passes soon, he is so miserable. We are forecast to get more precipitation tomorrow. I hope it is a big fat zero for snow, freezing rain, sleet and ice. Our next door neighbor cleared his driveway this afternoon. The neighbor across the road has been in & out a couple of times. The last time I looked no one else appeared to have either driven out or had their driveway cleared. Time to get ready for bed. Tomorrow evening I think I will do something super exciting...update my resume. Oh, joy. I hope that Lou has power, water and internet service. Texas is not used to dealing with the cold and snow. My co-worker in Waco still had rolling power outages today. They have a fireplace so that has helped a lot. Waving hi to Brenda, Vicki and Lori. Good night, Ginia

Good morning.
Still no power and nowhere to ride it out. There are times when being a transplant to a city - like not having a network of friends with spare rooms - sucks. This is one of those times.

Happy Wednesday, Virginia - the negative result is great. Are you looking for a new job? Louis - I have a spare room and power. Is it time to head to Brazil?
Today I just did body pump. Then spent most of the day shopping for gifts and goodies for a friends birthday together tomorrow. We have to meet at the beach since we can’t visit in others homes.
Cava on the beach is never a bad thing.

Hello,
Lou, I am sorry that you’re having to deal with all that... I hope that the utilities are restored soon. My Waco coworker had to take PTO today...the power went off in the wee hours and didn’t come back on. Ugh...
Debbie thank you. Regarding the resume, I need to get it uploaded at work as part of ensuring a new talent repository has my info. It gets reviewed for potential internal opportunities. We’re also heading for yet another round of reorg/transformation, so having it ready for either a new internal or external opportunity is in my best interest.
DH is still ill but seems to be a bit better today. I hope this crud passes soon.
More snow is heading our way. I hope it fizzles. Schools are closed again tomorrow. If we get more snow, that may put paid to classes on Friday.
Waving hi to Brenda, Vicki and Lori.
G’night, Ginia

Good morning all, I'm sick of all this snow. ENOUGH already. I live in Central jersey near the shore not Alaska! I had the sutures removed yesterday (a day early) because I knew I wouldn't be able to get there today as AJ school is closed (snow) and he is virtual. Louis I glad your situation is improving. Virginia I'm glad DH us on the mend. AJ woke up. Bye for now.

Happy Thursday, Vicki - I’m so glad you were able to get the stitches out a day early and you will have AJ around tomorrow. Louis - yay for power and water. Virginia - more snow, yippee.
Today I did a couple Blogilates classes, delivered the birthday present. Cava on the beach was great., there were 5 of us but we spend out some and didn’t get in trouble. Debbie

Hello,
Vicki, that’s great that you were able to get the stitches out. I hope the healing process is quick. I’m with you, I am way past ready for winter to be over.
Lou, yay! I’m glad that you get to be warm again. From experience, I can say being in a frigid house for days just sucks.
Debbie, I’m seriously jealous of your warm weather. It’s so nice that you are able to get out with friends.
We got another two-ish inches of snow. No school for the local kiddos again tomorrow. We’re finally getting warmer temps this weekend.
DH seems to be feeling a bit better. I’m just as ready for him to be well as he is.
Waving hi to Brenda and Lori.
Later, Ginia
