Thanks for the prayers and well wishes. I do appreciate them.
June My church family does know we are in need but they all live near Bastrop and would like to help but just not close enough to venture out. There isn't even a warming shelter in our entire county. The mayor of Elgin wanted to open up one but the main water supply is just not working and not feasible enough to open one up. We can't even get off our property. Our county road is impassible for the second day. It's not that people don't want to help. Nobody wants to get out and we can't. A neighbor did give us some frozen ground beef and we are trying to defrost it on top of our propane heater.
Our HEB opened from 12-5 today and I heard people started lining up before 10 for a 12:00 opening. Crazy. By now I'm sure the shelves are bare.
I have felt really sick today with my tummy. I hardly ever get this kind of tummy issues anymore. It's not my IBS. Probably a combination of stress, emotionally spent(I haven't cried in years)and being upset with Kenneth's cousin who kept texting me instead of calling him. He calls her from time to time to check on her but she never calls him anymore. I told her she needs to call him. He's just like that though. He says he does his part and he doesn't have to answer to anyone because he does his part. If she doesn't call that's on her but it's also unfair to him. The lack of food just really got to me today and I cried off and on for an hour and got too hungry before we ate lunch. I am sipping on Coke Zero and munching on saltines and considering a nap.
Have a great evening ladies.

Becky, I hope your weather warms up soon. The issue with Kennethβs cousin is difficult. I am glad you have saltines because they are easy on the stomach.
I just returned from my second trip to CVS because they did not have all of Bobβs prescriptions ready the first time. I also had an earring repaired and bought two packages of pea seeds that may or may not get to Lebanon. We have lots of art Lebanese and other Middle Eastern people in Fresno so mailing the package shouldnβt be hard itβs whether it walks there or flies there.

Ann your nails sound so pretty. Mine are plain Jane right now. I should at least apply a clear coat. I do keep them trimmed down. I need them short for computer work. ((((Becky))), This is certainly a crying situation but I know you and K will make it thru! I'm sorry your stomach is acting up but I suspect you are right about the stress. Take a nap if you can and I will continue to pray that enough food/water and electric continues to show up to sustain you til warmer weather comes. Audrey, congrats to your granddaughter! and how cool that little Leo will be assisting. June, hope you get the steak if you request it MJ, hope you are warm and dry now. I'm n for the evening. Its raining and the high today was 37 in my area. So, I still need to get my walk in and type out the church bulletin. I pray we all have a good evening.

Audrey how sweet to mail the peas to Cathy. Sorry CVS didn't have the Rx ready first time around.
Becky my heart breaks for you and you surely don't need family drama on top of everything else. Praying that something GOOD happens.
LaDonna my fingernails are also kept short as I am forever cleaning or wiping down something or other. Carl loves to cook and does clean up....however his cleaning and mine are not the same lol.
Prayers for all continue.
