Welcome to the Clutter Patrol, formerly CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere

Good morning,
Appointment with neurologist went well. He liked the results of the MRA and said all is looking good. I do have to go for another angiogram in April, already getting nervous about it. Even though it’s a minimally invasive procedure it’s still invasive.
Martha - hope you’re feeling better today.
Dottie - hope the flooring project continues to go well.
Ruth - gas prices have been going up an average of $.08 a week or more since end of January. I see no end to the price hikes for a long time.
Light snow falling right now. Not much expected. We will be out of the freezer and into the fridge on Monday, temps will be in mid 30s. Looking forward to the heatwave 😀
Enjoy your day

Joyce, I LOL about getting out of the freezer and into the fridge. At least the temps are going up. Good news from the neurologist. Hope you have a good day at work today.
Martha, hope you are feeling better. ((HUGS)) Ruth, our gas is going up here also. I bought gas last Friday, $2.39 now it is $2.59 or $2.64. I guess because of the Texas weather the gas will be going up for awhile. Just hope their weather improves, can’t imagine what they are going thru. How did the cod turn out in the air fryer? Batteries and tires go quickly in Florida due to the summer heat. Our carpeting was all rippley also, especially when we would get here. After I vacuumed it looked better but not great.
The installers arrived at 7 again this morning and they did the prep, sweeping and installing the sound barrier that is required because we are on the 2nd floor. They stated putting the product in and so far we are very happy with our choice. We are having new baseboards installed also.

Good morning. Woke to beautiful sunshine. We’re with Joy on being out of the freezer and into the fridge! They are all so excited about being in the high 30’s and low 40’s here next week!!! Amazing what feels warm after it’s been -38 windchill!!!
Joy, that is good news. Will keep you in my prayers for the next test. I know they must be so scary!!! Enjoy your heat wave too. Hockey is weird right now. We looked awful on Tuesday night. First game back after 2 weeks off and have a lot of Iowa players in the lineup. Better last night. I wonder what % of the guys actually HAD covid and are recovering vs. those that were just exposed to those who actually had it. Roommates on the road possibly. How are the Sabres doing?
Dottie, I forget your carpet was over cement also. That’s the issue in our basement. The bedroom carpet is still good (not rippled), and it was installed 20 years ago by the carpet guys who did the entire house. The family room carpet was done by someone employed by Home Depot. Not impressed. Next will just be a nice luxury vinyl tile and we’ll call it good. Maybe a couple throw rugs like in front of the couch. Looking forward to seeing yours when it’s finished. You are doing bedrooms, living room, etc., correct?
Martha, hope you are feeling better today and that yesterday went ok. Hope your weather is improving too.
I need to do some housecleaning today. And a few errands. I need a couple more skeins of yarn for the blanket I need to finish. Can do curbside pick up at Michael’s. Bought Stan some new socks and will get rid of his old ones. Kohl’s curbside. And the yarn won’t be staying here so hopefully not bringing in stuff. Younger DD made me 3 new shirts (she enjoys doing it), so I will pull out 3 I don’t wear much and donate those.
Have a good day all and stay warm and safe. And so far, Stan has had no side effects from his 2nd shot!
