I'm IN.
ππ΅ππ΅ππ΅ππ΅π
Ice. Not nice. It rained overnight so this is a "top coat" to whatever is already on the ground. It is going to make the day interesting, for sure.
Lots of prep today for tomorrow's YM meeting. So far, it's still "on".
Coffee... βοΈβοΈβοΈ... hot coffee...
πππππππππππππππ Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! πππππππππππππππ

After a long week, I am IN. TGIF! The sun is out but it's 22 degrees. But my house is warm and I have water so life is good. DH and I are getting our 2nd vaccine shot this morning and I'm getting a hair cut this afternoon. I may even brave the grocery store after that. Hope all of my Texas peeps are getting their power and water back. borntexan, I especially hope you're able to get to a store soon. It's so nice of your neighbors to help you.

linda72 I am more than grateful for my neighbors. While they are really well meaning they also send junk food and after 2 days of that I was sick most of the day. Walmart is not reopening as planned. HβEβB is only open 12-5 and an employee has to go in with every person because of looting. You have to wait 2 hours outside in the cold before going in and finding near bare shelves. I get hungry but almost everything I eat makes me sick. I know this is not anyoneβs problem and you all wish they could help and your prayers do help. Glad you got your pipes fixed.

Becky I'm so sorry you're not feeling well on top of all this Stress probably isn't helping. Sending hugs for you. Once it gets above freezing today, we'll inspect all the outdoor pipes and make sure everything is good. We don't know how long the boil water order will be in effect, pressure is still low, but it's good enough to get water to boil, so we're grateful for that. And coffee, very grateful for coffee!

borntexan , Becky, hoping this misery ends for you soon. (((HUGS))) Sending good thoughts to all affected by the cold and the power outages, glad to see that the weather will be turning warmer for all of you. Good morning. 24 degrees. Snowing again, beautiful, soft and pretty and about five inches so far. Need to go out and refill the feeders but that's about it. Wishing all a peaceful day.

Good morning all! MJ thank you for getting us going. All of you with icy/snowy driveway issues just message me your address and I will be right over because I am now a pro π€£ So glad for you linda72 and fingers crossed that your pipes are okay DotRen. santex how are you doing? π³ looting at your store borntexan?!? That is really shocking. Sending hugs and prayers. If our houses and infrastructure here were actually built for subfreezing weather this would have been an absolutely beautiful and an enjoyable event. Have a great day everyone! βοΈβοΈβοΈ

Thanks for all the good wishes everyone. Water finally started trickling on at 1:30 this morning. We were told yesterday that it wouldn't be until Sunday or Monday, so this was a great surprise. Got another 4 inches of snow yesterday. Had my first shower in 4 days this morning even with low pressure and it feels great. Still boiling water, but we were very fortunate to have power and some water to boil. Grocery stores are a madhouse and those that are open are low on many things. Fortunately, my pandemic stockpile has come in handy except for fresh fruits and vegetables. Things are definitely looking up. Many others suffered so much more than we did. Will know later today if we had any broken pipes, but so far, so good.

**HUGS*** to all you Texas folks! I hope you all get some relief soon.
Nothing much to report here. I hit the gym for body pump with a friend at 8:30 this morning! It was her first class (and my millionth) and she is now hooked! We now have a date of every Friday morning! I love having a workout buddy!
I'm in and hoping for a good WI tomorrow!
I hope you all have a great day! Positive energy to all!

linda72 We only have one more night. It was 18 here this morning and expecting 24 in Austin which means 20 or lower here. We did get up to 41 today and expecting 54 tomorrow. Heat wave here we come. Let's melt that snow and ice. We have a water leak now. Our well pump froze and when it got above freezing we now have a leak under the house. We have called our handyman but we aren't high on the list right now. When it rains it dries out???
