If you hear there was an incident at CVS in Fresno today. I was there Wednesday to pick up Bob’s prescriptions but computers were done. I returned Thursday at noon but only 2 were ready. I picked up #3 that afternoon and asked about #4. Oh, no, I was told. It’s not ready for refill. Now I have a text it is ready. Bob said they want me to wallpaper the house with CVS receipts.
I will walk before breakfast and then we are going to Costco and the Market. I haven’t been to Costco since November. We are going out to dinner at Trelio so I’ll plan our choices before we go.
Stay safe and warm.

Thanks for the start June.
Audrey I'm sorry you are still dealing with CVS. I am so glad we don't have to use them. When they first came to town nobody liked them because they bought out a hometown pharmacy and I guess they do enough business to stay in business but before the storm we never saw any cars there hardly. They did need to get rid of some vaccines by 10:30 this morning. I wish I had seen it on FB but since we aren't customers I would rather let their customers have them. I do think I faintly heard a small noise coming from CA today. If it had been you I think it would have been all over the news though. LOL. I hope they get things straight. Enjoy your dinner.
Ann I hope Carl has a very Happy Birthday. He deserves it after all he does with his snow blowing.
We all have keepers for husbands I believe and I thank all of you for talking to your special men about our predicament. It won't be long and all will be right in the world again(at least my little corner of it). Thanks for all the love each and every one of you has shown me.
After we came home today and Kenneth was outside doing things he said he heard something. Now that our temp was above freezing we have a water leak. So he turned off the pump and called our handyman. It will be awhile as he is most busy but we can wait.
Prayers for all here. Sleep well all.

I will: stick with the blue plan...now into third week and so far so good. It is 52 degrees inside this morning BUT am sure it is colder at Becky's house! Hope everyone has a good weekend planned. I have dishes to do once the produce has been washed and put away. I may have to heat the water with the electric teakettle since the propane is low and there hasn't been enough sunshine to heat the water that comes from the solar on the roof. I do hope there will be enough sunshine for a shower tonight!
Okay...onward with the day! Might walk just to warm up
ANN: How long did it snow and how much piled up? Happy Birthday to Carl! Enjoy the pizza
MJ: Sounds busy with YM and sleuthing around among Russ's bank statements! Your mention of the ice on top of snow reminded me of ice skating on that sort of yard as a child when living in Iowa LONG ago!
JUNE: Popeye and Bluto...what a memory! As long as I didn't have to be their sidekick Olive Oil (or whatever her name was). The Mexican wedding dress was white cotton, long-sleeved, straight down from a gathered yoke. There was fine embroidery on the cuffs and yoke...can't remember if the dress body had embroidery or not. The embroidery was little people ... can't remember if there were flowers or not. If my daughter still has it then it would be nearly fifty years old...or older? Good luck with the grading!
SUSI: Gyros sound tasty. What do you put in them? I hope you managed t he roads and work and getting the tax info to the accountant. Will you be exercising inside? I hope you stay warm!
BEE: Do you feel different 20 pounds lighter? You should feel MUCH lighter on your feet!
AUDREY: I feel so sorry for your neighbor. I hope her family manages to weather this rough patch. Thank you for looking for and sending seeds. Will let you know if/when they arrive.
BECKY: I am THRILLED that your post on the church group ended up bringing you and abundance of food you were then able to share with your generous neighbors!
LADONNA: What do you do if Laken brings a bear home? Do she and her hunting buddies divide up the meat? I would imagine bears provide more meat than deer do? And, what happens to the skins of animals that they hunt? What does bear taste like?
I agree with ALL of YOU that we have husbands that are keepers!

Good morning friends. I slept very well last night. Was exhausted all day yesterday and now I feel refreshed Cathy I'd say we got at least 7" of snow. It snowed on and off all day long and never did switch to rain which was a good thing. Our pizza last night was delicious. Carl is still deciding about his bday meal. He will have fun spending the gift card I got him for Amazon. Becky I hope that the handyman makes it in time to fix the leak. It's always something (((hugs))) Add me to the list of not liking CVS. Through the city of Worcester I have my Rx mailed from Caremark which is part of CVS. At times they are frustrating to reach and deal with but at least I don't have to GO there. For all other Rx we used Walgreens which used to be Rite Aid. I preferred the later but at least the same Pharmacists are there. Waving and wishing all a wonderful day. Here here for our 'keeper husbands'

Good morning
Ann Smiling as I think about Carl's "party" weekend. Audrey How frustrating. Sounds like CVS should have a revolving door. Wonder why CVS could not hold Bob's RXs until all four were filled. Enjoy your meal at Trelio. Becky We are fortune in our friendships and "keepers." Hope that you & others impacted by this storm system see a light at the end of the tunnel. Am hopeful that more aid is coming to your area & other regions. Cathy WW Blue seems to have the scale moving in the right direction for you. The160s are yours to lock in. Love reading about your wedding dress. How unique!
Was insanely pleased that I finished all the tasks related to grading by 6ish last night. Also did everything related to opening the next module.

Saturday's goals Assist R--if he wants help--w/ roasted turkey dinner. LOL. It's colder outside than it is in our refrigerator. So he the large stock pot with the brined turkey is onthe back porch. Have some cleaning & sorting on my radar. Bubble bath is also onthe agenda.
Will try to check back later. Planning to give my eyes a Rest from screens.
Waving hi to Bee, Mj, LaDonna, Susi, andPam.

Good morning all, Randy and I are double teaming the house work, I'll house walk then walk later to pick up trash on our road because yes the sun is shining! It is cold but I'll take it. Cooking some deer burgers later and may make a potato salad for the boys as we'll invite our son to come eat. Reading and a little church work later will be on the agenda. Not sure what else at this pt. June, Roasted turkey is so good! I do the same thing when its cold out. We have our bottles of water in the garage and other misc things that we want to stay cold. Yes rest your eyes I need to do that too. Audrey, sounds like you have a nice day planned. I use a local pharmacy that adds in the personal touch but I know some people have to use CVS for ins purposes. Becky, I'm still so relieved that you were able to get what you needed and have come thru the worst. You are right we all wanted to help physically but thankfully our prayers were answered I hope the leak can be repaired soon and will be a simple fix. Ann, Sending happy thoughts to you and Carl as you celebrate his special day! Enjoy every minute. Cathy, so glad u like blue and it is working so well. you are rocking the WL! The cousins are just hanging this weekend and celebrating a birthday. No hunting. We have never had a bear to process but a lady I used to work with brought some bear stew to work one day and it was pretty tasty. The bear meet is dark and sort of beefy. When Laken went bear hunting several months ago she was just along for the ride and experience. About to get started on my list...wishing all a blessed day!

We got to H‑E‑B, minimal waiting outside as we had heard and was able to get enough of what we needed for the weekend. No use in stocking up too much making other people to do without.
I found milk, bottle water, fruit mostly canned but fine with that and affect plain Greek yogurt and most importantly coffee even if it wasn’t our favorite blend but I am thankful for all I was able to find.
I am also thankful I am eating a salad for lunch.

So happy you got to shop Becky. Nice that you didn't fully stock up to leave some for the next customer. ♥️
