I am 66.
Kathy is probably still in her 50’s. She is the young one.

Linda, not me! I'll be 69 in a couple of months. I think Becky is right that Kathy is the baby of the group, but I'm not sure about Denise.
Becky, do you still have power? Has the pump thawed and you have water (even if you have to boil it)? Sending warm thoughts your way.

Karen We have had power for about 3 days which includes today. The pump thawed out yesterday and now have a water leak under the house. Called handyman and he has several ahead of us understandably of course. We will wait out turn.

Karen, thanks for the start. I remember when we were on the 50s board on the old WW message boards and you were turning 60. Now I'm wondering how long Chele and I have been posting on this thread. It has to be over 10 years! Becky, this is the only board where I'm called the young one, lol! Hope the water leak isn't too bad. I'm so glad your power is back and you have food. I hope things return to normal soon. Linda, sad to say, I'm no longer in my 50s either. I'm also not sure about Denise. There was someone a few years younger than me posting for awhile, but she drifted away. I think she worked in the casinos in Las Vegas.
Chele, is it thawing out any there? It's only 60 here after going up to 86 yesterday.
Liz, any plans for the weekend?

Linda, I turned 63 in December. Liz, may be still just under 60.
Kathy, it’s 28° and I believe that is the high for the day. It is 15 days in a row we have been below freezing. I started WW in January 2011, so it has been 10 years. Wow, Kathy, I have had IRL friendships that haven’t lasted that long. We saw a house wren for the first time yesterday. Normally, we only see Carolina wrens.
Becky, hurrah for the church ladies and nice of you to return the favor to the neighbors. Sorry about the water leak and hope it gets fixed soon.
Karen, how is GF with Covid doing? What are you guys up-to today. Is Dale polishing floors?
Denise, are you working this weekend?
Liz, how is the head?
I had a lazy start to the day and am now doing laundry. My PF had been doing a little better so I overstretched it doing yoga yesterday so I did not forget what pain is. Doh! I am taking a day of rest today.

Becky, I'm happy that life is returning to normal for you, despite the water leak. At least you are on the list to get that repaired and I hope it will be today. Did you make it out for food yet? I hope the stores were able to restock the items you eat the most. I wanted to thank you for the recommendation of IB Solution. Mine came on Thursday and I started taking it right away and can already tell the difference. Unfortunately, it has pointed out that the GI problem wasn't the only one I was having. I think I have some arthritis in my right hip/pelvis that I thought was all connected and apparently not. It was a little cranky on the bike this morning, but it's not like the only place I have arthritis, so I can deal.
We have nuthatches here as well, Chele, and sometimes you have to look closely to be able to tell the difference between them and the Carolina chickadees. I haven't seen any lately, so I hope they will come back this spring. It amazes me how many smaller birds seem to be enjoying the suet block. I guess it's because of the added fat that is more energy-producing for them than the seeds in the feeder. Have you had all the snow you're expecting for the near term? How are the roads in your neighborhood? I have the eggplant fries recipe pulled up to make this afternoon. Thanks for asking about GF with covid. She had a chest x-ray yesterday and the pneumonia is subsiding. Also the leg swelling is covid-related and not a blood clot. She is still extremely tired but is no longer considered contagious. Dale did polish floors this morning. He started while I was biking (during my gardening shows--that worked out well) and finished up about an hour ago. They look really nice. He did the dining room and my studio as well. He is now working in "the barn" and I've spent most of the time in the kitchen. OUCH on stirring up the PF. That takes so long to resolve that it doesn't let you forget for a long, long time. Laundry's enough for one day. Take the rest of the day off. You're right about how long some of us have been on this thread being longer than some of our in-person friendships. This group often knows more about what's going on with me than some of my close friends, most of whom I've known for 20+ years.
Kathy, I think I joined the old 50s thread 2010 or 2011, and I know you and Chele had been on for a while. So, if it's been at or near 10 years for me, I know it's well over 10 for you. I remember asking if y'all were going to kick me off when I turned 60 and that would have been 2012. I started the old WW forums with a triathlete thread and I think I was the oldest one on there. I'm still friends with some of those people through My Fitness Pal. The workout schedule really does well for me because all I have to do is look at the schedule to figure out what I need to do today. That really works well on the days when the brain doesn't engage in the early morning.
Denise, I know you had a day off midweek, so does that mean you are working this weekend? Are covid numbers dropping there?
Did you get your Saturday errands done, Liz? How did the week go? How is Zoe?
After Dale finished with the floors and I could get into the kitchen, I made Arya 4 mornings of breakfasts, dry sauted crimini mushrooms, and cooked some soup for lunch. The wax made the smell of the propane on the cooktop really strong, so we are running all the ceiling fans to try to dissipate that. I'm glad he only does the floors once a year. I'll do the eggplant fries before dinner. We have bright sunshine, but it started out in the 20s and has just hit the mid-30s, so it looks warmer than it actually is. We are supposed to hit 60° by Wednesday, so I may do a little gardening then. The a.m. news said vaccines for 65+ were already in effect for all counties in TN, but I went on the website and it's still showing 70+, so I hope the website will be updated on Monday and I can get scheduled.

moonriver, Denise, we are expecting some floods next week due to warming temps and melting snow. Yay, for the weekend off. Enjoy your trip to the lake before the ice is gone. Karen, glad to hear GF is making progress on her recovery. I hope you like the eggplant fries. We love ‘em. The chiropractor was looking for a new restaurant to try, so Iggy recommended the Wheat Penny where we first had eggplant fries. Chiropractor and wife are vegetarians and the restaurant has many vegetarian choices, not so much vegan, though. Dayton is not a big vegan choice town. We have a chance of rain/snow Sunday night and scattered snow showers Monday. We are not expecting significant accumulation. I am glad the IB solutions is working for hour GI issues. Sorry about the arthritis. Linda, I would not survive an upper Michigan/Canadian winter. I like cold weather but not snow and ice.

Hey, Denise! May what? I am also a May baby--the 9th. Enjoy your weekend off. Enjoy that warmer weather. Every degree brings us closer to spring. How thick is the ice on the lake? I didn't think it had been cold enough for long enough to allow that to happen.
Chele (and Linda), the eggplant fries turned out good. Even Dale liked them, so it's a keeper. I added garlic powder like you suggested and I'm glad I did. Sorry about the impending floods, but that's life in a river town. I hope you don't live close enough to a body of water to have any close effects for you and Iggy. The lake is up about 10 ft since last week at this time, which sounds like a lot until you realize we are still 25 ft below full pool, so not even close enough to kayak yet. But at least we can see water. We don't have any designated vegetarian (let alone vegan) restaurants around here. When we can get vegetarian, we're ok with that. I'm afraid the arthritis is going to be an ongoing thing.Totally agree on Michigan/Canada. I almost moved to Kenosha, Wisconsin in the late 70 and wonder to this day what I was thinking. Times like this week, I don't think I moved far enough south.

Kathy I sure thought you were still in your late 50's. I guess take the compliment and run. LOL. Kenneth turned off the water pump so it won't get any worse than it is. I sure would like to take a long hot shower. It's kind of like when Covid had started and you kept hearing about a new normal. That is what they are calling it here. Today was much better although busy.
Chele You are just a young whipper snapper too. I think I started WW in 2012 so we are almost twins on that. We are willing to wait for our handyman to get a break in his schedule. He not only works around Elgin but does most of his work in Austin. One lady didn't even want me to say she donated food. She said to consider it a gift from God so I plan to honor her request.
Karen It will be awhile I'm sure before the leak gets fixed. In Austin they are at least 2 weeks out. Today was only the third day HEB was open. The last 2 days they were only open 12-5 and they only let a few people in at a time and people waited outside in the cold for up to 2 hours. Today they were open 8-8 and it didn't even take us 15 minutes to get inside. There were a lot of empty shelves but that's to be expected when delivery trucks can't run. I thought they were very organized. Walmart just opened 4 hours ago so I know it's a madhouse. I am glad the IB Solution helps your GI issues even if it pointed out more arthritis. Scooter is evidently miffed at us because of the snow. You know it was all our fault it snowed. She hasn't eaten her kibble in 3 days but when we are eating she acts like she is starving. There is nothing physically wrong with her. Her world has been turned upside down I guess. I told her she would eat when she gets hungry and I'm not catering to her happy butt anymore. I was able to take my first shorter walk on the road today. Boy am I out of shape. There is a lot of difference in walking outside and walking in the house.

Chele, wow, 10 years is a long time for any friendship! I've wondered what Deb and some of the other original posters are up to. 28° is still very cold, especially for the high. I took groceries over to my mom's today and we were both chilly when it was in the low 60s. It's the ups and downs that get me since it was 86 yesterday. I saw the wood stork out there again and went and got my camera. Dead batteries, yeah, I'm good! Of course, he was gone by the time I changed them. Batteries are restocked now, so I'm ready next time he comes around. Hope the PF is better. You've earned a day of rest. Karen, I remember you had triathlete in your username. I'm going to give the workout schedule a try next week and see if it helps. I think that's why the yoga series worked for me since I had a schedule of what to do. I hope you can get the vaccine scheduled soon. They've been speculating which groups they'll open up next here, but nobody knows if they will expand the ages yet. They're talking about essential workers and those with severe conditions, so it may be awhile for me. Did you see Orange County on the news last night? There were 2 women in line to get vaccinated that tried to pass as being over 65. One was 34 and one was 44 and they had ridiculous disguises on that wouldn't have fooled anyone. Despite the bad disguises they managed to get the first shot and were in line for their second! Hope your GF continues to improve. Sounds like she's had a really rough time. moonriver , we're both 59ers then. They used to have threads for each year of birth on the old WW boards and the 59er group was the first one I posted in. My birthday is in March, so you've officially replaced me as the youngest in the group! Enjoy your trip to the lake and your weekend off. Becky, LOL on the compliment. I don't blame you for wanting a long hot shower and hope you can get one before too long. That's good that you have a handyman you know even if you have to wait a bit for him to come out. Hopefully, the stores will be able to restock fairly soon. They were showing buildings with broken pipes on the news and it looked pretty bad for some people. Linda, I have relatives in upstate NY and I don't know how they deal with those cold winters every year.

Becky, do you have any water? That hot shower is going to be really nice when you can have one. I heard the power was back on in a lot of TX, so I'm glad you're a part of that group. Scooter just needs to get over herself. It's not like she's the only one affected by the weather situation. They are so funny when their little routines are upended. What did she think of all that snow? Hopefully food deliveries will normalize this week and your digestive system will reset quickly. If your plumber is working you in amongst Austin customers, that could take a little while. Hope it will be a quick fix when he gets there. Congrats on getting a walk in. It doesn't take us long to lose our fitness levels.
North Dakota, Chele? I thought Wisconsin was bad! Are you above freezing? Will you have a warm up this week? Will Iggy get to the chiropractor this week? How are both your backs doing?
Kathy, I have also wondered about Deb, Jaye, and some of the others. Who was the one who went RV'ing a lot? Good luck with the workout scheduling this week. You remember correctly about my old username on the other thread having triathlete in it. In fact, it was triathlete4906 because I did my first triathlon on April 9, 2006. I was able to get my 1st shot scheduled today but the best I could do was the day after Easter, even checking in a couple of local counties. They aren't even scheduling appointments in Sevier County for some reason. If I get a chance to go to one of the pharmacies earlier, I can cancel the appointment, but the pharmacies are still at 70+. GF said this is the sickest she has ever been and it's going to take her a while to get back to what her normal was.
I'll bet the lake was cold, Denise. Hope you bundled up.
Liz, how has the weekend been? Is your snow melting?
Dale is on his way back from trailing running at the state park and is bringing Salsarita's. I am watching women's basketball and listening to baseball, both Tennessee. I'll have a load of laundry to do when he gets home and then will have the kitchen to clean up after he gets done cooking veggies for his dinners this week. I hope He won't be too messy. I did some time on the treadmill this morning and wore compression tights so the hip wasn't a problem.
