Morning all!! We did it!! No more subfreezing nights so no more worries about pipes bursting. *High-fiving all my fellow Texans* 🥳🎉 Whew, the snow was beautiful but the rest of it, eh not impressed. Hope everyone has a wonderful day! I am IN! ☕️☕️☕️

Going to try and wrestle Murrays sweater off him today lol - that should take a good hour! Coffee, more coffee and maybe coffee. Boiling water right now so I can cook and wash dishes later.

I'm in. *waves*
Glad our Texas peeps are past the worst of it. Continued prayers for all those that will be dealing with pipe and water damage for weeks to come. The melt has started here with some sun today and driving is no problem. Chores and laundry on tap here. Tonight, some angel hair pesto and a movie.
Enjoy the day!

I'm in, planned and tracked. Glad our Texan friends will finally start to thaw out. Praying the damage is minimal. Mother Nature decided to puke up another inch of snow last night in time to freeze over.

Late check in here. It's 60 degrees in the shade and it is so nice! The septic guy came and got us up and running. Then, DSIL came over and he and DH emptied our attic of about 15 empty large Rubbermaid tubs. They used to hold DD's stuffed animal collection and old Christmas lights and decorations. 2 of the tubs held DD's school notebooks and drams awards from high school. I'm sure she'll be surprised those are coming to her garage; she's been happy for me to store them here for the past 20 years! LOL! DSIL took some of the empty tubs and the rest will be offered to my neighborhood FB page. Stuff only lasts a minute when you advertise it on our page. I am glad to get everything out of the attic and I'll get the garage cleaned up tomorrow when it will be even warmer. DotRen, I hope they remove the boil water notice for you today; it's a pain to boil it for everything. Thanks for the warm wishes this week to us Texas gals. DH reminded me to not complain once time in August when it's 100 degrees! HA!

Good news from all so happy to hear it today!!!
Murray and his sweater reminds me of my son. Our son was born in Hawaii (we were a military family for 21 years) - we moved to CO when he was 3 - he would weep and cry because he had to wear shoes outside (November) - he just couldn't understand...the memory makes me smile.
