Because of Beck, Iβm finally able to enjoy all foods instead of sticking with only the foods that I know I can control . I choose seafood & poultry for lower points most of the time and very rarely have fried foods. I prepare breakfast occasionally and lunch always, but Mr. Luvvinlife decides the dinner menus and heβs happy that he has free reign. I just track and eat! π

ann1953, Thanks. Two weeks ago I had a pretty big jump, would like that to go down and not become my new normal.

bbbearsmom, I actually did used to do a bit of foot massage years ago. I think if I am more consistent with meditating that will be the biggest help. I did say I was looking forward to possible jury duty, but really I dread it. So that my be contributing to my rebellious gut. Tuesday, February 23: 123.2 - down 0.8 lb.

lani, When I was diagnosed with IBS if I didn't keep up with my Metamucil I would have problems. Mine was from the stress from working. A year or so after I quit working my IBS symptoms went away.

bbbearsmom, yes, besides meditating I need to take my probiotic faithfully and I also take L-Glutamine powder (supposed to support the small intestine). Some of it might be a placebo effect, knowing all these in combination have worked in the past. Who knows...

lani, I use the probiotic I use because my cat's vet recommended it to me. She has some digestive upset, don't know if it was lactose intolerance or something and said this particular probiotic helped her. The brand is Probium. Besides that I have Greek yogurt everyday. Chester-the-cat has some of the yogurt too. He'll also drink my lactose-free milk. I really believe the hype about probiotics and the live bacteria in yogurt.

bbbearsmom , I give kitty a fish oil capsule (cut open and squeezed onto his wet food) daily for dry flaky skin. Recommended by the vet. Works great and super shiny coat. The things we do for our furry overlords. As far as this human goes, I am convinced the probiotics help; I'm not sure about the L-Glutamine.

lani, The fish oil sounds like a good idea. I think I tried taking it once for dry skin but then I was allergic to the pills and broke out in a rash.

171.6
up...I am going to stick with blue BUT I am going to weigh and measure out the zero point foods. Maybe I am going over in serving size? We will see. It could be the scale is broken or I am stuck on a plateau. Whatever...it is what it is and I am sticking to the program for the month...one more week then reassess.
