So at my meeting this morning we had a substitute leader. She's subbed before and is generally not well liked - her meetings are very leader-driven and the past 2 times there was no mention of the meeting topic.
Today she had a list of things to talk about on the whiteboard - mostly online recipe sources - that was fine, especially for newbies.
But also on the list was the Blood Group Diet - she was saying she used it and was pleased etc. I'm toying with the idea of reporting this because I'm thinking that anyone new to WW could think this was actually part of the WW program.
Any thoughts?

Definitely; so not okay on so many levels. I miss the old days when leaders didn't work off a script, but talking about another weight loss program...no.

I would definitely talk to my ldr when they return. This is not acceptable in my book.

Nancy - I was thinking exactly the same thing. This was so bizarre this morning. I think we should talk to our leader next week. Wrong on so many levels.

I would definitely mention something to your regular leader. Then, if it seems like she's not going to do anything, report her. One time when I was going to meetings we had a sub who said a few things that really rubbed me the wrong way. I did tell the leader, who I was friends with, and she wasn't happy with it either. I don't know if she talked to the woman, or just never used her as a sub again. Generally, at least back when I was working for WWers we were responsible for finding our own subs if we weren't going to be able to work.

Sandy - I'm glad it's not just me. Let's talk to her next week.
